its the 1990-1993 Honda. Its cheaper and VERY RELIABLE. Most mechanics can fix it cos they are familiar with it. its been around for a while ![]() |
Joy2Dwise!:Not really. Depends on the condition. its a 2002 ![]() Some 01 Camry are going for 1.2-1.5m that not even a jeep |
@ Carshopper, Keep up the hussle. Ur swagger is coming. ![]() |
Hey Guys, The advise was asked in Dec. 2007. The car is probably not with the owner or dead by now ![]() |
Pelican:You seem rather harsh to say the least. i spoke with the owner of the truck yesterday and when he asked me of my opinion on the truck, i told him my only concern are the tires. HE DID CHANGED THE TIRES BEFORE SHIPPING! (Bear in mind that the truck is already gone before our discussion yesterday). The pics were taken where he bought the truck and it may have been an omission on his part to take the pics before changing the tires because potential buyers want to see EXACTLY what they are getting. As per the year of the truck, what matters most is that the functionality of the truck. The truth of the matter is that not all mechanics in Naija can handle new trucks' complexity. This is a truck that might be going cross country. What happens if you break down in a remote area and not modern tool to fix the truck? Or the mechanic is not familiar with it? After you leave a major city in Naija, all bets are off concerning repairs. We have seen here on Nairaland how many people have got their newer cars ruined from mechanics that are not too updated on new stuff. As a matter of fact, this truck has A/C. Believe it or not. As long as it running great. The year doesnt matter. Lots of trucks like this are plying American roads everyday as long as they pass a safety inspection. ![]() If you want a newer 90's truck, then keep it moving! This truck is solid. Not Rust bucket and its got good tires! Potential buyers can examine it themselves. |
Sorry to bother you. Let me ask some questions if you don't mind. how much was the shipping for this? From which port? Did they allow anything to be stacked on top? You can email me at: promise72@yahoo.com Thanks |
My experience with BOFA is that i have a direct deposit. i get paid on fridays. i wrote two checks on wednesday evening and the check hit the bank on thursday midnight. the direct deposit also hit on thursday midnight. The bank would not honor the check. I called and they told me that "the funds doesnt get posted until friday midnight" ![]() And i asked "But i could walk into a branch on Friday morning and get money? Answer: "Yes" ![]() O.K Since you see the funds coming in there, its not a check, its a wire xfer whay dont you just honor the checks? No explanation. Couldnt get anywhere with these ppl. The bad thing was that it was actually 2 checks. The funds in the acct is good to honor the smaller check but not the big one. They posted the bigger check, bounced that. Charge me Non sufficeint check fees ($35). Now the money remaining is not enough for the 2nd check. You guessed right. The boounced the other check too. and Charge another $35. All this is done while they are looking at my direct deposit coming into the acct. ![]() But they claim that "the funds dont get posted until friday midnight" technically, i dont have $$$ with them. |
thanks |
You failed to mention if its already in Nigeria. |
abdulkadir:What i will advise you to do is know the make/model you are looking for. You can begin to inquire from people in your area that are in the biz. Drilling machine have different capacity/capabilities. You cant just get antone and hope to use it. It might not be a correct fit/application for your area or project. Then you inquire about the model you are looking for based on ur findings. I hope that hepls |
I attended Ibadan Poly several moons back. But never been to Osogbo. I will like to know how many (approximately) kilometers is Osogbo from Ibadan? How long does it take to drive? How do i get there from ibadan? Thanks for your help guys. |
Durability wise, i might give top honor to Montero (just judging from its days as winner of Dakar Rally etc). But its not like its too far ahead of a pathy. However, a pathy wins in maintenance, fuel consumption and availability of parts in my opinion. For my $$$$, pathfinder all the way. Good luck. |
I will like to know if anyone knows the ambient temp in Lagos/Ibadan Metro area. Just on the average i am looking for. Thanks |
omotee4eva:Even if someone will finance all the total cost of the project. How much experience do u have in the industry? Nobody wants to hand out 400m to somebody with no prior experience in a field. What is the viability of the project? Nobody is prepared to lose a penny. Not for a novice. Even pros have problem raising funds in their own line of work. Keep th dream alive. Good luck. |
