Kayautojun:With all due respect, from where i am standing here, its a tall order to get a 04/05 for that price. At least without any major complications with the car. If you deduct the almost 500k to ship and clear the ride, its will leave about 1.4m for the car. All i can say is that i hope you find what you are looking for but i have my doubt. Without going on a wild goose chase, i think you should be upfront with ur client about her budget. |
AMERICANEX:Hi John, Good job u are doing here. Is the above rate of $1k also good for Jacksonville port for similar sizes quoted above?. Thanks |
1Achiever:Quite interesting. Please keep the house informed when you get the car. Will like to see it. You can barely land a 2000/2001 Camry in excellent condition for 1.4m talkless of a 530i. Please update the house if you don't mind. |

1Achiever:Sir, Being a registered dealer here in California, i have weekly access to dealer's auction. What is offered varies every week. But i can guarantee you is a clean, solid car with no accident history and no odometer rollback or tampering. Whereever you chose to get your vehicle, just make sure that you do your due diligence in checking that the car is what you want or at least have someone do that on your behalf. With that said, below is something that will be selling this week. Its a 2001 BMW 530i with about 80,000 miles on it. Landing cost is N2.4m. A newer one like a 2003 will be higher or something with like a 100,000- 120,000 will be slightly cheaper. BMW are very strong and resilient vehicle (You own one). A properly maintained onw at 120,000 should not be a concern as far as reliability is concerned. The picture is provided by the aution not the one i took myself but you can at least see what is it about.

Ok. Got you. |
1Achiever:Are you looking to have it sent directly from the US or you are looking for one already in Naija? |

chatupkay:@ poster, This is a very clean Murano without a doubt. But i am not sure if your a being honest about the year of the car. This is not (an can't be a 2006) Murano. The tail light should be LED if it were a 2006. I will like to assume that it was just a mistake on your part as oppose to being ![]() The design on the tail light of the 2006 should look like this below

innomaria: innomaria:@ poster. One thing i relish about a public forum is the ability and opportunity to learn from one another. One thing i will like to point out to you is the fact that it takes about N500,000 to ship and clear an average car from US to Lagos. It will be more for newer vehicles, especially Jeeps. I am just talking on the average here. With that said, it if you deduct that from your budget, it is obvious what will be left. As per your request, i just checked the auction's inventory and found the attached vehicles that are coming up this week. One is coming up on Tuesday and the other is coming up on Thursday. The Thursday one is my favorite. They are both 2001 Model. Mileage is between 110k to 130k miles. It will cost you N1.1m to get to Lagos and you clear. Or a total of N1.35m altogether. That is the best possible price that can be done. It can't be less than that. I am basically getting the car for you at cost. I suggest that you look around and check the prices on these cars. As you already know. You have all the time to be able to make the Thursday Auction. My email is: promise72@yahoo.com Will direct you to meet with my banker in VI and you pay if you are ready. This is the one for Thursday's Auction [Please know that these are not my pics. They are original Auction's pics]

This is a 2007. Correct. Happy Sale. |
@ poster, Without trying to knock your hussle, i think it will be at least honorable not to be deceptive. The 2 pics of the Escape are different. Those are 2 different cars. One is an european right hand drive, while the other is a US model. The first one is parked right in front of a house while the other is backing a fence. And just in case you decide to say that the car was moved, how do you explain the differences in the bumper colors? One is darker than the other. Or i am waiting to hear your excuse like form the other forum of CRV that its just the other one you sold (or have for sale). https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-392316.0.html My hunch is that you wanna sell a converted European Escape like the US spec. Please be honorable, cos some people might be looking closely.

jp philips: jp philips:Without derailing this thread, i will chime in rather quickly on this issue. You were putting the cart before the horse. When you don't know the meaning of a wording, you should have asked first before jumping into conclusion. Lets assume that a fully insured vehicle was stolen in the US/Canada. The insurance company will pay off the owner of the vehicle for the value of the car. So lets say that after like 2 months the the stolen vehicle was found by the police. The vehicle now belongs to the insurance company (cos the have already paid the original owner off when if was stolen in the first place). The vehicle is then declared as a "TOTAL LOSS" which technically means in insurance terms that the vehicle cannot be redeemed for any financial value when it was originally stolen Such vehicle will then be taken to an auction after recovery and sold. A stolen recovery vehicle can be found in varying conditions. sometimes they can be intact, sometimes parts stolen, sometimes crashed etc. If it were stolen and never found, the insurance company will have it posted on the VIN as "STOLEN" not a "TOTAL LOSS" This vehicle posted looks like the ones found without any damage to them. Once again, before you start pointing accusing finger, its good to be sure that you know what you are talking about. |
