ImaIma1: This is the funniest thing I've read all day. I don't know why I'm just laughing like a fool! ![]() |
#Freethesheeple leader Daddy Freeze has revealed that the head pastor of House on the Rock church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin is behind his boycott from MC gigs. This, he revealed in a response to an anonymous Instagram troll @andelasmith. Remember that Daddy Freeze recently stated that the church mafia are behind him being blacklisted from MC shows https://www.nairaland.com/4736326/daddy-freeze-attacked-religious-mafia/1#71255380 The comment has been taken deleted but a screenshot was shared by @andelasmith. https://www.instagram.com/p/BoMcZ1NBO2n/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet

Instagram account @Andelasmith has reacted to the post being made about Daddy Freeze being boycotted from MC gigs. The instagram troll asked Daddy Freeze what he was expecting when he decided to talk ill about pastors. I noticed the mixed reactions to Daddy Freeze’s recent comment on him being boycotted for shows for the past 2years after starting the #freethesheeple movement ( https://www.nairaland.com/4736326/daddy-freeze-attacked-religious-mafia)https://www.instagram.com/p/BoJnFJfhtH4/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet https://www.instagram.com/p/BoJnZayhSgG/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet

Hearing on the divorce case of Daddy Freeze’s baby Mama, Benedicta Elechi, resumed in Rivers State High court, Portharcourt Wednesday 23rd of May, 2018. The case was earlier scheduled for hearing on Monday 21st of May, 2018 but court proceedings were suspended due to 3rd anniversary celebrations of Governor Wike's administration in Rivers State. You could recall that Benedicta Elechi and Her estranged husband are in court seeking divorce, in contention are multi-million naira family estate. The hearing was presided over by Her Lordship, Justice Akpughunum. In continuation of cross examination of Benedicta, the defendent Lawyer Wilcox Abereton, SAN, started by observing that Benedicta left prematurely during the last court session (20th of March 2018) probably due to his questions and pleaded for her patience to ask only a few more questions. He asked Benedicta for her guidance on how he should address Daddy Freeze the co-defendant in the case whether as a boyfriend, a husband, or simply father of her son, Abimbola, to which he received a 'No Response' The lawyer further asked Benedicta what her religious views were, especially on such subjects as payment of Tithes, Pastors, etc, having claimed that Daddy Freeze is a pastor. He requested Benedicta to convey his commendation to Freeze for his own views on the subjects. Her Lawyer, B.J. Mondigha, rose in stout objection to the line of questioning claiming that it added no value to the issues before the court and it was sustained by the Judge. The Senior Advocate then asked Benedicta whether it is true or false that as a mother, she should be a role model to her children, to which her answere was in the affirmative. “Would you recommend your conduct in your husband’s house to your daughters “, the SAN probed. Benedicta tried to evade question, compelling SAN to be more explicit: “ "Would you recommend to your daughter to get pregnant for another man in her husband’s house”, putting it to her that he doubts that she would so recommend such a despicable and terrible act to her daughter, having admitted to court earlier that she was pregnant for Daddy Freeze while legally married and living in her husband's house. Benedicta responded that her daughter should be able to decide for herself as an adult. The lawyer then moved on to her business, pointing out that her business Dictachi Foods Nig Ltd seemed to have made a lot of money. Would she put a value to the level of profit she was making. Benedicta admitted that indeed the business was profitable and initially, she made profits of between N4m to N5m on monthly basis, which later grew to about N10m monthly. The Lawyer then said today, she refers to herself as a ‘Celebrity Chef’. Benedicta responded; she is indeed a renowned chef, with a business that is growing. The SAN asked whether she still travels as much as when her husband was funding her trips abroad? She retorted, she funded her trips by paying for the children’s meals, and added however, she no longer travels because of her busy schedule. The Lawyer stated that she put a video of her daughter in the social media for the world to see, asking what consideration for her daughter she had in taking that decision and which normal mother or woman would do that to her daughter. He received a 'No Response'. The lawyer put it to her that she is a bad woman, who rewarded her husband by getting pregnant for another man in his house, despite all her husband did for her, sponsoring her through school, setting up Multi Million Naira business for her, sending the family abroad on vacation including her mother and her niece who he adopted, among many other things. Daddy Freeze who is the co respondent to the husband’s cross petition was absent the 2nd time at the court proceedings. The case was adjourned to 27th of June for further hearing. https://www.instagram.com/p/BjM4x3yBJsR/

