doctokwus:I wasn't parked with a lady, i parked and she stepped out immediately. Sooo, the possibility of any "f-ondling" goes out the window. besides, why would they all just jump out like some Rambo movie ![]() |
ademasta:d tin shock me bros. like maybe they were there to rob me or something. they probably wanted money one way or the other i guess. |
My dear friends, I'm here to recant what happened to me a few nights ago along lekki highway. Went out clubbing with this girl in VI, got tired and decided to leave at around 12:30a.m. She was going to Ajah and I told her that I can't go that far, but I can make it to chevron or VGC so we can find her a cab that won't charge that much to take her the rest of the way. So we just pulled over ooo, on the side of the road and she stepped down. Please note that when I say the side of the road, I don't mean like how danfos stop on the road itself (the third lane on the right), no! I mean on the bushy part, the shoulder, that doesn't obstruct traffic at all. Sort of how you are supposed to pull over, when you have car troubles. That's how ooooo, not up to 1 minute, one rickety car just stormed into my front. I panicked a bit, like, "am I about to get robbed ", only for me to see that out of the 4 guys that stepped out, two had on police uniforms, but all were kitted with AK47s. At that very moment, she stepped back in the car and shut the door asking "men!! what do these guys want ".Honestly, at this point, my panic meter had hit 100% and before you could say Jack Robins... I had hit the gas pedal all the way, like, alllll the way down. At this point, one of them hit the glass on my car with the top of his gun as i was scurrying through the gravel and all the while i was just praying "don't shoot", "don't shoot". They attempted to give chase, but... V6 baby ![]() I floored that car like my life depended on it men. Must have hit 200km at some point. The girl kept shouting, "they're coming, they're coming!", but they weren't coming for long I'm just happy that, 1 - I was driving a v6, 2 - the road was free and 3 - they didn't shoot ![]() Please someone tell me, when has it become a crime to pull over on the side of the road ![]() Or is it cause a girl stepped out of my vehicle cause the way they all just jumped out wielding their big guns, sent panic signals right down my spine.what is wrong with these useless police ![]() |
Tufia ![]() Min wage is now 40 dollars 40 dollars Someone please flush d toilet, cus this country stinks

If the government can't provide adequate and proper drainage systems, they could at the least, get trucks to pump out water from flood affected roads. In an ideal situation, you'd have underground drainage that can't be polluted and clogged with garbage (as the garbage would have no access in the first place), coupled with water pumping trucks on standby, waiting to suck up water from roads that are in bad shape. Our generation needs to get it right!! Most of us are already exposed, but somehow, we keep letting selfish, short-sighted, tribalistic and sometimes, outright dumb people to get the job, sigh ![]() |
DropShot:**** so my right ends because of what i name my dog and inscribe on its body ![]() are you even reading what you wrote ****Where one's right ends is where another's begins**** i don't even know where or how to tackle that diarrhea u spewed up there so naming my dog is the end of my right and the beginning of my neighbors ![]() **** https://www.allisonparr.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/funny-gifs-stupid-people.gif |
989900:This is by far the daftest shhh i have ever read in my life What really is the matter with Nigerians It's like for every sane person you see, there are 10 insane people like the poster above I just quoted.Freaking disgusting, wish i could slap ur wretched face, but alas i can't and that irks me ![]() so naming my property whatever I want should depend on my location ![]() what the fvck is wrong with the citizens of this country ![]() Well they elected Buhari a man who only shot his way into office in the past, so that should give you some insight to their intellectual capabilities. Electing a gun toting criminal again in 2015, daft bunch. i hate u all, daft murrafvkers, bish nigggah, panzie, assswipe, shhitwad, the daftest murrafvcker that ever lived, mtcheew ![]() bish |
U go wait tire op, mtcheew U never even see as person go just stand spread leg for gutter, remuv is peniiis and start pissing into the neighborhood toilet (I mean gutter), while smiling at u (with his peniis not his face )Nigerians love their open gutters, how else will they pee, or throw away their trash, or shower, or even make love The open smelly gutter, filled with green, brown, black and yellow substances is a national treasure my friend, a national treasure. Only someone like the op rossikki will be heartless enough to recommend genocide of a whole species just to make "progress", don't u know that mosquitoes are people too ![]() So in conclusion, I conclude ![]() |
What a daft police force, my goodness ![]() So daft So so daft Sooooo daft ![]() |
