Spoilers are attachments to an automobile, either to the bumper, trunk, tailgate above the rear screen, designed to generate downforce at speed. These make a powerful car more stable, and allow maximum contact and traction, between the tyres and the road surface. In order to generate more downforce though, there's a penalty - they increase "drag" (wind resistance, which of course reduces fuel economy. Spoilers tend to become useful at speeds above 70mph, which is the speed at which aerodynamics come into play.

Spoilers are also utilized to direct air over none too smooth areas on an automobile, to create a path of the least resistance, to increase fuel economy.

SRS is the term given to airbags - Supplementary Restraint System.

Siena, dont get the wires crossed. He's asking SR5 (S-R-FIVE). Which is a Toyota designation. it simply means Sport Rally 5 speed. Here's a link for that.

Which is good and fine. But the Logistics does not support a huge turnover. I am not sure if anyone in Nigeria can be GUARANTEED for 2 trucks/day. By the time your drivers wait in queue etc. It will be impossible to come home the same day with 66,000 litres of fuel.

According to the feasibility, if they ran out selling fuel before the end of the day, that translates to a "dormant investment". You are unable to be turning over your investment at that present moment cos u are not selling anything. That is considering that u have your own trucks. If you dont, thats a little bit harder. You cannot always have a truck ready to deliver for you alone all the time. Others will be waiting.

If petrol stations are so profitable, why do we have them "for sale" all the time? People go into the business without good judgement. Most of them are so over-prized anyway.

In a country that imports most of its oil, you are still subject to a larger unforseen factor that affects the business.

Does anybody here watch Top gear? i would like to know if that crazy guy (Jeremy Clarkson) is actually an expert or just an entertainer. I watched him totally shred the VW toureg as a ''terribly bad'' car. Please!!!!!!!!
In the same show he was busy praising subaru as one of the most reliable cars in the world. haba!!!!!!!!!!!

I know he probably broke ur heart cos you love the toureg so much. Especially in Naija. But the reports on the car is not too great from any reliable car critic. Save ur $$$ get a 4runner.

To be fair to carshopper, he hasn't made any inaccurate claims about this car. He just gave the VIN and price. If he had advertised it as a car with clean history, that's another matter but clearly not the case here. Don't forget that selling salvage vehicles is not a crime, misrepresentation of a car's history is what is wrong.

There has been a lot of water under the bridge and I think carshopper is careful about what claims he makes about his cars until he gets an actual VIN report.

Lets say a 1996 Camry and 1997 Bulldog was sent to Cotonou. What is the breakdown on the cost to get it into Lagos Legit? Will the custom care that its a 1996/1997? What is the cost to get it in that it wouldn't give problem to my buyers in Naija.

I don't think its cheap o, because the way people around here (Abuja) go on about it, I understand 1992 model (Nigerian used) goes for N600,000, what or who was it named after?

I said "CHEAPER". But you will get your money's worth on the car. The name may have come from the vehicle being favored by the Northern Mallams when it first came out

Its more advisable to see whatever you are buying. You also need to know enough about the area/neighborhood where you are buying. Not all deals are good deals. Foreclosure or not!

Whats the point of buying a house somewhere you cannot visit anyway?
