Ok thank you JayLaw2: You don’t need an agent. You can apply directly to the school as an international student. I’m also going to Humber. Simply go to the school’s website, click on programs. On your selected program page, click on “HOW TO APPLY”. There’s a session for international student. Click on “APPLY THROUGH THE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE” This is a pretty easy and direct process you can handle yourself. Go through the program requirement and upload the necessary documents you need. All the best! |

OK thank you NairaLuck: If they insist on agent, and you're not comfortable with it, then apply to another school. Lambton College told me to contact their agent here, agent said 60k first to start anything |

To think I just asked how sure the person is..cos it’s beginning to sound like one won’t get the visa if you don’t go NSE route oooo.. We don’t want speculation oo.. pity us oo Elevation20: I have been seeing how you have been advocating for NSE.Please do you work with CIC?How did you know that it gives someone a better chance of approval? You even went as far as posting that people should not opt out of it. Please stop instigating fear into people. NSE is a faster route that is the only thing that makes it different from the normal processing. Is not everyone that wants to write IELTS.Allow them to make their choice and stop spreading fear. |

Pls is this for a fact that it increases ones chances of approval or just your own opinion Time2soar: Even if your bank is not on mybankstatement you should still send one year bank history and IELTS,. if these documents will not improve your study permit application, ircc will not put your application on hold pending when they receive this documents or the due date to submit them passed.
When IRCC send NSE letter it is because they know it gives you a better chance of approval |

You people should pls be reading the thread.. all this have been tackled..Questions are becoming repetitive on this thread..pls we need more transcripts from those that have gotten approvals..thank You all Oluwaseyitanfun: I have a question please and it is urgent .. I got the NSE mail 3days ago, but I got my admission without ielts. I was initially preparing for my ielts (General) because I intended going through the EE route, but I eventually opted for study permit.
I have a month as deadline to submit the request and I've actually concluded on writing ielts as soon as possible. Now to my questions : 1 - is it advisable I write the ielts now just to fast track my application?
2 - does it mean my application won't be attended to till after the one month deadline that was given?
3 - Can I write to them to just continue the normal process since I do not have all the requirements(which is only the ielts).
4 - A friend said it's not everyone that's receiving the request and if an applicant receives the NSE request, it only means the applicant is likely to be given the study permit. Is this true? I'm so sorry for my questions, I'm just confused.
Thanks a bunch, as I am anticipating your response. |

Thank you JayLaw2: Yes they do if your reason is Covid or Study permit refusal. You can’t get a refund if your request is 10 official days after the start of classes. |

Hello everyone, 1)For the NSE application..? The 30,000 CAD required to be ones account , is it excluding payment of school fees? Does one need to have paid school fees just like the regular method of application? 2)For the regular application? The 10k living expense? Must it be in my account or sponsors account for the four or six months period? Thanks for your response(s) |

We beg you all to drop transcripts ericksen: For those of us that have crossed to BVL, PPR and co levels, let's not forget the newbies in the house. I can see that we are not helping them enough with their requests. Please let's continue to support them so they can progress to our stage too.
As for the newbies here, before you ask any question, I will advise that you take the time out to read the thread from the very first page, you'd see that before you even get to this page, you'll notice that you already have the answers to most of your questions.
Cheers! |

Thank you Pls what’s the difference between postgraduate diploma and postgraduate certificate Frankrobbn1: I will advice you for a Post Graduate program that is reasonable in light with your current job role. In the event that a program in Journalism is a progression in your career path, you can apply for it.
You can change your DLI and Program to another, however, you must advice IRCC via your CIC account about the change and provide proof of enrollment and maybe a copy of your tuition receipt in the new program.
It will end in praise |

Pls I sent you an email.. will be glad to get a response Luckymama: Your not having worked before May. The question the VO will be asking is why has your husband suddenly decided to spend such a huge amount on your education?
I am in this situation too, though in my case I have been doing small business but just for pocket money, nothing substantial. I got a refusal and one of the reasons was current employment situation.
You will have to spend some time explaining in your SOP the earning power of your new degree and the job availability in Nigeria once you are done. Your Husband being your only sponsor is actually the best, as long as he has enough funds. |
