All I can say is the Bible was/is not meant for feminists. Why? Cause you would always see something demeaning if you look at it from the feminist point of view: how come 66 books and no woman wrote even one, why does it say women should submit to their husband's etc.
The truth is that the bible celebrates womanhood. There are countless examples of strong women in both the old and the new testament but the doctrine is that the woman is and would always be under the man. That is the order of God's kingdom and it's the bitter truth.
Ask yourself this, how come the women in the Bible never blessed the sons? Because they don't have the authority to. Which is why Abraham not Sarah blessed Isaac, and Isaac's wife had to trick him into blessing Jacob thinking he was blessing Esau and so on.
The man is the head, a woman must support her husband and is not equal to him although there are women who are/will be greater than men. The difference is the Bible does not dispute this fact, but celebrates such.
