Rebuke:
A man who was allegedly beaten by suspected APC thugs has called for the cancellation of the Lagos State Governorship election. According to him, the thugs also stole his gold wristwatch and bangle. In the background of the recording, some individuals can be heard confirming his account, with one claiming to be an eyewitness to the incident.

The man further alleged that the popular Yoruba musician known as Ayide Wasiu, also known as KWAM1, was involved in ballot box snatching and had worked with the thugs to carry out the act in a particular compound.

He accused the Nigerian police of colluding with the thugs to prevent Labour Party supporters from voting, and claimed that they had supported the thugs in carrying out violent attacks on innocent voters.

Dr. Ify Aniebo Rhodes-Vivour, the wife of Labour Party's gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has reacted to a video of MC Oluomo telling Lagosians who will not vote for the Lagos State APC governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to sit at home on election day, IGBERETV reports.

In a video shared online, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, head of the Lagos state branch of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, was seen warning voters who intend to vote other parties not to do so.

He said: “Iya Chukwudi, if you know you no wan vote for us, siddon for your house o.”

He also told APC supporters that if they notice they are losing in polling units, they know what to do.

Desmond Elliot Reacts To Thuggery Attack On His Political Opponent Olumide Oworu

Desmond Elliot, the Lagos State House of Assembly member who is contesting to be re-elected for a third term, has condemned the attack on the campaign team of his opponent, Olumide Oworu, IGBERETV reports.

Olumide who is the Labour Party’s candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Surulere constituency stated via his Twitter handle on Thursday, March 16, that thugs invaded his campaign rally which held on Tuesday, March 14, at Iponri, Surulere.
