EnkayDezign:Well guess you're right! Though I do seem to remember certificates being issued on completion of some informal courses/training. Think I even got one back in the day for one control valve training I went for. It would however still have been considered a feat though, if he spoke plainly and said, "I have a leadership certification from Harvard U". That way, even if they discovered it was a 1-2 week course, everything would still check out, cause I'm sure some sort of certification would have been issued upon completion. |
K after laughing, I must be somewhat fair to dino. Harvard confirmed he actually finished a leadership course there, so in a way, he did graduate from Harvard. Everyone tries to market themselves well and I think that's what he was trying to do. He didn't lie, he just didn't state specifics. Would have been different if he claimed to possess a bachelor's degree or something else equally as specific. |
Woke up thinking of my days hustle This shhh up there was like my coffee as I am fully alert now, after almost having died of laughter ![]() Thanks op. |
Eastwalk:Not the bridge itself, but all this commissioning brouhaha Why the loud noise ![]() Still like Ambo though |
GAZZUZZ:Toyota avensis 10 In all fairness though, my new Lebanese mechanic is quite good, but truth be told, the car had been kazeemed so much before him. But even my brothers Camry that hadn't been kazeemed still gives him issues from time to time, like ac, shocks and the rest. There are just too many systems in cars for something not to go wrong - Cooling system, HVAC system, tranny, computers and wiring... |
bettercreature:If this was the U.S, then I'd change my car every two years with the leasing option. All this stress is just not worth it. You are very lucky having a car that hasn't given you issues at all. With that said though, expect them, unless you're extremely lucky. Now a days that all these cars use numerous sensors and computers, its just a ssshit storm, I tell u. Now my ac pressure sensor has shorted out to voltage and my blower motor is working intermittently. Thinking of buying bmx bicycle sha |
newyorks:Even with maintenance shhhhhit still goes down, literally. Ever heard of rats? Especially Lagos big rats. Pray they don't take their dinner to your engine bay, then proceed to make your wires and harnesses desert. |
Driving down the road, enjoying chilled ac, then all of a sudden, hot air $$$You look and see that your tyre's are worn out, sigh, time for new ones $$$The button on the dash has stopped working, can u say nightmare in tracing those wires $$$Oh really? The radio has stopped working? Is okay $$$Now the engine is misfiring, oh God Noooo $$$My car is vibrating, engine mounts? Sigh ![]() Just blew a radiator buddy $$$Park my car and see black stuff coming out from underneath what the hell is that? Sigh $$$When passing by, everyone knows its you cause of the squealing of your belt $$$Oh, so you mean this window that was working just now won't roll up? Is all good $$$Car won't shift into gear, transmission? Don't say transmission please ... Gosh, beginning to hate cars men ![]()

JustinSlayer69:you want to know stupidity Look in the mirror, but please don't attack what you see ![]() https://i.imgur.com/NNGBj.gif |
JustinSlayer69:I tried to wade through the insults in your reply to find a point and believe me, it was difficult. Almost like going through sewage, just to find a pig, mtcheew ![]() So I hope everyone can see his "brilliant" point That Ali was specific about cars Sooo, all other imported items don't matter to Ali right? It's just cars. I hope you all can see the daftness that exists in this country, tufiakwa ![]() |
JustinSlayer69:Ah, one of the dunces is still online. Lemme engage him ![]() Mr Justin, is it only cars that are imported ![]() So why are they only focusing on cars ![]() What about the air conditioner in your room, have you paid custom duty for it, just incase Panasonic or whoever you bought it from didn't pay ![]() Answer my question if indeed you are a man born of a woman ![]() |
DocHMD:Guy see ehn, the only reason I'm upset with you is that you didn't defend your position adequately. You should have asked your detractors if its only cars that are imported. Just ask the ediots, is it only cars that are imported Watch them fumble from pillar to post, stupidly searching for a reasonable comeback.Ask them if they have paid duty on their air conditioner in their rooms. Dunces. |
omenkaLives:so, what is the point in showing 2016 pictures and branding them as 2017 post medical vacation pictures ![]() will APC rule by propaganda forever? haba ![]() |

DaudaAbu:Shut ur dirty mouth up. Have u paid additional custom duty for the spaghetti you bought from shoprite Better hurry up and go pay, dunce!!! |
erico2k2:Help me tell dem abeg. So consumer has to worry about import duty now? Chai! |
helpee:Don't indeed these ediots, they make be soo sick. All these same ediots will go to shoprite to buy imported spaghetti, rice, milk, plates, glasses, blenders, microwaves... Do these ediots also then pay additional custom duties after checking out from shoprite Or is shoprite not suppose to have already paid all required fees Do u see the level of dementia present in this hopeless ediots, Chai, what is wrong with this country So after buy spaghetti from shoprite for N1, 000, these ediots should call Ali now, so that they can pay additional N500 custom duty on the spaghetti before in enter pot. DAFT, DAFT, DAFT Why are some Nigerians just soooo daft? My goodness Is it only cars that are imported ![]() |
Will they stop people wearing Gucci to ask them for their clearing papers? Why only cars? Oh, I understand, because you can easily pull cars over on the road to harass them bah? Because you stand a lot more to gain from harassing car owners for duty than the peanuts from Gucci loafers bah Do we make panasonic abi LG air conditioner So why are they not going from house to house to check for air conditioner duty Anybody that supports this policy is highly demented, awon dem omenkalives and other shhhit eaters with their smelling mouths, mtcheew. Shey na only car dey enter naija bah Morons |
Only in Nigeria, smh ![]() Oni, oba, chief, king, sheik, emir... ... All operating in the same country, along with, Local, state and federal governments smh for such a confused nation, sigh ![]() |
Only in Nigeria, smh ![]() Oni, oba, chief, king, sheik, emir... ... All operating in the same country, along with, Local, state and federal governments smh for such a confused nation, sigh ![]() |
As someone asked, why is it just cars that these guys are focusing on Isnt import duty by definition, duty on imported products ![]() Do you mean to tell me that Nigeria now produces iPhones, androids, fans, air conditioners, computers, laptops, printers, battery banks, batteries, inverters, light bulbs, blenders, irons, washing machines, hair dryers.... ![]() ![]() So why not stop and ask random people for their import duties per each imported item they have on them "hey, oga stop der, dis ur lu button, shebe dem dey make am for naija ni? wey ur import duty? " This is all so senseless to me. Show me a society where the average consumer has to worry about import duty. Nigeria is just a weird place man. |
nextprince:Lol, okay, let's calm down sha! Do you drink Orijin Bros, those documents should be all encompassing in a sense. For a car to be registered, it must have had a clean title with all relevant fees and taxes paid. That's what I mean. You and I both know that we often fix problems haphazardly in Nigeria, take for example simple census. Every administration always comes with new modes of census, national ids, national this and that, yet we can't still account for just how many Nigerians actually exist. Let customs sanitize their agency and let there be synergy between them and car reg agency (frsc) as well. |
youngalex:God bless you too yo! See someone already attempting a reasonable solution. My take is that, this should all be tied to vehicle registration. I mean, how can an illegal vehicle be registered This country defies common sense, I tell you. |
