The refinery was sited in Lagos based on factors that determines the location of an industry such like proximity of raw materials to industry and proximity of finished products to market etc.
It will interest you to know that this man laid the pipelines under the sea for crude transport from south south where the crude is gotten from all the way to Lagos

There is a difference between crude exploration and crude refining.
In any industrial project to be done, one of the first assignment is what's called environmental impact assessment

Why not engage these 774k Nigerians as security personnel in each local gvt even if if its on contrast basis as it may not be sustainable.The gvt wants to waste this hard earned funds on Nigerians for doing nothing.

The federal govt is proposing to spend #400 billion ($1.2billion) this year on N power in 2021. I am thinking the gvt had spent approximately $4 billion dollars since 2017. I feel this is a wasted funds because same batch A and batch B beneficiaries are back to the labour market. Again imagine the cumulative huge funds gvt is paying on fuel subsidy monthly since 2015. Supposing this money is channeled on building a refinery. We should have reached a milestone.