Okay, so the government has done its job on some roads by providing clear lane markings, yet some or most motorists in Nigeria take these lane markings simply as decorations ![]() I get soooooooo angry driving in Lagos sometimes, that I find myself cursing almost everyone. Do they even realize how dangerous it is ![]() You will be driving in ur lane, then some animal would now leave his lane and start veering into urs, like da fvck ![]() What is so hard in driving straight and using ur turn signals when ready to switch lanes ![]() Honestly, if I was white, I'd be a racist after witnessing this sort of jungle driving. I'd think that blacks are animals, true story. The most annoying one is on a 3 lane road like lekki epe, when I'm driving on the extreme left lane and some mudafvcker in the middle lanenow has half of his car in his lane and the other half in my lane. In essence almost pushing me into the concrete sepetator on my left. Why am I a Nigerian sef, why am I black ![]() Don't even get me started with danfos and conductors hanging on the back of busses like real animals. No law enforcement, nothing. Fvcking annoying

Last week, we had to pray to God for a blink, just a blink, like 1 blink ![]() Now, for the past 4 days its almost been like 24/7 or should I say 24/4 Anyways, fate smiles on us today, but who knows what the future holds ![]() Winter is coming ![]() |
If this is true, then the president just went from Dullarpo to President Buhari. Kudos! Now release KANU and other common sense things and become an even greater person. As for NYSC, burn in hell ![]() |
isn't life funny ![]() hypocrisy is so silent sometimes that the afflicted often go unaware of their condition. Heck, even I may be a hypocrite at times, guess we all have to keep checking ourselves on a daily basis. on this thread, people are saying "Yes!, Yes! Lock him up and throw away the key", when he should be out on bail, yet... yet... yet, on this same nairaland, I just read a topic about a guy who was illegally detained by the Nigerian police and had to be bailed out with 30k. Do you see the hypocricy yet ![]() I will never condone pilfering, but can we do things according to the law in the country ![]() if you are rejoicing that Nnamdi Kanu is still locked up under trumped up charges, then who is to say you may not be locked up tomorrow under the same trumped up charges Oh! my bad, it already happens as I just pointed out regarding the such topic on the front page. Are you a hypocrite Ask yourself this question today ![]() |
234GT:Some have far long abjugated their responsibilities, so locking them up wouldn't take away what they never had. As for the children I did mention adoption as a way out to save them as they are innocent in all this. Have you ever come across a woman with upwards of five little kids at a street corner begging for alms To me this is wickedness, if such a parent knowingly puts children who should all be in school through such hardship. Their mates are at school learning, while they are doomed to begging at such a tender age. |
It's very typical for we Nigerians to ignore indices and statistical reports, as we enjoy living for the day and not tomorrow. I must admit I am a bit guilty of this in my personal life as well. Tell me you'd give me one vanilla ice cream today, or 10 in a weeks time and I'll probably choose to get the one today ![]() However, for more serious aspects of life, proper planning cannot be overstated. We have a population problem in this country and its one that seems to be getting worse. Already, we are close to 200 million (stand to be corrected here) and we keep pushing and pushing our population figures upward without a correlating upwards push of skill acquisitions for this population. So what we have is a black hole so to speak. A black consumer hole, one that sucks resources without giving birth to anything substantiable. In order to ensure a productive population, it follows that each person must be empowered with proper education, training and resources. However, what we have in Nigeria is a situation were selfish people bring more children into this world than they can comfortably afford to care for, hence those children mostly go untrained, lacking education and the requisite resources needed to add their quota to the Nigerian society. Given this connondrum we presently find ourselves, I suggest a bill be passed by the senate, criminalizing the act of birthing a child without providing for said child. Offendants should be locked up and their children taken away from them and given to adoption agencies. This may sound cruel, but I believe it to be a step in the right direction. This is one of those steps needed to envoke a long term change in this country, it is obviously not a short or medium term plan. Its a plan that will yield its harvest within the next generation of Nigerians. |
This is like sooooo backward in my opinion. Almost like when blacks back in the day sold themselves for mirrors and shhh. Though I applaud the strides Lagos is making, even though the pace is below par, my gripe is all this useless fan-fare. So a whole minister of power, works and housing, along with the finance minister had to tag along with a whole VP to commission a road built with interlocking stones ![]() What kind of message does this really pass across ![]() Ambode, ever since you painted those police cars and pasted the 112 number on them, I've given u props, but this right here is B.S men and you should know it. I wish for you to step up your game so much so that you get to a point were things like these sort of roads don't even need to be commissioned. A project like Eko Atlantic is worthy of commissioning. A space programme, refinery, research facilities, education for all... These are things worth commissioning in my humble opinion, not inner roads built with interlocking stones. |
