akpamuomenka: The picture is not childish but the title is. No tribe will give you this just for knocking of the door but if you feel that you're well loaded, you can do this no wahala, you can even add one cow, they will still accept it.
A friend of mine bought times 5 of every item on the list given to him for knocking of the other but in my own case, I negotiated my way through. so you know so much about over 250 tribes in Nigeria ....oya clapp for yourself |

Afam4eva: My mother was born in Lagos but only understands, WA (come) and Oloribu. So, it's not just staying so long in a place but making a conscious effort to learn a language. You've not been able to learn Igbo because you've not made an effort to integrate properly and learn it.
Btw, where are you from? middle belt |
Culture › Re: Which is Easiest To Learn: Hausa, Igbo Or Yoruba? by kuuljay(m): 10:18am On Jul 16, 2017 |
Afam4eva: Exactly. They're comparing an Igbo person who learned Yoruba in Lagos to a Yoruba person who wants to learn Igbo from an Igbo person also in Lagos. If you want to learn Igbo effectively, go to Igboland. spent 7 years in Lagos 1994 to 2000 I can speak Yoruba very well, then I spent 6 years as an undergraduate in Zaria I can speak Hausa well, right now I have spent five years in Enugu and I can't speak no sh!t,mind you 95%communication in Enugu is Igbo. Even Chinese I believe is easier than igbo.I don give up tey! tey!! And any arshole who asks me why I can't speak after five years I be like

Culture › Re: Knocking Of Door For Traditional Marriage by kuuljay(op): 9:55am On Jul 16, 2017 |
akpamuomenka: Marriage has no fixed price and all the items on the list are negotiable. If you appear like a huge spender, your potential in-laws will milk you but if you appear like a struggling guy, they will also treat you the same. Sit down with your potential in-laws and tell them what you can offer, you can go with two elders from your side that understands tradition very well. Stop bn childish for marriage is for matured mind is the picture childish? Or it simply touched a nerve |

To take 30k job is not the problem, the problem is planning your life with it after my youth service in 2008 I stayed at home for six months no job, until one woman who is a friend asked if I can work in a ministry with no salary but little change ( money) here and there instead of staying at home,I agreed went there got to the directors office,he looked at me and told me I would have to be sure I don't complain of money I told him I can manage.after a few months I was making more than 100k every week, got connection that gave me my present job. |

I love how you southerners are experts at twisting things to make yourselves feel good. I bet if Blair had landed in some southern city, y'all would have been all over nairaland telling us that the west identifies with the South because y'all are some sort of educationally advanced progressives.
Anything to make yourself feel good, buddy what do you mean southerners, you mean the guys who are contributing money to have lunch with Trump? |

greatiyk4u: Buhari is the only bulldozer that can demolish corruption and corrupt persons in Nigeria but, alas! Sickness no let the man be
Truly better things hardly last
However,
I laughed when some groups of self acclaimed IPOB loyalist were celebrating Makarfi's victory at New Berries Bar in Enugu yesterday
I was afraid of asking them if election will now hold since their darling prefered PDP chair has been handed over to whom they admire (another Northerner) because they were paying for the ORIJI and Nkwobi combo that I was enjoying while rejoicing (not from heart) with them
God please bring Buhari back because Nigeri needs him more than any thing now I was there too the thing weak me,I had never been confused that much in my life last night...come see die hard biafrans declaring free beer I was like am I dreaming

Hati13: If a river is international river(a river that pass more than one country), then you can't block it. The international law prohibit it.
You can build a Dam, but the Dam is prohibited by international law from blocking all the water from reaching other countries.
Peace! there are international laws scattered everywhere the questions to answer is if there are mechanisms on ground to enforce such laws,if no then there is no law,use of international waters rests on negotiations and that's all about it,if a river passes through five countries and all five decides to build dams within their territory no one can stop them, the last country may be left with little or nothing |

Which dam? ehn? stop selling to them, when they overflow the dam, sanction them. sell something else not what you do not have in abundance. doesn't work that way bro, just google Ethiopia and Egypt tussle over Nile and educate yourself, nobody owns a river,na the one wet pass inside your land be your own,you can even block it if you have the means Eno concern anybody |
