European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Loved At Chelsea And Hated In Spain: Is Mourinho Right? by labamo07(m): 2:00pm On May 02, 2013
ddippset: The man is a cry baby and a hypocrite. He failed in hisa achievements despite have the richest squad in world football. This they love me they don't love me rvbbish is just a foolish excuse for his failures. When he won la liga last year he was bowing for his players and feeling like the man. Every coach is hated and loved in every country. Fregie, wenger, pep, benitez are all hated by some. You under achieved at madrid mr mourinho, don't use love as an excuse.
See mumu comment. If a coach is having problem with high profile players in the team then you should envision the difficulty with the management. Moreso, media is killing in Spain because of the connection the likes of Casillas had. So what do you expect?

~Bluetooth:
How many slums do you see in London,Dubai or New york ? You guys should learn to put sentiments away from governance.for a government to work and succeed, sacrifices must be made.

Government cannot build free houses to aLl poor Nigerians simply because they are homelessness and that is why there are urban and rural areas.if you find yourself lagging in Urban areas, migrate to the rural when life is cheap.Besides, government is not father christmas.

PS- I'm not blaming those poor guys for being poor and kicked out of their shanties but what need to be done must be done.
permit me for calling you fool, yes you are..... Have you been to the 3 cities you named, altogether ? Would you like me to remind you that there certain provisions made for citizens and residence of the cities? If any of your relation is residing in the slum, I trust you would make mobilization for placards to be raised at Alausa

Phones10 Amazing Things You Don't Know Your Smart Phone Could Do by labamo07(op): 9:47am On Mar 02, 2013
You can imagine how useful your smart phone could be.

WiFi Hotspot
If your phone runs Android Gingerbread, Windows
Phone, BBOS or iOS, you can use it as WiFi hotspot to get online using devices (such as a tablet or laptop) that don’t have a cellular data connection. This is called tethering.
Turn on the hotspot function on your phone, search for it using the second device, enter the password and start browsing.
Tethering uses data, so to avoid hefty charges make
sure you’ve got an unlimited data allowance. Some
networks don’t allow it either, so check first.

Google search the real world
Google Goggles (free, Android) lets you identify
products, places and logos using the camera on your Android phone. Use the app to take a picture and it then analysis writing or imagery and matches it with a database.

Google Goggles can be employed in a myriad of ways - use it on holiday to discover more about landmarks, scan business cards to your contacts, scan barcodes, translate foreign languages and even solve Sudoku.

Google Goggles needs an active data connection, so if you use it abroad stick to WiFi to avoid charges.

Car keys Ever have that fleeting moment when you wonder ‘did I lock my car?’ Mercedes-Benz mbrace (iOS) and My BMW Remote (iOS) are free apps that let car owners lock their vehicles remotely by sending a signal to the car. Before you download the apps check the running requirements - BMW requires BMW Assist and a bluetooth-enabled navigation system.

Mobile wallet
Use your smartphone to pay for goods without
opening your wallet.
Many smartphones include NFC chips, which work
with services like Orange QuickTap to pay for small-
value items using a special reader found in shops
such as M&S and Subway.
Even if your phone doesn’t have an NFC chip, the
Starbucks app (free iOS and Android) lets you buy
coffee using your phone. Simply load money on and
pay by scanning the on-screen barcode - useful for
those days when you don’t have any change, but need a caffeine fix.

Heart Rate monitor
We certainly don’t advise self diagnosis, but Instant
Heart Rate (free Android, iOS, Windows Phone) is a
quick way of measuring your pulse. Hold your finger over the lens for about 10 seconds and the camera tracks colour changes, with every heartbeat visible on a real-time graph.
See instantly see how your heart rate compares to
average and store up to five measurements. With
built-in heart rate zones, Instant Heart Rate Monitor is a useful tool for exercise.

Spirit Level
Planning some DIY this weekend? Thanks to a built in gyroscope, there are many apps that turn your
smartphones into a spirit level.
Some like Spirit Level Plus (free, Android) replicate
simple spirit levels, while others like Spirit Level (free iOS) can also display the angle and lock accuracy values. Upgrade to Spirit Level Pro (69p) to measure angles of elevation, slope and incline and align pictures.

Voice Memos
Forgot your mothers birthday card? With the help of your smartphone quickly send a personal voice message instead. Select Sound Recorder on an Android device or Voice Memo on an Apple phone (each with a funky old-fashioned microphone interface), tap to record, say/sing/shout your message and share your recording via email or
message.
The recipient can then download the file to their
smartphone or computer and you’ll be off the hook!

Track your family
Find My iPhone is a free app that lets you pinpoint the location of your phone should you lose it, but for parents it’s a great way of keeping track of your childs location. Install the app and log onto www.iCloud.com, enter their Apple ID password (if they’ll give it to you!) and as long as the phone is turned on, you’ll see the location on a map.
Android users can use Life360 Family Locator (free
Android, iOS) to locate family members, receive alerts when they reach destinations and even send
messages.