catlova2:bet still, don't u think its sad that one can barely afford a bag of rice after working legitimately for one whole month ![]() |
I predict chaotic traffic tomorrow Hope they handle it well, if not, Lagosians please pack the following items: -Two bottles of 50cl water -1bowl of a light meal (rice, potatoes) -one pee jar for men, women if you have to pee in the car, then ur OYO -phone charger -multiple downloaded movies and songs. -2 spare gala Good luck out there tomorrow. |
I just loaded some airtime on my etisalat and I got this notification, asking me if I want to get 50mb of data and 900 naira to call any network, all for just 300 naira. That is a deal men!! Here I have been, blowing 1k after 1k credit, when I could just have signed up for this plan. I know the data isn't much, but I have unlimited internet, so I just need calls and boy, this is a sweet deal. So if I load 1k now, I can just use tiny 300 naira to get 900 naira, just like that, awesome!! I just feel like I've made a huge discovery. Next would be to find where they have a deal on petrol, like 50 naira/liter anything is possible! |
francisbarrack:So what about the hardworking Nigerians, must we suffer too ![]() You brag about no money like it's a good thing. Just because politicians steal doesn't mean everyone steals. Anyway, guess we are all gonna suffer together huh ![]() |
Guys are funny men. People are now saying Nigerians aren't striking because they trust buhari, like really ![]() So you trust 350 naira to a dollar ![]() Do you guys realize that it now takes N350,000 just to get a thousand dollars These are real issues that are affecting people. These class of people would still trust buhari even if a dollar gets to N500. That would mean it would take N500,000 just to get a thousand dollars Let that sink in ![]() What is the gain in being a zombie in these times Fighting for the government when at the end of the day, their policies may further impoverish you![]() Even if you think you are poor now, what happens when you can't even afford that garri anymore About this issue of petrol price protest, we are not even sure if the subsidy has been removed or if its due to currency value. If its subsidy and you are supporting no subsidy now, what would happen when the price of oil rises to $80 in the int market Would you really be prepared to pay N250 per liter That is 5 liters for N1,250. 20 liters for your gen at N5,000.Then would you now make a u-turn to support subsidy ![]() If it's about currency value, then why is NNPC also selling at 145 when they should get the dollar at the official rate ![]() If even the NNPC can't get the dollar at the official rate, then who is getting the dollar at the official rate? cause I know I'm not!! If 90% of the country can't get the dollar at the official rate, then what is the point of the official rate ![]() These are questions needing answers, scenarios mostly bad that need to be avoided. This is not the time to be a zombie just cause you think you're lifeisnt worth anything. You are worth something my dear zombie friends, so question your government for the benefit of your future and that of the country's future. |
We have a very high population rate in this country, coupled with a high illiteracy rate in such a small land mass. We have failed in family planning sensitization in this country. Yet we keep growing! I don't know if I'd be willing to live in a Nigeria were our population has become 500 million and illiteracy still high. Recipe for disaster!!! |
Its called "Hail" brah!! |
tuale4u:So we are officially screwed huh ![]() Damn! What a country. Peoples savings just loosing purchasing power ever so rapidly. In the last one year, purchasing power must gave crashed by a huge percentage. 100k in the bank could buy you 1,163 litres of petrol last year, now that same 100k can only buy you 690 litres of petrol ![]() |
989900:Can we ever get UK style planning in this shhitthole country? Planned bus routes and scheduling would really help. Extreme bus maintainace is required also, so that even if its just a screw that needs replacing, it gets replaced asap. Buses need air conditioning to be fully functional at all times. As a matter of fact, there should be a rule were buses without air conditioning can't be used for public transport. Before people call me a dreamer, if it can be done and is presently being done abroad, why can't we do it here I'm tired of suffering in this country, high fuel, no electricity, blah blah blah.In the UK, you even have bus maps for crying out loud. So you can sync with Google maps and plan your trip via buses even if you're a first timer. Here, just rackety danfos that wouldn't even agree to come to a full stop before they let you out and ratchet brt buses. I'm tired men |
ckmayoca:Men, I love a v6, but yeah, u pay for what you get ![]() I used to race up and down with an 8 cylinder before and watch my gauge literally drop down before my eyes in minutes My 4 cylinder Toyota now is pretty fuel efficient, but I'm still hurting. |
bet osinbajo said, price hike is because of currency, not removal of subsidy ![]() 145 naira for petrol!! I'm still working on believing this shhh When I was pumping my gas today, I just kept staring, gawking even, at that price per liter, 145 and smh ![]() |
