A court sitting in Katsina State on Tuesday sentenced a 70-year-old man, Lawal Izala, to 1½ years (18 months) imprisonment.

Ekiti State governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Monday, April 13, has extended the lockdown order in Ekiti for another 14 days as well imposed 12-hour dusk-to-dawn curfew until Monday, April 27.

Fear in Nigeria as 3 pilots who flew Chinese Doctors Disappear from quarantine centre

There is tension in Lagos State as three out of the 17 pilots and flight attendants who flew 14 Chinese medical doctors and medical supplies from China to Nigeria on Wednesday have reportedly disappeared from the Lagos quarantine centre provided by the Lagos State Government.

Nigerian Governors status on COVID-19: 3 tests positive, 13 negative, 20 status unknown

Following the Nigeria battle the spread of Covid-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus, the status of the 36 governors of the novel Coronavirus disease; findings by the Newsflash247 Online News Portal indicates that three of the governors were tested positive while 13 were tested negative.
