Obi1kenobi:
What is "suicidal" about Israel attacking Iran? An invasion of Iran is suicidal and impossible, because Iran is a far bigger country than Israel. Surgical air strikes are very feasible and there's not a damn thing Iran would be able to do about it. What will make Tel Aviv to be "gone". I've got no love for Israel, but they have by far the greatest military in the Middle East.
Israel has tasted some of Iran missiles technology through hamas in the last year onslaught. when 93% of all the hamas missiles landed in Israel with iron dome interceptor failed wholefuly. Can Israel withstand rains of 500 shabab-3 missiles at a time that will be a disaster for Israel. All of their commanders know it as well as their war planner. Israel can't afford that war.

PoliticsWhat Is Been Found In Ex-nsa Adviser To Jonathan Sambo Dasuki. by ladkud(op): 7:22am On Jul 19, 2015
The Department of State Services (DSS) has disclosed that its operatives invaded the Abuja home of the immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), after it received intelligence report that the former security adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, was allegedly planning to commit “treasonable felony against the Nigerian State.” A statement signed by Mr. Tony Opuiyo, said the action of the secret service on Thursday, was in “line with current management resolve to be proactive and pre-empt individuals with penchant for impunity and lawlessness from putting back the nation to the dark days.” The statement accused the former NSA of preventing a legal assignment by operatives of the DSS, who were said to have presented a validly issued and signed search warrant. It said the operation, which was planned to last no more than two hours, entered the next day (Friday), owing to Dasuki’s alleged refusal to allow the DSS’ personnel access to his No. 13 John Kadiya Street in Asokoro, Abuja. The DSS said it recovered “incriminating items”, including seven high calibre rifles, (high assault weapons), several magazines and military related gears, 12 new vehicles, out of which five were bullet proof. The statement reads in full: “On 16th July, 2015, about 1650 hours, based on credible intelligence linking the immediate past NSA, Mohammed Sambo DASUKI (Col Rtd) with alleged plans to commit treasonable felony against the Nigerian State, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) conducted a search on the properties belonging to the former NSA, Mohammed Sambo DASUKI (Col Rtd). The properties are on Nos. 13, John Khadya Street, Nos. 46, Nelson Mandela Street, both at Asokoro, Abuja, and Nos. 3 Sabon Birni Road, Gwiwa Area, Sokoto, Sokoto State. “The search operations was planned to be simultaneously conducted, but DASUKI, refused the operatives entry into his main residence located at No. 13 John Khadya Street, Asokoro, despite being presented with a genuine and duly signed search warrant. Consequently, what was to last not more than two (2) hours, lasted more than ten (10) hours, up till the early hours of 17th July, 2015. Indeed if not for the sense of maturity and professionalism of the officers and men assigned this task and the very good understanding and timely intervention of the new Chief of Army Staff, Tsukur Y. BURATAI (Maj Gen), there would have been a clash between the Army operatives guarding the house and Service operatives, as SAMBO directed the soldiers on duty not to allow any movement into his house, despite the subsisting court order. SAMBO thereafter raised a false alarm to the military authorities to come to his aid as he failed to correctly tell the military that his property was about to be legitimately searched. “Gentlemen, please recall that SAMBO retired from the Army as a Colonel, and therefore not entitled to have military guards, if not for the fact he was NSA. Even as NSA, such guards should have been withdrawn after his removal as NSA since he would not have been entitled. “The search was thoroughly conducted, and several items recovered, among which were some incriminating items. These include seven (7) high calibre rifles, (high assault weapons), several magazines and military related gears. “The team also recovered twelve (12) new vehicles, out of which five (5) were bullet proofs. These vehicles which are all exotic vehicles were retrieved from SAMBO’s residence having failed to produce evidence of ownership. For instance, what could he be doing with five (5) bullet proof cars as a retired NSA?. These cars which from all available evidence were purchased with tax payers’ money were being kept for possible sinister enterprise. “The Service would want to state categorically that this search operation is not a witch hunt. The Service decided to move at this time in line with current Management resolve to be proactive and pre-empt individuals with penchant for impunity and lawlessness from putting back the nation to the dark days. The Service is also aware that the lethal arms and the vehicles recovered were not reflected in SAMBO’s handover notes or what could a former NSA be doing with destructive weapons and bullet proof cars which put together could disrupt the peace of any city in Nigeria for a while. “On the search of his three (3) properties, including the Sokoto residence, the Service is aware that in his capacity and given his antecedents, he might decide to use any of his residences for such diabolical plans, rather than his main residence. “Gentlemen of the press, the Service Management would want to assure members of the public that it would not trample on the freedom of individuals or groups as guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution and emphasized by the current administration’s position on transparency, and probity underlined by justice and equity for all Nigerians. This is the driving force for all DSS operations. However, the Service would not hesitate to go after any person or group of persons, no matter how highly placed once such individual (s) breach or attempt to breach the laws of the Federation. The days for impunity and indecisiveness in the face of unpatriotic acts by individuals operating against the State are over. The Service hereby appeals to all Nigerians to be law abiding and partner with it in ensuring a peaceful and secured nation. In the same vein, those that are bent on breaking the rules governing our peaceful co-existence due to either the huge ill gotten wealth they have acquired or imaginary hold they think they have on our nation’s survival, are being warned to rethink. The DSS will use all constitutional means as defined by its mandate to deal decisively with such unpatriotic individuals. “The Management want to seize this opportunity to appreciate Nigerians for the tremendous acts of goodwill that is being extended to the new dispensation. The Management also wish to assure Nigerians that the gesture and confidence being expressed will be reciprocated with more dedication and service to our dear country Nigeria.”

