Nnewi to Onitsha and vice versa nko, why did you omit that route? |
How much is the discount on black friday. |
Aladegba:To be fair. I respect yorubas a lot. Personally I have no qualms with them, they are a great race but some cantankerous elements spread fallacies that destroy the fabric of humanity. You should join hands with me to call them out. |
Iamgrey5:Joker! |
Iamgrey5:Why not grab a gun and go chase them out of their homes and lands in Lagos since you have 24 heads? Today- 'We must not allow them to have their own country' Tommorow- 'leave our lagos, and go back' What do you really want from the East? |
Never knew the Binis called chicken 'Okukor' as we do in Igbo. |
nabegibeg:Noise! There is nothing wrong in what the guy did. You guys say you love buhari and dictatorship and he only tried to help you extend the love between nigerians and buhari for a longer period. No harm in that. 3rd term is a welcome development. |
Sonnyboom:What kind of lies do some yoruba parents tell their kids when narrating history? Ironsi was targeted for assasination too. His head was also wanted on a plate by the coupists. It was well documented by Major Wale Ademoyega who was one of the coupists in his book.. You damned illiterates of history are polluting the cyberspace with your revisionism. Stop it. |

Personal experience. Patient was brought to our diagnostic centre for scan and labs. Abdomino-Pelvic scan was requested as the prov. diag was ?incomplete abortion, patient was in pains but the mama say no money. Who go come pay? She promised to pay later. The little girl was writhing in pains and almost lying on the floor, chai wetin I go do make this girl no come die here? My emotions allowed me to overrule due process. Tests were carried out, they promised heaven and earth that they were going to come back with the money immediately the physician has seen the scan result. They took the scan and left the other results with us without paying a dime. It's been 2 years now, that money done go. They know our numbers so they don't even pick calls. There were many cases like that especially when we started out newly but over the years I've hardened my heart because of the bitter taste it leaves in the mouth. We collect at least 2/3 of our money before registration & venepuncture, and the balance when you come for result. No be we kill Jesus. |
Kai the legal profession is saturated just like many medical professions are getting saturated. The only saving grace is that many medical professionals like physicians, nurses, scientists, pharmacists, radiographers etc are leaving in droves, allowing some space and hope for fresh graduates waiting to invade the health sector. If you are a medical professional start thinking of relocating to the UK, EU citizens in the health sector are leaving the UK due to Brexit and the NHS is desperate to fill the lacuna with immigrants from commonwealth nations. |
One the biggest threats against freedom of thought and speech is also the judiciary. The magistrates and Judges are willing tools in the hands of these politicians. Many of them are corrupt and terrible people without any form of ethics. They sell judgements to the highest bidders and do not care about the moral health of the judiciary. Civil society organizations should also beam their search lights on these wig-wearing judicial reprobates. They are even more dangerous than an autocratic executive and a reprehensible legislature. |
LegendHero:Nobody said Gowon never wanted him released, ofcourse he needed the support of the SW and the Ibos were then hunted and killed in other parts of the country. They were persona non grata, thanks to BBC hausa and other Lagos media. On the other side, of what use was Awolowo being kept in prison beneficial to the East? None! He was simply seen as a harmless political prisoner and released to go see his family. All the events, sentiments and political dispositions of all regions are well documented. But it will remain a crime against history to pretend that Gowon released Awo by fiat in a region where he (Gowon) was not recognized without sending soldiers from Lagos to invade the prison commando style and free Awo. |
LegendHero:One question for you... If the West African pilot newspaper run by Easterners then had written an editorial about how the East released Awolowo from Calabar prisons, would you have held it as an unbiased view or not, since we know what part of divide you belong and the narratives you seek to believe? The British were hands in gloves with the Nigerian government, they were partisan and the views of British tabloids could not qualify to be seen as objective and unbiased. The East released Awo. They were with the keys of his prison cell and didn't take orders from Gowon whom they saw as illegitimate. It's common sense. |
Don't worry if Sowore dies in detention, 20 years from now when Yusuf Buhari becomes president, he will name a monument after him. Then yorubas will hail him and forget all the atrocities his father commited. We saw it in MKO Abiola case. |
Lol.. Nothing new has been said here. Unalloyed facts still remain that.. 1. Gowon was not recognized in the East and therefore didn't have the instruments and influence to release of Awo who was detained in the East. 2. The source of your narrative was from Guardian a tabloid of the British who strongly supported the puppet Nigerian state with arms, ammunitions, military training in the war of attrition against the East. So those views cannot be seen as unbiased. This is common knowlege. The atrocities of the British government in the pre-indepedence and during the war in Nigeria have been grossly downplayed. Not just with their penchant for diplomatic sleaziness and military support for atrocities but with their media with which they had a monopoly to hold people spellbound with their propaganda depending own which side of the divide their interests lie. They did it in Botswana, India, Nigeria. Go read this book, it's an expose on British atrocities in Eastern Nigeria, written by a British journalist himself.