do u clear customs or just to lagos port? Hardtop or convertible |
Carshopper:Nothin do you now. You are making all the effort and due diligence on ur postings. What the importer did to the car in the US is out of your call. At least you know the REAL story on the car so it doesn't make u look bad. Get ur hussle on. Sometimes i wonder if our ppl want to reconcile with the real truth. A 30k miles Patty fully loaded with a clean history or no rollback will require you to drop some major paper. But most ppl dont wanna hear word ![]() Ppl call me sometimes and you try to explain but its kinda more productive to argue with a wall compared to talking to this ppl. Change is gonna come. Optimistic. |
big father:thats how ppl lose $$$ to wonder banks and such. If its really tru, the car will be gone! |
Whats the VIN? Have someone who's interested. |
Baba Carshoppa. Which one now? We want to see you with a bigger swagger. This one was rolled back almost 80k miles At least you know before sh#t hits the fan |
drlokobi7:are u even reading previous posts? |
pdozie:Ok. I will like to know the sizes. Especially the 500 Block machine |
Siena:First of all, the word is speechless ![]() Just baffled me that someone will roll back 61k miles. How do you explain a 2007 car with only 10k miles. Possible? YES! But not likely. At least not in everyday cases. Unless owned by a really old person who just goes back and forth to the store. Like i have said before, 61k miles is still very good. Lots of ppl will jump at it especially if the price is good. And the car is clean too. I would guess its a car of a person that travels a lot on the freeway/expressway. Less wear (even at high miles ) on engine as opposed to city driving. When will this end? Knowing fully well that Monitor 1 will publish the VIN Report ![]() |

^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^ Good to know. The last time i checked, the 760 series (replaced the 750 - V12) engine has been offered in the US since 2003. Just in case you need to brush up. i am sending you a link below from MSN Auto. Read to your heart content. We all learn something new everyday. http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Spec_Glance.aspx?year=2006&make=BMW&model=7-Series&trimid=-1 European cars tend to SOMETIMES be a year ahead in design compared to the US. i.e a new model style can be released in Europe and might not hit the US shores till the following year. This is done in order to get ready for all the US spec and mandated requirement and file all the necessary document with the Dept of Transportation for reviews before a go ahead to import is approved. Even at US "slow" import standard, that tail light design was phased out after 2005.(2006 was new light design). Which means they wont keep running an old design in Germany and send new one to the US first. That is if this car is actually a 2006 and a German model So if you need to know anything about any US spec car and detail, i will be happy to helep u. ![]() |
The rear tail light doesn't particularly jive with a 2006 Model. I hope i am wrong. In that case i will apologize in advance. Nothing personal.Moreso, there's no 745 series in 2006. Only 750 and 760 were offered here in the US ![]()

Monitor_1:I am not sure even if this action warrants any sanction from the Admin, You run the risk of ruining your own credibility. Pure and Simple. Everytime you post a car without proper due diligence, if something comes out to be contrary to your claims, all will be here to see. Then its on you. Your future sale might/will be affected. As far as i am concerned, a 71,000 miles Camry is still a darn great car considering that with proper care it will cruise to 300,000 easily. But rolling back takes a lot more than wish. ITS DELIBRATE AND CALCULATED. All in the name of GREED! I am not blaming you, but your can't wash your hands clean easy either. Good luck. Good sale. |
nuclearboy:Use indoors. Rather than outdoors. ![]() |
Ok. Good to know. i was actually thinking of getting one from the US |
nuclearboy:what is your phone number, i can call u now. Not looking to purchase but will kick around some ideas wt u. |
@ Pdozie, What is the size of the blocks the deekooler machine makes? What is the electricity requirements? 1 or 3 phase? Thanks |
nuclearboy:im confused here. which one makes 500 in 24hrs again? I am not selling the machine. i dont work for the companies either. just sharing info. Thanks |
