Technology Market › Re: Which Is Better Between Airtel Router And MTN Hynet Flex? by Kubernetes: 11:23am On Dec 12, 2021 |
ihollarmide: I am a very heavy data user and consume data in the region of 70GB - 100GB of data per month. In the past, I used to subscribe to the MTN Pulse binge data bundle of 2GB for 2 days. 3 months ago after I got a new smartphone and inserted my airtel sim card, Airtel sent me a message telling me that I am eligible for a 100% data bonus for three months if I purchase data plans within the price range of 500 to 4000 naira. Since then, I have always been doing the 3000 naira for 20GB (10GB main data and 10GB bonus) and I usually do this like 5 times a month. Now, the offer has elapsed and I am at crossroads as to the best data plan available on either MTN or Airtel because they are the best in my location. Spectranet and Smile are out of it as I am either in Lagos, Abeokuta, or Ibadan, and not one of those service providers has coverage not to talk of excellent coverage in those three areas.
On checking the router plans between Airtel and MTN, I am at a crossroads on the best to go for between the two because they offer competitive prices but MTN slightly has the advantage because it includes a 100% bonus for 3 months on purchase of their Hynet Flex Router.
Who has used any of the two and what can you say about it? Any advice for me?
Thank you. Hello please which sim router or modem do you use now and is it good? I have done a port forwarding using my phone WiFi 9mobile sim for a Pi node set up,but my PC is not pinging.

1. Always look carefully at the toilet when about to sit on the toilet seat. 2. You should once in a while poor 2 or 3 cups of salt in the toilet as this will kill any any snake or it eggs inside the chamber or soakaway. 3. Always inspect the soakaway. Make sure its devoid of wholes or leaks around it. |

97loodbre: Let's be realistic and shun emotional sentiments.... There are hundreds of very big churches and cathedrals in Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Jigawa, Kaduna, Zamfara and even Maiduguri. These are core muslim states in Nigeria. How many such big mosques or Islamic centres can you count or find in the south-south or South-East It's very unfortunate that some misguided elements and agents of the devil in the North such as Bokoharam and ISWAP are busy killing innocent christians, but they kill innocent muslims too. Thousands of muslims have been killed in the North by these agents of the devil, so I don't see why any right thinking person will generalize it and term Nigeria a christian persecuting country. It is just so nunfortunate the level of religious intolerance and misinformation some christian leaders chun out to their followers. May Nigeria succeed. Exactly. These criminals hiding under Islam does not care about your religion. They kill anything that comes there way be it Muslim, christian, Pegan etc. And thats why we always say they are not true Muslim. A true Muslim will live peacefully with his non Muslim neighbor the way Prophet Muhammad (saw) lived in harmony with Jews and Christians in Madina. |
Politics › Re: IMF Tells FG To Remove Electric And Fuel Subsidies, Give More Jobs by Kubernetes: 7:22pm On Nov 20, 2021 |
backbencher: The refinereis don't work because of subsidy
In order to keep fuel prices cheap...government since the 1980's has been forcing refineries to refine fuel at a loss, and to sell it at a loss..and marekters to transport the fuel at a loss. The money paid to cover such losses is called a subsidy.
And because the cost of making a liter of fuel and transporting it is not static....the amount needed to pay for the subsidy rises year in year out. Government of course cannot afford to pay higher.
Which means no profits made, and thus refinereis cannot be repaired on time, or upgraded when needed...so they fail. And here we are.
The reason why you have GSM is because Obasanjo refused to subsidse it...despite people screaming about how the GSM companies were exploiting us...meaning they make enough profit to expand and upgrade services. "The money paid to cover such losses is called a subsidy" simply means the refineries and power stations are making profit if really the subsidy is being paid to cover the losses to them. I expect IMF to tell Nigeria to repair and build more refineries so that 99% of the crude will be refined in Nigeria. Nigeria has spent almost #1 trillion naira since January on subsidy . This huge money could have been saved or used to create more jobs |

AbuAeesha: am surprised someone like Reno doesn't know enaira isn't crypto currency lol.. Even earlier comments here suggests people aren't too conversant with blockchain teck. Someone said the fact that its blockchain makes it completely decentralised. He forgets that in blockchain, we have what is called Decentralised finance otherwise called deFi. And we also have centralised finance otherwise called ceFi. Example of centralised finance is the popular exchange called Binance. Yes binance have total control of what happens on their platform. And that's why their p2p trxn is very safe with the introduction of their excro account |
