Don’t make it as anything and let her go.
You both obviously cannot be “just friends” after this because she’s hurt.
You are in a relationship with someone and you wake up one day and tell them you need a break, as per lunch break or what? Do you see your relationship a full time job that you need to take breaks?

Let me tell you, taking a break from a relationship gives way to third parties(sex and bonds with someone else) and coming back together after the break will only make things worse. So it’s best you just spell it out to her and break up so she can fully move on.

Is this true for all cases??

Politics / INEC: We Need Over ₦500 Billion For 2023 General Election by Ladumaa: 12:24am On Nov 06, 2021
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday rejected N100 billion earnmarked by the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning for the conduct of 2023 general election.

Chairman of the Electoral umpire, Prof. Yakubu Mahmood, who made this known while defending the Agency’s 2022 budget before the Joint National Assembly Panel on INEC said the N100 billion vote was outside INEC budget for 2022 which is N40 billion.

His words: “The N100bn is the first tranche for the 2023 general election while N40bn is our normal budget for 2022. N189bn was appropriated for the 2019 general election. So, it cannot be N100bn only for 2023.

“We are already in touch with the Federal Ministry of Finance on the additional requirements for the 2023 general election. Either we come to the National Assembly to defend the budget before the committee or we would do what we did in 2019 when the executive just submitted the proposal to the National Assembly and we came to defend it.

“We would need more money because we’ve expanded our polling units and we are introducing new technology for elections among many other new innovations. The number of registered voters will increase beyond the 84 million for the 2019 general election.

“Some of the things we needed would require four months, some five months while some would require seven months. We will start early preparations now that we have the money early enough…

“We hired 34, 000 vehicles for the 2019 elections so we have plans to also outsource the material distribution in 2023 because we can not afford the cost of buying such huge number of vehicles and engage the drivers that would drive them.”

Mahmood further disclosed that the Governorship Elections in Osun and Ekiti states will gulp N7 billion.

According to him, N189billion was spent on 2019 General Election and the number of voters have increased beyond 84 million.

He said: “We also budgeted N7bn for the conduct of Ekiti and Osun governorship election including the possibility of runoffs.

“We made a provision of N2.6bn for Ekiti State with a population of over one million registered voters and N4.4bn for Osun with 30 local government areas.

“We are earmarking N4.2bn for the continuous registration exercise in 2,700 centres.”

Politics / The Mother Of All Sit At Home begins Now!! - Mazi Simon Ekpa by Ladumaa: 1:47pm On Nov 05, 2021
....He made it clear that IPOB are made up of over 90% of Anambra electorates and as such, must not allow this golden opportunity to slip them bye..

According to him, IPOB can't call off sit at home on the eve of elections citing their meeting with Igbo elders and governors, without first telling the people who they are going to be projecting as their Candidate.. Such decision amounts to a waste of votes, time and resources as the entire votes would be split and the less preferred candidate will likely emerge...

He therefore called on all Biafrans to ensure that the elections in Anambra tomorrow is grounded and shifted so as to give them more time to engage with the people if they are to adopt the political solution being proffered by the SE governors and Igbo Elders....

Politics / Killers Of The Two Imo Monarchs Not IPOB, ESN, Gov Knows The Truth - Sen Anyanwu by Ladumaa: 8:24am On Nov 05, 2021
Senator Samuel Anyanwu yesterday challenged the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state to tell the people how unknown gunmen had hijacked a meeting organized by its leader and Interim Management Committee Chairman (IMC) of Njaba local government, and in the process killing two traditional rulers and injuring many rather than being economical with the truth.

It could be recalled that the APC Publicity Secretary in Imo state, Cajetan Duke described Senator Anyanwu’s comment that PDP will tackle insecurity in Nigeria when it takes over power, as not only insensitive but a campaign strategy for 2023 elections.

The Imo state PDP chieftain and candidate for the position of National Secretary insists that for APC to have made such callous statement shows how shameless and unserious about the governance of the state.

He added the reaction of the party to his advice is an evidence they are only interested in gambling with people’s lives and wellbeing.

The erstwhile Senate Committee Chairman on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions further challenged the party to explain to Imo people and Nigerians how gunmen took over a stakeholders meeting organized by its leader and Chief Security Officer of Njaba LGA killing only traditional rulers without a scratch on any of her members who were in the same meeting.