Nonsense!
1. If he plays partisan politics, is his office not a partisan one? Is he a Service Chief or a civil servant? Is he not an appointee of a PDP government and a PDP member? Which NSA wasn't partisan?

2. If he has ties with IBB or Gusau what is wrong? Are they indicted for terrorism or outlawed? Is freedom of association not his right?

3. If Corruption, when did SSS have the mandate to arrest corrupt officials? Is SSS same as EFCC, ICPC and SFU? Is that even the legal procedure? Has he been invited/summoned? Is their any arrest warrant?

Why are Buharists so undemocratic? Is is despicable. Let me assure Buhari that he will be resisted if he wants to reinvent his dictatorial character. He's so undemocratic and hardened. If he has personal beef with Sambo Dasuki he should head to court and stop abusing agencies of the State.
Its like you are too sentimental or fool of the first order. All of these is attached to national security. So if you are trying to gain point from overruling the issue of national security then you get big ZERO.

Do ur culture n religion accommodate gayism? Why do u think it is a cultural n religious offence to legaliZe gayism in Nigeria?
Islam didn't allow gay and as well as I didn't condone it either. The western country too know Nigeria is steadfast to their religion doctrine whether Islam or Christianity. With thorough persuasion I believe America and its Zionist entity will understand. Buhari is from North there is no way he will legalize gay marriage. I believe is not just Buhari that will Legalize gay marriage it must pass through House of assembly the people's representative and it will still end the same way.

Thank u. You must agree wt me dat d greatest means uses by BH to inflict greatest harm is tru suicide bombings. A critical situation requires a critical measure. Boko haram is now critical therefore requiring a drastic measure. Elsewhere i hav said it n i will say it again that the surest way to curb indiscriminate bombings by BH is to enforce a new dressing code across d North. The traditional Hausa/Fulani wears help d terrorists in concealing dia weapons. Nobody can wear a t-shirt or polo shirt n conceal IED in it. It's hard if not impossible. So my suggestn is fr PMB to ban certain type of wears to curb suicide bombing in d streets while d security forces concentrate on dislodging dem out of dia hideouts.

One possible way is the using US military spy and surveillance satellites that can determine the movement and activities of the insurgent.

