underscore:What you have there looks like an European Version. However, if you want a US spec i can help you get one. The US Version is called the Protege 5. It didn't start production until 2002 here in the US. So there is nothing older than 2002. A 2002 Protege 5 will cost you N1.6m to land at your compound in Lagos. This will be a clean car with a clean carfax history. No excuses. No story. My specialty is auction buys. I will source you a very nice one from Madza Auction anytime you are ready. It takes about 4 weeks to Land at your door. Please find a sample of the one that will be auctioning this week. I know you might not like white color. But its just a sample. oblo:In my own opinion, upgrade/complete swap should be left alone to someone who know what the h@#l they are doing. You don't wanna regret down the road in the event that you don't end up with a job well done. Since these are small capacity engines, (though i don't have the figures with me) i am not sure if the difference in petrol mileage will worth taking a gamble on the well being of the car. If you get someone like Siena to do the job though, then that's another story. Otherwise  |

The Helicopters will be finished without paint and other necessary customization. Most of these Helicopters are used for police patrol and news coverage. So the features required and painting will be different. Also, there are various private company/individual like the electric company (used to repair very tall high voltage power lines). Air Conditioning, Leather seats, Custom Audio Systems, Carpeting, Decors, Woodgrain etc are various custom options that can be ordered as per customer specification. That is why it is all completed "Bare-Bone" and finished when the customer orders it.

Growing up, I was privileged to be up close and personal with[size=14pt] late CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO’S[/size] helicopter during his campaign stop in my town in 1979. It was a brick red/Orange Bell Helicopter. As a kid, my imagination can’t stop running since then. How will it be to fly one of these? Pretty cool I can imagine. Owning one will be OUTSTANDING! Thanks to the generosity of the folks at [size=14pt]Robinson Helicopter Company, Torrance, California,[/size] I was able to attend the factory tour today May 27, 2010 to see how the Helicopter is actually made. The production and assembly floor are not allowed to be photographed (for obvious reasons) but we were generously conducted round the facility and we get to see first hand on how these beautiful machines were made. Electrical Dept., Paint, Fabrication, Assembly were covered generously. The Helicopter does not have many parts, however, the attention to detail and strict quality guidelines is mind boggling. 1forall:A vehicle is determined as a "total loss" when the insurance company determined that the cost of fixing a car (lets say if accidented) is greater than the value of the car. Or in another situation, if a vehicle was stolen, it will be declared as a total loss when found. So you really have to inspect the ride to see if the "total loss" declaration is as a result of accident or theft. Theft recovered vehicles can be a good deal especially if nothing is stolen from the vehicle when recovered. Good luck. |