Anyanwu maintains that where APC fails to tell Imo people what actually transpired that led to the gruesome murder of innocent Traditional Rulers, the party should forever cover her face in shame.

He said that such avoidable killing inside a supposed council headquarters is an indication that APC government has no solution to insecurity in the state and Nigeria at large, and suggested the need for Nigerians to reject the party’s gimmicks to return back to power in 2023.

“For reacting to my harmless advice , APC should apologize to the deceased families, communities and Imo state in general for allowing their Ezes to die carelessly .

Politics / Heavy Deployment Of Army to Anambra Is Meant To Reassure Voters – IGP by Ladumaa: 3:34pm On Nov 04, 2021
The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Usman Alkali Baba has said the heavy deployment of security operatives to Anambra for Saturday’s election is not meant to scare voters but to reassure them.

Baba who was speaking to stakeholders during a meeting in Anambra State said the election security is designed to cover the three senatorial districts of the state, 21 local government areas, 326 wards and 5,720 polling units across the State.

Baba said: “This massive deployment is not designed to intimidate the law-abiding as being insinuated in some quarters. On the contrary, it is to re-assure them of adequate protection by deterring misguided political elements as well as non-state actors that might be bent on threatening the elections through acts of armed violence or other conducts that violate the provisions of the Electoral Act.

“It is to also serve as a strong warning that the government is determined to bring such subversive characters to justice should they advance their ignoble, undemocratic and unpatriotic intents. The overriding objective of our operational action plan is to ensure an environment that is peaceful enough to encourage the law-abiding people of Anambra State to exercise their electoral franchise.

“The message here is clear. For the political actors and electorates that are law-abiding, they are fully assured of optimal security. However, for the destabilising elements and other deviants who despite all wise counsels are determined to deploy violence and other illegal means to advance their political interests or constitute a clog in the wheel of peaceful atmosphere for the election, they should be prepared for the consequences of their actions as they will be identified, isolated and decisively dealt with irrespective of their status, ideological inclinations or political affiliation.”

He assured all the people of Anambra, Nigeria and the international community of his team’s firm commitment to support INEC in delivering a free, fair, credible and successful election in the State.

Politics / Suit Seeking Kanu's Release From Detention Given Hearing Date by Ladumaa: 3:16am On Oct 30, 2021
He also stated that case is slated for 2nd November, adding that his desire was to wrap up the matter within one month.

Aloy Ejimakor, a special counsel for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has said the N5 billion lawsuit filed against the Nigerian government asking freedom for his client on health grounds in Abia State has been assigned to a Chief Judge.

He also stated that case is slated for 2nd November, adding that his desire was to wrap up the matter within one month.

Ejimakor disclosed this to SaharaReporters on Wednesday.

SaharaReporters had reported on October 7 that Ejimakor was disappointed that the case was not assigned to court.

"As of today, the case is yet to be assigned and I was informed by the registry that all parties will be notified of the next hearing date once the case is assigned to a Court.

"A fundamental rights proceeding is sui generis. In other words, it is to be treated as special and expected to be concluded quickly, especially in situations where the applicant is incarcerated.

"Today’s outcome is a disappointment. It is my hope that, going forward, there won’t be any further delay in hearing the case," he had said early this month.

However, briefing SaharaReporters on the matter on Wednesday, Ejimakor said, "The matter has been assigned to the Chief Judge sitting in High Court 1; and it is set down for hearing on 2nd November, 2021."

The counsel further said, "On this date, the Nigerian government and its Attorney-General will be expected to move their extant application for extension of time to defend the suit, to which I had filed an opposition.

"After joining issues, I will insist on a ruling on the spot, so that the case can proceed quickly to the next level, which will be a definitive hearing on the substantive matter.

"My intention is to have the case concluded within the next one month. It qualifies for accelerated hearing because of Mazi Kanu’s current incarceration.

"Therefore, I will be strongly disinclined to any further delays coming from the Nigerian government and the other respondents."

The Muhammadu Buhari-led government through the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN) had pleaded with the Abia State High Court to give it and other six respondents an extension of time to defend the lawsuit filed by Ejimakor on behalf of Kanu.

SaharaReporters had reported that the the IPOB leader through his lawyer had in August 2021 approached the Abia High Court to enforce his fundamental rights, stemming from the military invasion of his Umuahia home in September 2017 and his subsequent “extraordinary rendition” from Kenya in June 2021.