Thank u for ur submission broda. As a historian n international relations master, i am sure that no favor goes for free in the international system. When a state offers another state somthing it asks fr somthing in return. International aids are nt free. The US n leading European states hav hurriedly promised n even offered some aid to Nigeria almost immediately PMB assumed power. Guy u must hv read d thread here yesterday about how U.S.plan to persuade PMB to legalize gay marriage in xchange fr their support against Boko Haram. America does nt need our oil or money or anytin u may tink. All dey need frm u is to toe their policy line weda good or bad. My argument den is dat no amount of American or European aids to Nigeria can justify legalization of gay n lesbian bullshit in our dear country.
I agree with you and I believe everyone reading this too will believe the same. The hardest war to fight is asymmetric war which different from conventional war no force u repeat no force can boast of winning it. Even the elite America Army can't boast. Had it been the insurgents didn't use the tactics hiding behind the human shield, it will only take two jet fighter to level down the insurgent hideout. Now with all this what do you think can be the approach tactics that can be use, else many Soldiers and Civilians will die.

From my own opinion try to adjust yourself, I would not say abandon them like that because there is an adage that says; because of ten poor people we created one rich person. It is good to be kind to people no matter your relationship with them. Moreover this can be a test from God to see whether if he give you more that what you have presently how will you do. If you are doing good with good intention I swear you will never regret it, not only you alone us going reap the fruit of the kindness but, your children, grand children and great grand children. Remember "the hand if the giver always on top". Look if you are not giving them, saving all what you are earning you will still not contented with it. what you spend in charity is your own hereafter but what you keep is not yours. If you die ( which will not be your portion now) your money another person even your wife will become another person own. . I quite understood your saying but it is very unfortunate that Nigeria graduates especially those with Bachelor Degrees project ego without actually showcasing the qualities of having such degrees. Though, by principle of Nigeria education curricula, BSc is rated higher than HND but many so called degree holders are really not meeting up; only putting up ego of having the certificate. All you have said is based on theories but contrary is the case in practice. If you could recall, Nigeria Society of Engineers once allowed HND holders to pass through graduateship examinations set by the body. To the dismay of many, the examinations were rubbished by many HND holders thereby qualifying them for corporate membership cadre of the institution. COREN had no option registering those in that category as qualified engineers. When such was noticed, they quickly moved on scrapping the examination. I was fortunate to be part of the team. As far as I am concerned, many of my collegues having B. Eng degrees are not performing better than I do in engineering design, leadership and management. In fact, some are not even meeting up what is expected of them. If Polytechnic education is strenghtened in Nigeria, brilliant minds will excel their counterparts in the universities. Many foreign polytechnics award degrees equivalent to universities with no iota of discrimination.I will not mince words by telling you that some polytechnic graduates are also a big shame to the their respective institutions while many polytechnics have no standards at all. I am of the opinion that the two set of graduates(degrees and HND) be tried in their respective offices before promotion. Whoever is not meeting up could be set aside. They should be given the right to aspire to the highest cadre so far they meet up the requirement. My friend, I still hold Bachelor Degree in Communication Technology coupled with my HND in Electrical Engineering. Let us drop discrimination but root for the best brains in the country. I do hope you will strongly believe that best brains are not limited to university system. Thank you.
Thank you! may God Almighty strengthen your knowledge and intelligent

You can choose to take it or leave it, they ain't the same! Not just academically but professionally as well, they ain't the same. Even in the UK, HNC/HND and BSc ain't the same man... And that's a working system distinguishing both certificates. An engineer with a Bachelor's degree becomes registered after 4 years of experience, but an HND holder can never be an engineer, instead he gets registered as an engineering technologist. The only way is for him to get a bachelor's degree and get the experience and then get registered as an engineer. Their curricula ain't the same. HND holders are trained to become technologist, while BSc holders are trained to be researchers... Its like comparing an MEng with an MSc, the former is 12months,while the latter is 24months. The former ain't research, but the latter is, that is why they can proceed for PhD, while the former can't, except on conversion via MPhil. I can keep going, but I believe I have made my point... It's a very intricate and precarious situation.
