doctokwus:So u proffered to hire a former dictator for the top most post in a democracy. U sir are the definition of daft |
Deseo:Maybe after soldiers have brutalised you, beaten your eye out, in front of your peers and family, then maybe when you bring your issue to social media, we can comment on how your purse doesn't match your shoe, mtcheew ![]() |
cummando:So me that saw some soldiers at night and said hello, I was forming ba ![]() |
Chiomenwa:I said I was almost beaten up for saying hello. Don't matter how u dress, when u encounter the crazy ones, they'll find a way to tasi u and beat u up. How can I simple say hello to u and u are ready to start beating someone |
Deseo:Nigerians are mostly sadistic and idiotic |
sababa:What exactly are u saying What about me that was almost beaten up simply for saying "hello" What about the guy that was beaten up by female soldiers cause he told one of them that she is beautiful Most of u guys are insane and in all reality, soldiers should have zero power over civilians in a democracy. |
...and one guy like this that I thought was my friend, wanted me to sign up with huge amounts. Told the guy, okay, so I'll do with 10k, just to appease him and leave in peace. However, the dude said, I should join with 500k or 1 mila That is the last day I saw that guy, true story ![]() U want me to join a scheme, yet you don't want me to do any research about it and u don't even want me to start small. All he was seeing was probably referral bonus. He was looking at me like one big piece of meat, chai ![]() |
pressplay411:twice would even be nice I foresee this being an annual scam, as people would already know it's a scam, but still play to try to stay ahead of the curve; almost like playing the lottery. The difference between this and the lottery however, is the magnitude of the lost "capital". Lottery capital is usually small (negligible) in relation to the expected gains, for instance, you buy a 1k lottery ticket and you stand a chance to win N1,000,000. The capital for ponzi schemes however, has to be larger in relation to the expected gains, as expected gains are typically a certain percentage of the capital, so obviously there is much more to lose here. I have a feeling that most Nigerians like to be scammed, or like to suffer, or adapt to suffering rather too quickly... Just look at past presidents of this country, OBJ, GEJ, YARADUA and dare I say, the fossil himself, BUHARI. Just look at the track record!!! Leaving behind reputable candidates from smaller parties, to cast votes for people that can barely even construct sentences properly. They always have an excuse to fall for a scam, like, "Oh, but English is not our mother tongue", yet they neglect all the glaring facts. Facts such as Politicians needing certificates in order to be elected, which in turn leads to the FACT that said Politicians must have been taught English lessons in both Primary and Secondary schools, the University and hopefully, carried on to progress further in the language throughout their adult life. Yet, they'd say, "but English is not our mother tongue na!" anywho, i rant, sigh ![]() |
wahabian:So why must there be attached 30% in such a "wonderful helping" scheme ![]() ...you guys make too many assumptions, so someone that GH of 2 million naira, is that person a barber or cobbler too ![]() what about the guiders what about chuddy and his 4 billion naira GH guess shoe making must be really paying off huh![]() ___________ truth be told, if you want to properly execute what you are saying, there would: A) be no outrageous "guaranteed" profits and bonuses paid out just for "helping". B) be a system in place, whereby potential investors can invest in up and coming businesses, choosing from an array of options, like your up and coming cobbler, programmer... then the potential investor would need to perform his/her due diligence, while the both parties agree on a profit sharing formula through the system. both of which mmm is not. something tells me you already know it's a ponzi scheme though, but you just don't care or are simply arguing for argument sake. |
Deetosin:soooo we had to be alive to know what happened in 1983 ![]() I thought that's what history is for, no ![]() zombie ![]() |

