Let the virus teach Nigerians a lesson. I want to people who feel they are powerful and can break rules because they are power, coughing blood and begging for their lives like babies.

Nigerians must get sense by force. CoVID-19 is in charge now. You must learn the hard way.

There are brilliant Medical laboratory Scientists who are specialists in Medical Microbiology and Immunology, empower them to develop the CoVID-19 testing kits.

The Medical Laboratory Science Council has a superb In-Vitro Diagnostic testing lab for imported and manufactured kits, activate that infrastructure and ask the Scientists to move in and develop the kits.

That's where the CBN funds should go right now. This is not the time to play unneccesary politics. This is life and death staring us in the face.

All hands must be on deck.

It's time to shut down all interstate travels!

Nigerians hold buhari by the jugular and ask him to shut down all interstate travels for the next 1 month NOW!

Soldiers and police should be drafted in on all interstate highways immediately, this virus is far bigger than we think.

PoliticsRe: Why Tinubu Will Not Be Prsident In 2023 by LabDNA: 9:24am On Mar 23, 2020
No yoruba man can be president in 2023. They've seen the signs already that's why they are trying to blackmail the rest of the country with their 'audio amotekun' like they did pre-1999 with OPC. But it won't work this time.

They've taken their turn, they must now sit and wait for others to take theirs.

deji17:
You are going emotive about these things. Election is a contest and not war. Nothing ungentlemanly about contesting against each other in an election. Ekwueme wanted to win against OBJ. He lost the contest. No one is angry at the Igbos for that. Its a popularity contest. Let us contest.
Sorry but the East will not contest with the SW, no matter how you play the emotion card. It is practical politics. PDP and AD zoned their ticket to the SWest in 1999 and they contested with themselves. Same must be done for the East.

We have only two realities- an Eastern president or a Northern president in 2023. You don't really have much choices do you?

All achievements started from dreams. Politics is a game. Let us contest. That is the beauty of democracy.
Dream on but the reality is that politics in Nigeria is not rocket science or football, it very predictable and everybody (even you) knows

- that is impossible for two yoruba to emerge in the two major political parties.

-that you've already damaged some of your goodwill with the Amotekun saga.

- that yorubas have taken their rightful turn and the rest of the country will not let them jump the queue.

-that if APC fields a yoruba, the SE+SS+ North alliance will defeat yoruba as usual as yoruba do not have the numbers and hardly win elections.

-that there will be no yoruba president in 2023 after they have ruled for 16 years in PDP and another 16 years as VP in APC.

Dreamers are allowed to dream, but reality cannot be wished away my brother. grin

OBJ contested against Ekwueme for PDP ticket in 1998. No one asked the Igbo to step down for a Yoruba man then. No one has denied the Igbo in APC or any party from contesting. Rochas Okorocha contested against Buhari and he did very well at the primaries.
Stop trying to be clever by half, the OBJ vs Ekwueme primaries was a gentleman's thing. Before the primary it was already agreed OBJ will emerge to assuage the SW, the primary was just to fulfill all righteousness and follow INEC laws and guideline that says every party must hold supervises primaries.

I know more about the political history of this country than you do. Go bury your head in history books and old newspapers like TNT, Champion newspapers, etc.

deji17:
But why dont you want to field a. presidential candidate from SE in PDP or APC?
We want both tickets or nothing.

On a level playing ground, yorubas can't win national election. It has always been like that since pre-independence when yorubas started losing elections..

The only time a yorubaman ever got elected as president was when the major parties fielded 2 yoruba men in 1999 to assuage them after they blackmailed the rest of the country to give them power.

The same must be done in the East who have not had it, the two parties should field Easterners in 2023. Dr Ogbonnaya Onu in APC, Peter Obi in PDP.

That way the East can also have their turn and rightfully so.

We all know that marginalizing of the East gives some yorubas a lot of thrill, we in the East understand you thought process and are ready to ensure if yorubas cannot wait their turn in the spirit of zoning, then they will not also have the presidency.

There are tons of qualified Igbos in both parties, zone both party tickets to the East and let an Easterner emerge the way OBJ emerged in the spirit of equity and zone. It is the only way yorubas can also have their turn after Ndigbo have done theirs.

If this is not hypocrisy then I don't know what other adjective to use
You know that you about to be sent back to opposition politics in 2023, that's why you formed your Audio Amotekun to blackmail the rest of the country to hand over power to you like you did in 1999 with your OPC.

But it won't work this time. Power will either come to the East or remain in the North as you have had your turn. And if you do anything funny, you'll be kicked back into line in the spirit of 'One nigeria'.

Now!,nobody should please bring up the highly controvercial 1979 presidential electral victory that was based on 122/3 by the court into the discuss, this was just a flash in the pan of a sort.
However, having explain this,i have being wondering why in all past elections after this, always whenever a presidential candidate of the Northern estration took up an Igbo running mate ends in a defeat for such candidate irrespective of how popular such a candidate may be,IS THIS A CURSE ON THE IGBOS?
Before anyone would start pouring unquantifiable venom on me instead of them to counter my submission with a superior argument, these are instances:in 1993 presidential election,Bashir Tofa was pair up with an Igbos running mate by the name Sylvester Ugoh and was not only defeated in the election but lost his polling unit to a BERIBE!;ten years after in 2003 another northerner in person of our amiable Gen Mohammedu Buhari, who has massive cult followership in the North fielded an Igbo man in the person of sen.Chuba Okadgbo
yoruba voters have been the biggest electoral failures from pre-independence till 2015 when they suceeded for the first time and started pounding their chests like apes that they are kingmakers.

Yoruba voted for Awolowo the first time, he failed.

They voted him second time, he failed,

They supported MKO he failed and even got killed.

Yoruba voted Olu falae he failed.

They gave Nuhu ribadu ACN ticket in 2011, he failed.

With history taken into account yoruba voters are the biggest electoral failures. They won elections for the first time since independence just yesterday in 2015, they suddenly start beating their chests like gorillas and insulting everyone else. grin

A 6 year old child witnessed when yoruba electorates won elections for the first time ever in their political sojourn in Nigeria. grin

They'll be humbled again in 2023, if APC fields a yorubaman. grin
