Approach with Caution! It will cost about N250,00 - N300,000 Naira to clear this car. About $1300 to ship(That's N208,000 @ N160/$) That's at least N458,000. Left with about N80,000 To buy. And make profit |
Chooktar:For your info, after 1994, the vigor was discontinued and the TL REPLACED the Vigor, hence they are two different things. Just like the Avalon Replaced the Cressida here in the U.S. Can u see an Avalon and still call it a Cressida? ![]() If it doesnt show a Vigor at the back why refer it as a Vigor? ![]() President Ya'radua REPLACED Obasanjo, will you refer to the current President as Obasanjo then? Anyways. I will you good and smooth sale then. I just hope that the car is not magically "SOLD" when people show up to buy. ![]() |
perfectbuy:This is a 4X4? |
You can see the date of manufacture sticker inside the car. Exact point where the driver's side door latch close. or check on the seatbelt of the driver side. it should show the year. If its a US car, check VIN report! |
This looks like a TL! Interior pics/VIN reports? |
How do u swagger without pics? Common men. No more keeping us in suspense ![]() |
That look like a TL. Do you know what u are selling? Interior pics? VIN? |
I have only seen two Z's ever in Nigeria. First time was back in 1991/92. I was a student at the poly ibadan. The then presidential aspirant, SHINKAFI (forgot his 1st name) came to our campus to rally. He didnt even come into the campus The rally took place at the main gate. The other time i was home again, either in 2005 or 2007 trip, i saw one again in ibadan. It was parked in front of a used engine/tokunbo dealer. I was just driving by. I was not sure if its running or imported for parts. Its a very specific vehicle. You have to be a "Z" lover to want one. (Yours truly here ). However, the low profile of the car is not helping either cos of our roads. Thats why jeep is so common. However, if anyone is interested, i can help send one to cotonou for about $9,000. The body shape above was made from 1990 - 1996 hence it will go to cotonou. Can get something not more than 130,000 - 140,000 miles and clean for about $7,000. Shipping for around $2,000. Please realize that it will take some work to get a clean title and well maintained "Z" car cos most of these cars are owned by young guys who tend to drive them hard and rough. However, there are few in the hands of older and matured drivers. Will pull out all the stops in prying it off their hands (Lots of pleading, begging, convincing and crying Popular colors are: Silver, Red, Black, White, Forest Green (Very Rare), Royal Blue (Ultra Rare). Also, some come as what is called a 2+2, which means there's extra 2 seats at the back. Barely comfortable for an adult though. You can get either manual or automatic Everything i said above, is partaining only to US Models only. In Japan, the car is called the "FAIRLADY Z" Saw only pics of 350Z in Lagos. Anyone with update on that? |
emeshot:Mistakes will happen. But how we deal with it is what matters most. I dont believe Emeshot konw anything about the car. Nonetheless, he offered to sell the car, hence he got mixed up in the mess. Funny thing is that the owner who brought the car to Naija "MIGHT" not have a clue. There have been cases of people owning/driving cars for year here in the US without a clue it was stolen. You did a great thing mate!. Carry Go. Just be careful next time. |
Are u sure its 300sx or 300zx? Pictures? |
Well its very simple. I became a year older this month. I believed that your name is your brand and your brand is your name (Donald Trump for example) When i joined NL, few years ago, it looks like one of those discussion forum that i wont be very active in. However, it became a very informative site and i see a lot of potential here. I've met good people here and some controversial ones . However, all in all, i just wanna drop any assumed screen name and used the name my mama gave me ![]() When i come up with my stuff, people can call me up and say "Can i speak with kunle?" Rather than Can i speak with "Promise72" . Not too professional. in my opinion. I put up my picture too. Nothing to hide. No shaking.Something too i learnt from Donald Trump. He said thats why he puts his name on his buildings. Your name is your brand ![]() |
fernald:This used to be "Promise 72". Just changed my screen name. Here's the link. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-288004.0.html Here i go. Success is not a "spectator sport". What i will advise you is that if you wanna deal in cotonou, go there with someone who know the way around. On the first trip, DONT BUY ANYTHING! JUST LOOK! You can go 2-3 times just to study the situation of things. Price etc. Hook up preferably with someone who will only charge you for going around with you and will arrange how it will get back here. After 2-3 times, then buy one or two cars, see how it goes then you will become a pro yourself in the logistics of things. You will meet honest people and meet crooked ones too. But all you can do is minimize ur risk by being attentive and careful. NOT BY STAYING IN YOUR FLAT AND SENDING SOMEONE! Car business, like i have said requires your presence. Be ready to drive, travel, wait, be heartbroken, be angry, be happy among other things. But you have to go there. That's all for now. Let me know if you have any question. |
This is PROMISE 72 here. I was unable to change former screen name (At least i am not getting any response from the Admin) so that i can keep all my prior contribution along with me. I understand that this is what i have to do if i need a screen name change. Just register a new one! Anyway i have been a member since 2005 or 2006 and its been a blast. Looking forward to more enjoyable reads. My Re-branding starts here! ![]() |