The court case involving Daddy Freeze’s Fiancée (Benedicta) and her husband, Paul Odekina resumed on the 20th of March 2018, in Rivers High Court presided over by Justice Akpughunum, with a cross examination of Benedicta. It will be recalled that Benedicta dragged her husband to court in search of dissolution of their marriage. When cross examined by the defendant Lawyer Wilcox Abereton, Benedicta admitted to having an affair with Daddy Freeze and giving birth while legally married. When asked whether she did not know that Freeze was married, she said ' I don't know anything about that. The defendants’ lawyer inquired about the set-up of her multi-million naira business to which she claimed that her contribution was N1.5m which was used to construct the Gate. She claimed that she was abandoned by her husband in 2010 until she was confronted with the evidence & then admitted that her husband sponsored her, her mother, her niece for a vacation to the UK in 2011. She admitted very warm and romantic birthday cards with messages of appreciation to her husband in 2006 & 2008, the years she claimed he did not have sex with her. Benedicta accompanied by her Lawyer B.J. Monsigha denied then later admitted that her husband sponsored a family trip including himself to Disneyland in the US in 2012, claiming that her contribution was paying for the feeding of the children on the trip. Daddy Freeze who is the co respondent to the husband's cross petition was absent at the court proceedings. Case was adjourned to the 21st of May 2018. https://instagram.com/p/Bg34WttlZ34/

So what should we use traveling box for? They didn't see iPhone x to give guests abi? |
Samsimple:It gets to a level that you are almost untouchable. Messi is on that level and worked very hard to get there. So, he can even slap ref and nothing will happen. Until Chelsea players can get to that level, abeg leave the G.O.A.T! |
Handsomecole:Hello sir. Which our own? Or were you told that it was a black man that produced the movie? Don't play the race card here. |
The only reason why I like this woman is that she doesn't act like she deserved whatever came her way. She clearly acknowledges that it's God's doing and not any smartness or anything. Talk to Adenuga and the rest, they'll write worthless books and tell you how their tactical masterclass made them where they are. |
HigherEd:A Sonata?? Lmao! The bishop has no personal car oga. He has a FLEET of cars/suvs/private jets. His son drives a range rover 2016 autobiography. I know his son personally. If you're trying to portray the bishop as a humble person, my friend, that's very hard to prove. He isn't and he is unapologetic for that. I'm not saying it is a bad thing but don't make him seem like someone he's naturally not. |
HigherEd:The bolded, my friend is a big fat lie! Bishop Oyedepo has a massive number of cars. If he buys them is another discussion but the bishop surely drives choice cars. Over the past 10 years that I was a member, he has always driven a different car every 6 months to 1 year. |
My only fear with Messi is that he has decided to play it easy this year because of the world cup. His runs off and on the ball have reduced. He doesn't go all out in tackles anymore. Left to that man, Champions League can go to hell. In as much as we will beat Chelsea at the Nou camp (Because of our pitch size and our fans), Messi's role may not be entirely significant anymore. He has done what he wanted to do; which is to score against Chelsea. The greatest undoing of Chelsea was to concede at Stamford Bridge. Air tight defences aren't entirely effective at the Nou camp. |
I'm sorry I disagree. Unemployment in Nigeria isn't a choice. You mentioned digital jobs. Where do you want our unemployed youth to get the money to buy internet data and do these things?? |
BushWickBill:Spin?? You have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. You see, the problem is, until you experience it, you really don't understand it. To all man his own. |
Yonce:You may be right though. These are clear explanations. You saw it as a movie, very fine. But you mention inferiority complex and that's where I have a problem. Don't be shallow minded. Read the Black Panther comic book and you'll realize it's laced with racism and political issues and had to discontinue at a point. In the movie, there were some jibes at the white people. But of course, I'm making excuses. The black director wrote the script abi? Open your eyes! Do yourself a favor. Read the comments on the movie (even by the whites) and decide for yourself. To you it was a movie. To people who have experienced exact things, it wasn't one. Celebrate a great black civilization? Smh! |
realborn:My brother! Way to go! When we start doing huge things, then we can raise up our heads to speak. That I hope will change soon. |
FarahAideed:Nope I disagree. This isn't a blame game. Racism still exists but it's subtle. Read the Black Panther comics and lets have a discussion. |
realborn:The bolded is 100% right but how can we tell our own stories when we unconsciously regard the whites as being superior? The idea is for the whole black race to wake up. When you are continually fed the same thing daily, you have no option than to believe it as the truth. When I was back home, I couldn't care less but you need to find out what the average black american thinks of Africans. You'll be shocked. We are sitting on a time bomb. The movies are passing across clear cut messages. I have witnessed this first hand and I know what I'm saying. There was absolutely no reason making the Black Panther an African affair. Americans are very smart people and I now understand why most blacks in America have problems despite appearing to have the same privileges as the whites. There is a systematic movement. This isn't about race, it's about belief. A movie isn't just a movie. If it is, we won't have high divorce cases - even in Nigeria. Movies portray weddings as the ultimate fairy tale goal and a happily ever after endings. You won't have someone try to play hero in a robbery scene just because he watched it in the movies. But if you believe its just a movie, you may be right. I enjoyed it as a movie, but the storyline didn't sit too well with me. It was something I had experienced and it was too much of a coincidence. |