KINGROLAND1:don't mind them, they'll never answer all these questions even I was ready to give buhari a shot when he first started, for the love of country, but the hypocrisy was/is just too much -nothing like subsidy, then you remove same non existent subsidy -petrol at 145 hurt me the second most as i used to leisure drive on weekend mornings to clear my head, enjoy the scenery and just think. now it's straight to work, straight back home. -dollar one is just pathetic, like absolutely pathetic. yet they were blasting the prev gov when dollar was 226, can u imagine that shhh now, people can hardly afford things like electronics, phones, games... before someone comes to tell me rubbish like we "but we can produce these things" please save it!!! So if we can produce them, what is stopping us why can't we use this great phantom production capability of ours to further earn forex and crash the dollar exchange rate down to N200 per dollar![]() since i don't want to be a hateful critic, i'll still give him a chance to move the ship back on track, but not hopeful at all. |
Ahmedhussain3463:a "proved" terrorist ![]() illiterate, mtcheew ![]() |
LorDBolton:so in essence, to summarize, to be concise, to dumb it down... what you're saying is that: coup is okay as long as you succeed ![]() chai ![]() |
compare and contrast, coup plotter vs terrorist, now tell me again that a man using microphone is a terrorist, nonsense ![]() |
willibounce1:just because one isn't bold enough to take action, doesn't mean he/she shouldn't support one who is indeed bold enough to take the needed action. didn't Jesus die for our sins how many of you can die for your family sef![]() |
...and when they asked "hero" buhari why he planned coup, he said it was to save Nigeria, chai ![]() so pesin wey carry gun execute coup, dey tell pesin wey use microphone as in weapon, say because in use microphone, in be terrorist. but d pesin wey carry ak47 na "hero" ba ![]() ![]() |
didn't buhari plan coup Yes or No ![]() someone answer me please. which is better, executing a coup or talking on the radio ![]() your hero buhari planned coup yes or no ![]() |
...but didn't Buhari commit treasonable felony ![]() or is it okay if I carry gun to Aso Rock right now, claiming "savior" ![]() buhari executed a coup and should have been jailed long ago. it's not too late though |
ammyluv2002:of course what ![]() I guess Turkey citizens must have been saying the same thing years ago, like, "no way! Turkey can NEVER EVER be islamized", but what do we have today ![]() |
AntiWailer:See dis one ![]() what do you have to say about this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/3556546/hisbah-seizes-musical-instruments-used how can you say Nigeria can't be islamized, when up North, musical instruments are already being seized under the so called sharia ![]() please think deeply, unless you have ulterior motives ![]() |
I'm just thinking to myself like, so because deisel truck had an accident, that means the product now belongs to the public ![]() just a thought though, like if a truck carrying cows had an accident, I guess people would be trooping in to scoop up cows. no one is thinking of the huge loss to the company, the health of the driver... wonder what would have happened if the driver was trying to stop them from scooping what is rightfully not theirs, wonder how they'd have treated him. just thinking out loud. |
DuchessR:Thanks duchess, you too. Thanks a bunch for your contributions on this topic. Maybe we can continue this tomorrow as I need to get to bed, so i can get up early. Thanks also eph12 for insights into MMM. Hopefully we can continue this back and forth and all be enlightened in one way or the other. cheers! |
DuchessR:I did take the maximum contribution into consideration when I said Bill Gates could go through his associates as well, meaning if the max you can PH is say 10 million naira for instance, then he could have associates of his each put in 10 million naira of HIS MONEY. I hope you know that we do have small banks and small insurance companies in existence right? Not every bank is as huge as Bank of America per say. A business has to cut it's coat according to it's size and there would obviously be a minimum threshold of the amount of customers needed to first keep a business in existence and then to turn a profit. The question is, can a bank be sustained without new customers? Abosolutely yes! As long as they have passed their min threshold for no of customers needed to stay afloat. New customers at that point would simply equate to more profits and maybe more branches and more, more, more... but again, as said above, new customers would not be needed to keep the bank afloat as long as they have a min no of customers to stay afloat. Again, same can't be said about MMM as my model has proved that within a closed loop of "investors", a crash is imminent. |
