I'm simply comparing Ambode to Governors who have not achieved anything. I work in the HR dept of a reputable organization. When an employee performs well we look for a way to reward him so he can continue to give his best. We don't say after all he is earning his salary so he should not be praised. He will soon lose his motivation and start behaving like his colleagues who are earning the same salary by putting in an average or below average performance.

It is quite unfortunate that we have a good leader at this period of falling in crude oil price. One question I kept on asking myself is when are we going to be matured politically in this country. Our clueless, educated PhD holder's president was not magnanimous with our economy, he had all the money to throw around, but could not add any sustainable growth to our economy. He ended up in reducing our foreign reserved that would have been useful in this hash economic condition we found ourself. I wondered why Jonathan could not contribute anything to our reserved, despite oil price was at all record high during his administration. It is not a rocket science, this administration is actually suffering from the economic mismanagement during Jonathan. PMB has the will to develops our institution, but the resources available required proper management. This of course will take time before they can get it right. Running an import dependent economy with alreadydepleting foreign reserved and serious fall in the price of crude will definitely put much pressure on naira.

You are aware that Okonjo Iweala tried buffering the SNW and reserves but many dissident Governors led by APC stalwarts like Oshiomole and Amaechi refused and insisted it be shared among the states. Even Fashola I respect so much also supported this madness then.

What percentage of Nigerians living in America embezzled our money. Very very few so You are generalizing. Secondly with the way our economy is there is very little potential for Nigerians based abroad if they come home. It's the bitter truth. Our economy simply doesn't encourage the entrepreneurial spirit. Its so painful to see intelligent hardworking Nigerians living in poverty because they are not given the chance to grow. No loans, no facilities, no electricity... America is a land of opportunity. We all know people who are based over there and are supporting their families here.

If America knows what is good for them, they should flush Trump down the toilet. America is powerful but it can't survive if it surrounds itself with enemies. Trump's foreign policies are zero and that alone makes him incapable of ruling the most powerful country in the world

He doesn't have a thousand likes cos he has selected certain passages of the Bible to back his argument and conveniently ignored those that don't support it. The old testament is replete with ceremonies and rituals in which God describes in detail how he wants to be worshipped. Even describing in some cases the color and age of the animal to be sacrificed. We cannot always read the Bible at face value, we have to read it in context, historical and linguistically.

These ceremonies are a means to an end; giving God glory. If we worship God then go and commit sins deliberately and knowingly we are fooling ourselves. All those who come online to insult others and then go to Church on Sunday are fooling themselves. They are not acting like Christ, they are not Christian.

Lastly with regards to those who live good lives but don't know Christ, only God can judge. Our duty is to spread the Gospel as far as possible. If you say its Constantine that made us Christian, by that same logic, Christianity should have been wiped out as a result of the great persecutions it has faced over the years.

I never supported APC because I knew it was all recycled politicians. We need new blood, new ideas and true patriots. We have seen the difference some outstanding individuals made in the past. Imagine having a Govt made up of such people, Nigeria will go places.

N400M is about $2 MILLION. Even in America were I live that's a lot of money. I have a great job. I have my own house. Own two high end cars. Have reasonable investments. And yes even for me I consider $2 million to be a lot of money. Not to talk of the average Nigerian majority of whom live on under $1 per day. So excuse me, if I think $2 million is a lot of money. Plus I am pretty sure, that am more loaded than anybody in your entire family or generation.