Speed Cameras Expensive speed camera fines are a source of frustration for motorists, TomTom Speed Cameras (currently free if you subscribe via the app) and Trapster (Android and iOS) warn you of forthcoming speed cameras to help you avoid fines and drive more safely.
TomTom Speed Cameras also warns of red lights,
average speed checks and mobile hotspots.

Watch live TV
TVCatchup (free, Android and iOS) lets you watch live Freeview television on your smartphone, it’s totally free and although there’s no record function, you can pause it.
Streaming video uses a lot of data so make sure
you’re connected to a WiFi hotspot and activate ‘Use WiFi Only’ to avoid
TVCatchUp is great for catching up on TV away from home or even at home if your TV choice is met by groans.

Sissie: if you think oil is the only interest the west have in Nigeria, then u probably don't understand fully the world economic systems and it's dynamics, Africa is a dumping ground for the west and also a source of natural resources. It used to be asia, south America and Africa, but this other continents are getting developed, reducing the control d west has on it, and the truth is the african man sees the White as superiors ( mental slavery).
We need tolerance, understanding and most of all respect, Nigeria has diverse culture, and there's stereotype thinking.
Don't do business with the Igbo man he's a cheat
Don't marry a yoruba woman, they are dirty
Hah igbira people are wicked
Nupe are witches
Hausa are all illiterates.
Edo girls are prostitutes, the list goes on and on.
When we decide to overlook this, and realise we all Hav our rights and it must be respected, either we lik it or not.
N put our multicultural diff to our advantage.
And make sure we choose the right leaders, maybe Nigeria will move forward.
Instead we Come on nairaland and insult the Muslims and the north thinking that's where all Nigeria problems lie.
There's always an action and reaction.
If we continue the way we are going hmmmm, this will just be the beginning.
You are the bomb, 3rd world nations are being subjected to modern slavery. Our rulers are baited with cheap gains just like the way our forefathers are traded for mirror...
PetsBulldog Accidentally Shoots His Owner by labamo07(op): 7:13pm On Mar 01, 2013
A Florida man has been shot in the leg by his own
dog, police said.
Gregory Lanier, 35, told officers he was driving down
the motorway when his dog kicked what he thought
was an unloaded handgun sitting on the raised floor
section between the passenger and driver's seat of his
pickup truck.
But Mr Lanier soon discovered the 9mm Beretta had
at least one bullet inside as it discharged and struck
him in the left calf.
Mr Lanier told police he "heard a boom, saw smoke
and felt a burning in his leg" as the bullet entered and
then exited his leg and struck the door panel.
The wounded man pulled his Ford F250 into a nearby
petrol station, where the store clerk - a friend of Mr
Lanier's - called for emergency personnel.
According to the police report, Mr Lanier told his friend
the dog was jumping around in the truck and kicked
the unholstered weapon. He also had a rifle in the
truck, which he said was unloaded.
Mr Lanier was taken to hospital for treatment.
His dog, which Sebring Police spokesman Steve Carr
tells Sky News was a tan and white bulldog, was taken
to a friend's home.
No charges have been filed.

PhonesSony's New Xperia Z Phone Proves A Hit by labamo07(op): 6:57pm On Mar 01, 2013
The new mobile phone by Sony has become the UK's
second best-selling handset from pre-orders alone.
The Sony Xperia Z is beaten only by the Samsung
Galaxy S3, which remains in the top spot for the 10th
consecutive month, price comparison website
uSwitch.com said.
The Samsung Galaxy range dominates February's top
10, taking four places, with Apple's iPhone 5 only in
third position due to the success of Sony's new
handset.
The Sony Xperia Z, which only became available to
buy on Thursday, is seen as a serious challenger to
Samsung's Galaxy S3.
The waterproof, dust-resistant Sony PlayStation-
certified handset boasts a 13-megapixel camera, HD
recording and 5in HD display.
Ernest Doku, telecoms expert at uSwitch.com, said:
"Perhaps the most surprising entrant in this month's
chart is Sony. After record losses in 2012 due to
natural disasters and a strong yen, the Japanese
colossus has upped its game, producing a feature-
packed, high-spec model in the Xperia Z. Storming
into the second spot on pre-orders alone, this is one to
watch in 2013.
"Although Samsung continues to stay ahead of the
competition and is holding on to pole position, the
popularity of the Galaxy range is starting to wane
thanks to serious competition from rival
manufacturing giants.
"There are hotter, newer kids on the block and the
Xperia Z's early popularity is really exciting for
beleaguered Sony. It has the winning combination of
being packed full of features and priced right. It's
about time the iPhone 5 and the S3 were challenged.
"But the anticipated launch of a new Galaxy handset
later this month could make it hard for Sony to build
on this early success."
The uSwitch.com mobile tracker top 10 list is based
on live searches, pre-orders and sales.

The efforts to rid the force of unscrupulous elements should be doubled..
Very true but change is a gradual process, it must be encouraged.