eph12:MMM is strictly a game of Numbers, numbers in and numbers out. There is no will power consideration, no fatigue consideration, no game plan consideration, no skill level consideration, no home/away motivational consideration, no injury consideration... just numbers in and numbers out and again, numbers don't lie. Time is not a variant here as it pertains to the overall outcome of the numbers, time doesn't affect the numbers in anyway other than to be used as a tactic. Case in point, you say the GH was greater than PH this December, correct? Again, numbers not lying. However to stall in order to postpone the inevitable or get more PH in the system, time was used as a variant. So as you can clearly see, time played no role in GH exceeding PH this December (hence wasn't a variant in reaching this critical point), it was only a variant used in stalling. Time can never affect the eventual outcome of MMM, but can be used in creating an illusion of MMM being "long lasting". |
eph12:They say "Men lie, Women lie, Numbers don't". Not that I'm calling you a liar in this civil debate we are having, no, what I'm saying it that the numbers never lie, hence the clear model. As I said earlier to duchessr, time is not a variant here, only numbers. btw, Football/Soccer is not a game of numbers, else every soccer gambler on the planet would be a millionaire in each of their respective currencies, by just doing some addition and subtraction. |
DuchessR:Did you mean to say GH can't exceed PH? cause if you really mean't PH can't exceed GH, then that would really be a fallacy as Bill Gates could come tomorrow providing help of a billion dollars, OR the maximum allowed over and over either himself or with his associates. Good point about businesses needing new customers to grow. On that point we totally agree, I'm so with you there! However... However, two things to note: 1.) According to the response from the eph12, no new participants are needed in MMM if PH-ing and GH-ing continues by old participants. My model was designed to shed some light on that scenario, not saying that new participants aren't needed. 2.)Yes, new customers are needed for a business to grow, but does a business always require new customers daily/weekly/monthly to turn a profit? For example, say you setup a brand new GYM and in your first 2 months, you only managed to pull in 20 customers, that may not be enough for you to turn a profit. If you however were able to get 2,000 loyal customers, each signing up for long term memberships, depending on your initial business startup cost and maintenance cost, you just might be able to turn in a profit as a business, even if no new customers sign up to your gym and only the 2,000 customers remain. The same however cannot be said about MMM as my model clearly shows. |
DuchessR:How is time a variant in the above model? whether or not the payments are staggered has no overall effect on the eventual outcome. |
talk2macs:your kinda throwing me off my game, lol ![]() what's N-power though? may a topic for another time? |
eph12:Okay, so you say MMM doesn't really need new participants as long as old participants continue to PH. Now lets put your answer into a model. In our model we would have 10 MMM participants who each contributed N1000 or PH N1000, making a total PH of N10,000. Now the total GH would be expected to be 130% of this amount which would be N13,000. According to our model, no new participants join, so we remain at 10 participants. Already, we have a deficit between the GH and PH of N3,000 that cannot be covered as there are no new participants. Now you say people can keep PH-ing and GH-ing, so lets account for that. Say the first 5 people GH from the total pot of N10,000, they would each be expected to get N1,300 and a total of N6,500. If we subtract the N6,500 from the N10,000 we'd have only N3,500 left for the remaining 5 participants who won't all be able to GH. Now the first 5 participants who GH-ed, according to you, could PH again. So now the first 5 participants PH N1,300 each, making the total sum of money now N3,500 + N6,500 = N10,000. Now the last 5 people can GH of N6,500 leaving only N3,500 left. Keep in mind that those first 5 people that re-PH at N1,300 would now be expecting N1690 each and a total of N8,450 for all 5 of them. Since all that is left is N3,500 it won't be enough to pay out the new deficit of N8,450. We could repeat this cycle again and again and the only thing that would grow is the amount owed and an eventual crash. In summary, with our first PH and GH, our deficit was only N3,000. With a Re-PH our deficit has now ballooned to N8,450. You can now see that a Re-PH only increases the deficit for each round of PH. Do you agree with this analysis? |
