Firstly, S84(1) of the Electoral Act 2022:
A political party seeking to nominate candidates for election under this Act shall hold primaries for aspirants to all elective positions which shall be monitored by the Commission. They have been quoting Section 82 without quoting Section 84.

Shall is mandatory. (Black's Law Dictionary)

Let me give you a rundown; the venue of the Primary was not contested either by the factions or the NWC. The NWC simply set andate and told them to kill themselves.

When materials arrived at the airport, there was some scuffle, so the DSS & Police took custody of the materials whilst INEC was at Sheergrace Arena.

Around 10:30pm, the APC Electoral Committee Chairman called the INEC REC, who was still with the police at the venue and told him the elections will hold at a later day as all parties have agreed with the Police it will be shifted and that he is traumatised by what happened with the attack and all that. The REC and INEC went home to see results the next morning.

INEC announced this in April that any Primary they don't monitor would not have their Candidates on the ballot. The issue is not who announced the results but was the Primary monitored by the Umpire? At no time did they counter the Sheergrace Arena ooooo or even informed INEC of a Change of Venue.

So, you be the judge?
You see, its over for APC AKS, they should focus on other things abeg

They didnt mess up.igini is on a vendetta against akpabio.section 82 says a party shall inform inec about primaries but inec may or may not monitor or supervise.notification of inec is compulsory, attendance is not...moreover,the final decision lays with abuja inec or the courts not igini...

(1) Every registered political party shall give the Commission at least 21 days’ notice of any convention, congress, conference or meeting convened for the purpose of
“merger” and electing members of its executive committees, other governing bodies
or nominating candidates for any of the elective offices specified under this Act.

(2) The Commission may, with or without prior notice to the political party attend and observe any convention, congress, conference or meeting which is convened by a political party for the purpose of-
(a) electing members of its executive committees or other governing bodies;
(b) nominating candidates for an election at any level; and
(c) approving a merger with any other registered political party
But inec honoured the invitation and met nobody, then to them, no primary took place

Answer these questions:

1. Whose responsibility is it to conduct Primary, State Chairman or NWC?

2. The correspondence between INEC and the forthcoming Primary is between INEC & who? State Chairman or National Chairman?

3. Is INEC monitoring the Primary a statutory responsibility? Yes/No

4. What happens when INEC doesn't monitor the Primary of any Political Party?

5. When the APC Electoral Committee Chairman, Ajibulu and the INEC REC allegedly spoke same night, what was the details of their conversation?

6. If we assume, but not conceding that Ekanem gave the address, what was the address given by the APC NWC?

7. Was the address communicated to INEC?

8. Did INEC monitor the Primaries?

In Nigeria politically the only thing noble is going for a rewarding cause, which is what most of them don't understand yet..
I'm sure no matter the outcome of this election they'll learn, either they're on the winning side or the losing side.
I know they must learn.
I think they've, the recent activities of their political leaders shows they are up for it, they just need to build bridge and make alliance with people outside Igbo land

Here in Kebbi state is it in BK or Zuru, even the only Igbo man in Gwandu is a joy giver, There's no way you'll come in contact with an Igbo person and you won't leave happily(my experience) , even when I encounter Igbos in Zamfara I'm always excited.
I love Igbos and it saddens me some of the bad choices they're making, I want them to experience Happiness and safety and only through collective smart decisions can they do that...

I just pray the ohaneze makes the right call for them
I don't think its bad choices, I see it as people that knows what they want and they won't compromise to get it, which is noble...
I love dem, though some for here dey see me as their enemy, because I dey attack dem, and dey thing be say I dey attack everybody, Yoruba, Igbo and Fulani, only Hausa people I never attack for here...

Each time in the history of Nigeria when a punching bag is required, Igbos will always offer themselves up.

I don't know if this is a curse, or just shortsightedness or mere coincidence.

1) pre-coup the west was experiencing a terrorist crisis ( almost similar to what UGM is doing) Nzeogu and friends offered themselves up to be used as punching bags.

2) Abacha VS Abiola, Nzeribe offered himself to be used

3) Jonathan vs Northern cabal, Igbos offered themselves again

4) Tinubu VS Atiku, the delusional Peter Obi presented himself again. instead of Igbos to do the same thing Yorubas always do in any South VS North affair (which is side with the north) they're wasting their time and energy on a fruitless endeavor.

Tinubu and His SWAGA companions would never Dare attack an Northern aspirant, point one Tinubu Supporter attacking Kwankwaso or Atiku.

Peter Obi and Igbos will always be targeted by Tinubuists and SWAGA, If one is following this election online it'll seem like the election is Between Peter Obi/Igbos VS Yoruba/Tinubu.

This is the time Igbos should Take the back seat and just Enjoy the ride, If Peter Obi drops out of the race today.
YOU'LL see the Yorubas will have nothing to campaign with or against, even the northerners that are Political are not Attacking Atiku and his major party, every Ammunition is targeted at Peter Obi and Igbos.

Igbos have Sense, Tell Peter Obi to drop out, the single thing that can bring all Nigerians together is to be Anti-Igbo don't help them strengthen that Anti-Igbo Unity for another 8years, Support Atiku or Tinubu, choose one side, don't allow Peter Obi to run.
Though I get one small problem with the Igbo people(their bride price too high), but damn those guys are selfless, they are true friends
Personal story:
When I was to graduate back then in school, my result was held, that I embezzled the department money, though it was a smokescreen to the religious war in my department, my cabinet(I was the department president) have more Yoruba than Igbo. We had a meeting and if you see the support I garner from all sides but when the battle got intense, I was left just with the Igbos even the ones that are not excos where agitating more than me sef grin it was the Igbo people with my secretary general, who was an igede dude that fought by me to victory, they were with me and supported me, in every way possible.
I won't forget these words "Presido no worry, if you no graduate nobody go graduate for this department "
In case you want to verify this story connect with my boss proudlyngwa, he was in the sideline far away from Kaduna to provide intellectual support, on how to go about it.

So you see Igbo people, are just nice guys, but dem sabi complain for Africa, kai

With Tinubu and a Muslim VP, we will be overrun in the middle Belt.

Imagine a security council meeting with President and VP as Muslims and the Fulani terrorists with their expansionism doing their thing with reckless abandon.

As a Peter Obi die hard guy, I would have voted PYO if he got the ticket just because of the survival instincts in me, and he would have cleared the election.

But he would have been a huge stumbling block to their agenda, that’s why they fell back on Lawan and when that did not work, the settled for a Yoruba Muslim, on the condition of having a Muslim VP who will monitor him closely.
Benue will be overrun, the only northern state that's all Christian, omo e go hot for us