Please read this as this gives an entirely different angle to what we Africans think about the Black Panther movie. **Warning** Some spoilers might be spilled here. I'll advice you watch it first before reading this. Being a fan of the Marvel series, I was one of the millions of people who couldn't wait for the movie 'The Black Panther' after seeing his role in Captain America Civil War. For the first time in a very long time, I saw Africans come out in drones to celebrate what was finally an 'African' movie in the Marvel movie series. By all means it was (or seemed). The accent, the music, the 'characters'. It wasn't your typical Hollywood African movie which most of the time is subtly laced with white superiority. This was an AFRICAN AFFAIR. I saw how Africans owned it with so much pride by wearing their native attires to the movie theatres (which by the way made me very proud of Africa). I decided to watch the movie and half way into the movie (of course, basking in extreme excitement), a phrase struck me. If you have watched this movie, you probably heard a lady say this phrase 'Well, you should have come back for us'. Now let's rewind a bit... Being in the United States for a couple of months, I got talking with a group of black american ladies and they strongly held the opinion that we Africans do not like them and we feel superior to them. I asked why. And one of them said this exact phrase ' you should have come back for us when we were suffering'. The response was that we Africans never came back for them while they were suffering as slaves to the white man. Of course I denied the bogus claims but they held strongly to them. I started looking for answers and I realized that the black-americans are taught these at their schools as part of history. So what this means is that we Africans have been positioned as the people who made the black americans continue in slavery for a long time. There's a subtle dissemination of hate-induced information passed across to the black americans about Africans. Guess who's at the fore front of it? The White Man. Back to the movie. As soon as I heard that phrase, the way I viewed the movie onwords changed instantly. I started noticing the way in which we are being fed the wrong information which continually makes us stand divided as Africans. Here are the things I noticed about the movie; They tried to tell us that we Africans are the major cause of our problems and that's why we remain where we are. Internal crisis, lust for power and lack of unity. Let me explain. 1. When the Black Panther was to be crowned king, he was objected by the leader of another tribe who accused him of being weak. The Black Panther had to fight that leader - even though he was the rightful heir to the throne. (Internal crisis and lust for power) 2. Just when I thought the white guy (the thief) was going to be the 'bad guy', I quickly realized that it was a black american, who felt he had been wrongly treated and his father murdered by his uncle (the king) and worked so hard so that he wanted to rule (Another show of internal crisis, greed and lust for power). Now this is the most important. This scene just mirrored what the black americans think of us in real life. Trust me, I have talked with a lot of them. They believe they are smarter, better and are supposed to rule Africa. The seed of hatred is being planted in their minds from school. 3. The very close friend of the King and Protector of the borders turned his back on and attacked the Black Panther when there was a new king. (Another show of disloyalty and lack of unity). Now what the whites are trying to tell you is this; We are not to be blamed for the woes you face in Africa, you are to be blamed. Which is mostly true but it's all in a bid to perpetually make Africans hate themselves. Now, another angle to the movie is the fact that there was vibranium (a very rare and technologically advanced substance) in Africa, but the leaders won't share to the rest of the world - which will benefit them economically but rather they masked their resources with abject poverty and continued to make themselves look like a third world country to the whole world . The excuse from the African leaders being that it'll destroy the whole world if the resources are used to make weapons. A show of greed and lack of intelligence if you ask me. Why do you think an average American will die for his country? Simple! Have you watched the U.S Military films. Most of them will make you shed a tear and show you how far the U.S army will go for their citizens. It's a subtle way to tell you how important an American is. This they do through movies. The whites did very well in taking themselves off the picture in this movie, but I can bet anything on it that it was deliberate. The major threat to the white dominance and supremacy in this world is the total UNITY OF THE BLACK RACE. They know this and they are moving to stop this asap. So this is why we shouldn't get overly excited about it. It's not an African movie. The producers are all white. We are playing into their hands. They are feeding us the wrong information. Stop the orchestrated dances, attires and African pride and ownership to the movie. They got you where they want to and are making so much money off you. I bet they are all sitting down looking at us and laughing their butts off. Not taking anything away from the movie, it's a super movie. I think it's one of the best Marvel movies I've watched so far. A lot of people will think it's over-hyped because there weren't many fight scenes as we expected but I can tell you this; this was orchestrated to give you a background story as to why we Africans are the way we are. Nothing less! Be wise! Mynd44, lalasticlala

Yankee101:Ok thank you sir. What has that got to do with the discussion at hand? ![]() |
