yuzedo: I remember being approached by a decent looking teenager for N200. He claimed he had misplaced his poor mother's money and looked so morose. Initially wanted to give him the money but decided to prod further. Asked how he lost it, etc. Offered to help beg his mom. He refused vehemently, claiming he had lost so much money recently she promised to disown him if he made that mistake again. By now i suspected the little tramp (i played far worse tricks growing up).. Eventually i asked him to fess up and he "confessed" he used the money to play video game. I looked at this obviously misguided kid and felt i owed it to society to try and rescue him before he became a full-blown thief. He seemed like he came from a decent-enough home. (Mind you, this story is extremely abridged, encounter lasted more than an hour)

Threatened him with death if he dared run ( i was hoping he'd run, i wouldn't have chased and killed him as i threatened), but the young lad wasn't even hardened. I asked he take me to his house and he was begging and crying, promising to turn a new leaf. I didn't budge.

On getting to their "modest" one-bedroom apartment (modest is an overstatement) i met his lovely mother, real beautiful woman you know money woulda fit her. She wondered who the f*ck i was. Explained myself, and the situation. The poor woman was just tired of life. Apparently the boy was doing so badly in school, his siblings were doing very well. He was a complete failure. Herself and husband, both poor teachers were doing every extra possible to provide for them, and their first son was being a damn f00l. His older sisters were mad at him. Revealing all the lies he had fed me and more. I promised to follow up on him for which the mom was very grateful and thankful that i'd take it upon myself to try and correct a lost boy... I mean, it is the entire community that raises a man, not just the parents as is the practice nowadays right?

..Fast forward a year later, i met him on the road and this new man comes to greet me confidently. Ask how he's doing, how's school, etc. He replies great great! Wanted to tip him but decided against it. nevertheless i was proud that my "snitching" had at least saved a soul...

Fast-forward another six months, i was with my girlfriend in the car and parked in an open place only to see this same motherf*cker begging the life out of someone who's car had broken down and was battling with overheating at 8pm, telling the man that he was stranded and needed N50 to get him to Ojota, the man said no problem i will drop you there when i fix my car.. The boy was angry, begging as if it was his entitlement, lying those same old lies he hasn't even bothered to polish after two years. He couldn't see me but i was following the whole scene very well up to the point he trudged off in righteous anger and disappointment.
..... I gave up on humanity that day. Person [b]wey go useless go useless.[/b]

o child is useless it is a useless parent that give birth to a useless child. for real only an exception where the child is charmed.
bringing up a child is a serious business. some parent looks though on their ward but to that child, they are weak. i have experienced a situation where a child stole money from his parent and refused to confess despite punishment and flogging. what i did is to apply a similar approach to the op. took the boy in my car and threaten him that i am taking him to police station to be dealt with and jailed. infact i physiological entrapped the boy to the extent that i did the same thing to people who do such by mentioning different names he did not even know.
well, having drove few metre to a police station, behold he confessed, 14 years old stealing his parent #35,000 . imagine that?
fast forward, the parent were surprised he could confess to me without cane on him
finally i decided to rebuild that child but the parent were not cooperating. what do you say to that? and you know what? the parent are elders of a church

the cars some people bought here is older than them, and for those bragging of a gift as car don't really get the drift.

this is the reason why i didnt take a lady i met online serious despite how much felling i had for her even to date.

your first mistake was to have asked him to pay back your money. i'm sure this is a marriage and that was meant to be your sacrifice for his jobless days.

what you have to do is apologise to him for doing that and involve him in constructive investment talks. it might be, buy a land, change your home, improve your enviroment, save for a business (dont ask him to improve your business, he may think you want to start ripping him) etc, this will reduce his financial wastage strength also dont advice him to buy a car if he does not have one otherwise he will use it to convey those girls around town and add to your sorrow.

after going through everyone' opinion, i feel compelled to contribute on this topic.
@op, your question should include the women/girls who indulge in the cheating act for whatever reason. i am sure some of them are making contribution now. no offence!

i do say this "marriage is a very costly commitement" until evryone understand this concept, then there will be less marital issues especially on cheating.

although cheating is always based on sex, what about financial cheating? some men don't cheat on thier wife sexaully but financially. they enjoy the luxury outside while their home languish in needs. self satisfaction abi that one no be cheating?

my statistic on men cheating is about 99%, which means 9 out of 10 men will definitely cheat on their spouse.
permit me to use my office as a case study.
all the married men in my office cheat or has cheated, but each one has a degree. i was so suprised that my best friend of all people could cheat on his wife and even got the lady in question pregnant. it beats my imagination.

the blame is 70% to women and 30% to men.

why?
1. a woman who cheats on her man before marriage especially with married men will definetly be cheated on.
2. a woman who nags too much will definitely be cheated on.
3. a woman who has no time for her husband will definitely be cheated on.
4. an arrogant/sturborn woman will defintely be cheated on
5. any woman who disregard  her husband wish will be cheated on, for sure
6. any woman that fails to keep herself in shape physically, materially, sexually, socially, spiritually, will also be cheated on. (women always act like delilah. remember samson? pls no explanation
7. any woman that expect their husband to cheat will be have it cos her expectation shall not be cut short.
8. any woman who keeps too many men around her (whether married or single) will be cheated on. the hubby may confess trust but right in his mind; he cannot convince himself that his wife won't cheat with one of them.
9. any woman that cannot communicate with her husband effectively will be cheated on.
10. any woman that fail to keep her husband secret from outsiders will be cheated on.
11. any woman that cannot resolve her family issues without a third party will be cheated on.
12. any woman that fails to take correction from her hubby will be cheated on.
13. a woman that cannot cook will be cheated on.
14. a dirty woman will be cheated on.
15. a woman who monitor her husband movement will be cheated on. (periscopic in nature)
