Hello all, for B1/B2 visa application, is one expected to visit the consulate with documents before the interview date. Or is this pre-visit only meant for immigrant visa applications.

how did you make the payment?? and when?

its likely your payment hasn't reflected, if it has..it should take you to the date/scheduling section when you log in....

Good day all, after 4 weeks of passport submission, I did receive an email notification from VFS which states “the decision envelope for your application has been received from the IRCC office on May 17, and has been dispatched to the Canada Visa Application Centre”.

Please does this mean that VFS Lagos has received my passport? Or may I know what this email means.

Nothing to worry about, it will definitely come.
If you submitted at Lagos or Abuja VFS just have 6 to 8 weeks as your timeline.

Good day all. Please does anyone know the current time estimate to one’s passport returned after being sent via VFS? It’s 5 weeks since I sent my passport to get stamped. I’m wondering if this is normal.

In my experience, the guys at the border will typically greet you with a "Hello/Hi and Bonjour" combo greeting and the conversation will proceed in whichever language YOU continue in, if you say good afternoon, they'll 99% of the time proceed in English.

I'm not sure they go digging in your file to see if you got PR through the French draws but if push comes to shove for whatever reason, anyone with a CLB7 should be comfortable to have a conversation with a border officer in French even if there are errors....but I doubt it'll ever come to that.

Hello, I would like to know for individuals who got ITA via the French stream and finally COPR. After landing in Canada, are you expected to speak French to the immigration officers? Or you can speak English.

*What exactly did they ask for in your ADR? Maybe share a screenshot with your personal info removed.

*Does your ref letter contain all that IRCC requests?

*Does your Job description in your ref letter match your NOC? Is it an NOC starting with 0 meaning oga oga or C-suite executive?

*Does your company have online presence? Are you listed at all on the web pages or social media handles?

*In addition to pay slips and banks statements with monthly salary highlighted, maybe also include promotion/commendation letters, linkedin details, annual goals, annual manager evaluations and appraisals, call card, employment ID, vacation requests and approvals, evidence of tax payment, emails showing an aspect of your function being performed or other examples showing the completion of 2 or 3 tasks on your JD. Maybe add evidence of trainings you attended. Tie everything together in a carefully worded LOE emphasize all the aspects of the IRCC ref letter that are already present in your initial ref letter. Pls refer to the IRCC webpage indicating that we do not need to have the educational requirements for our NOC, if you believe that this is a concern (geology to banking) when you draft the LOE as you resubmit.

Hmmm, and you said bank statements highlighting salary paid?. You can do that in addition to all IRCC requirements. Add photos of you at work if need be, promotion letters if any. Anything to convince the VO.

I submitted a reference letter and provided payslips. I do have a BSc in Geology and work in the bank. I do not know if the VO officer is wondering what I may be doing at the bank. I do not have any financial certifications. I only learned on the job

Can my reference letter indicate how I grew to my current position by participating in in-house trainings?

Good day all, I did receive an email from IRCC and they have requested I furnish additional supporting documents as proof of meeting employment requirements for the position I stated. I did submit my offer letter, bank statement, a letter from HR during the initial application.

Can anyone advise me on how to go about this, or what documents do should I provide again.

Shipping depends on state and mode of shipping, heavy items should go by ocean and it takes 12 weeks from other states but from newyork and neighboring states it’s about 6/8 weeks.

Or must my work experience be from a registered company whose presence is online? I have a work history with a registered organization but it’s two years.