Yankee101:Before you try to sound like an authority here, digest my comments first. I know you don't need documents to get a visa. And who says through school is the only way to get a visa? I have not been lied to. I have heard of people who did it and succeeded. I'm not here to spoil business for you. I'm just stating the obvious. Do you know how many interviews the guys at the U.S Embassy have every day? If they had the time to cross check every single piece of paper that comes their way, do you think they can meet up? They are well trained but people scale through steadily. Stop discouraging people. If you want to keep claiming local champion in this sh!thole, that's your problem. |
Yankee101:I'm sorry but you are wrong. That 'most likely' you referred to, is a large percentage of people who have scaled through. Seeing is believing. People have seen their fellow brothers and sisters use fake documents to gain a visa into the U.S. That explains why they still try it. If it doesn't work, people won't try it For your 150k breeding goats and what have you. How many goats do you have now? What happens if a plague or erosion wipes off all the animals or crops? Or betterstill, what if they are all stolen by thieves and 'herdsmen'? Which is very possible in this our modern Nigeria that we live in. Nigerians aren't the only people moving to the United States. The U.S is not called the land of opportunities for nothing. It's only in the U.S that I've seen migrants become millionaires. Some states and employees in the U.S even encourage migrants because it's cheap labour. It's a risk but it's a risk worth taking if you want to live a decent life. Instead of blaming them, blame your leaders for a job poorly done. |
maasoap:This to me sounds like a contradiction. You compare marketing strategies of two brands in the same industry and then you say you aren't comparing them? For you to say they should learn from Tecno and Infinix, you are telling me that in terms of marketing you are already comparing them. I honestly break it to you, in terms of marketing, customer experience and service, financials, device usability and functionality and global awareness and positioning, they can NEVER be compared. Heck! Blackberry can't be compared to Tecno but they have gone under. Huawei hasn't broken even into the Nigerian market but they are 3rd in the world in terms of sales. When you play on the global scale, tens and hundreds aren't discussed. Much much larger numbers, stakes and markets are discussed. Please never tell a lion to learn how to hunt from a cat just because they are in the same family. In conclusion, there are bigger things of worry to HTC than 'learning' from a minute brand like Tecno and Infinix. |
Yankee101:Oga it works. And be truthful and realistic. Big companies are folding up in Nigeria, so it's the small ones that will succeed? How much is minimum wage in Nigeria? 18,000 per month. Minimum wage in U.S is 7 dollars per hour (245 naira per hour). Even if they take all their taxes, you are still better of. The U.S economy isn't in a recession. Nigeria is. You think people just like leaving their country? Nigeria doesn't work! People need to make money and live a better life. Your country isn't giving that. |
Acidosis:But hello sir, why did you reply him nah? You should have allowed me to do it. Tecno and Infinix?? Spits! It's like Facebook is talking and Nairaland is opening its mouth. HTC remains one of the most durable phones in the world. I used my HTC without a pouch for 3 years and I'm extremely careless with phones. Tecno that cannot roam. There's absolutely NOTHING HTC can learn from Tecno. They are not mates. |
iphanyi10:The bolded is the sole reason why MESSI is miles ahead of the rest. Sometimes you don't need to be a showman, you need to be s sports man. Neymar from the first minute held on to the ball unnecessarily. He's pure class but he isn't harnessing his talents well. The PSG coach - Buffoon. Very inexperienced. Should be sacked immediately. Neymar - Though looked lively, cost his team attack countless times. PSG, trying to play like Barcelona without the right players. Neymar not shaking anybody hands isn't a crime but it also isn't sportsmanlike. Football is a sport and should be treated that way. The least you do is to appreciate your fans. They travel miles to watch you play. Without them, there won't be football. |
STILESGANG:What influence?? True, Neymar is the third best after Messi and Ronaldo but that lad needs to improve. PSG dominated the Ligue 1 without him and there's no difference with him there. Neymar's style of football disturbs the attack. He's too concerned about being a show-man than having his team win games. I'm a Barcelona fan and I was extremely happy when he left Barca. In as much as Cavani is over-rated, he could have posed a greater threat if Neymar could just act professionally and not think the cameras are fixated on him everytime. As proud as Ronaldo is, he's being professional about his team winning. That's all that matters. |
niggi4life:My point is, don't make it seem like his arrogance is the problem. Mourinho's arrogance was backed up by results. That was why every club wanted him - knowing how proud he was. Now that he has been humble, where are the trophies? I'm no fan of Mourinho but Sometimes, you need a little bit of arrogance and discipline to achieve some results. |
niggi4life:And Mourinho is what?? |
HajimeSaito:Yes!! She ABSOLUTELY has to marry him. If you are a Christian, you'll understand that when someone can lay down his life for another, that's unconditional love and must be reciprocated. You must love the person back. Jesus laid down His life for us because he loved us and without Him we would be dead. Who are we not to love him? ![]() |