Nigerian roads are terrible and do not deserve such cars. It is stupid to drive such ultra-expensive cars on Nigerian roads. |
Wow nothing enthrills and 'ensweetens' me like progress. More progess to mavin. |
I knew that some elements will find a way to justify this. This country has very terrible scums that are worse than wild animals, nincompoops that should be eliminated for good if this country must move forward. |
Na today? In the Nigerian jungle, bullets always defeat the pen. Just like every other third world cesspit. |
Long overdue! Those randy rams in our higher institutions that count female students like census, it is no longer business as usual. The noose is tightening, zip up now and receive sense. |
ziddy:Don't hate the player, hate the game. No more emotions. Ndigbo are simply asking you to eat a bigger frog since you refuse to take their advice when they you warned about the poisonous frog you swore that you must eat in 2015 and 2019. |
Chukwueze should be training everyday even in his house and on leisure time after club training. He has a big mountain to climb, expectations are very high. |
oyatz:You are just being emotional, so asking for equity mean I hate yoruba? I have voted for yoruba president twice, has anybody in your lineage ever voted an Igbo man? I'm sure you were old enough in 1999 and 2003 to be self-aware. Can you swear that right in your father's house, you've never said or heard anti-Igbo statements like... 'A fe Ijoba Ibo', ' Awa ole odibo fun Ibo', 'Ibo ole gba Ijoba' during discussion of politics? Can you swear? Asking that yoruba should vote Igbo, since Igbo have voted yoruba is hate? Pure nincompoopery! |
I can't cheat, keeping many girls is too expensive. So I concentrate on one to make her happy but if I catch her cheating, It's better she goes and I won't even utter a word to her after that as weeks turn months and months turn to year. My silence will pass the message very clear to her. |
That man should make sure, he files that matter before a pro-buhari judge, possibly from Katsina. So that the judgement can be favourable. Since uwa wan run mad, make all of us kukuma run mad together for this country. |
LegendHero:Lol..It is not antagonism, it is equity. You get as much as you give. The East have supported the SW before. Every region has competent leaders that can rule this country and it is only right and just that the East takes their turn. It will help quench the pent-up anger has built up in the East over the years and threatening to destabilize the country. |
LegendHero:Exactly what you benefitted by deriding the East by telling us 'We will never an Igbo man' since 1999 even after they voted you twice. |
tnerro:You are wrong, Ndigbo are simply saying that since Nigerians love to eat frog, we want to help push down a bigger frog down their throats. I support life presidency for Buhari. If he sends the bill to senate, Ahmad Lawan is itching to stamp it into law. As opposition, we will even instruct Distinguished Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe our leader in the senate not to oppose it. |
I'll support a buhari 3rd term. Let him carry go. If nigerians want to eat frog, they must be made eat a big one. Nice from the Nwafor. Some people must get sense by fire by force. |
T.Y Danjuma, Gowon, Al-mustapha should contest the next elections, let's have more ex-military men to rule this country. It must never go back to the 'blood civilians'. |
