Amen. Thank you so much Omiinii: A decision has already been made on your application. Congratulations in advance. No knows the outcome but I believe it's positive for you. You don't need the slip just attach the BVL you just got with the documents you'll send later to abuja. I'm hoping you know the requirements already and the fees to be paid.
Hopefully you'll come back here and we congratulate you properly. |

Are the outcomes usually positive? What are your advice also? Also my biometric slip was done in Lagos and the slip is missing. Request for GCMS notes. Takes 30days to be received. I do not think not having a travel history would deny him of getting a visa if he has everything accurate in his documents atoke2021: Hello all, I wanted to inquire how we would know if IRCC has uploaded the supporting documents sent to them via webform. We sent the police certificate and proof of home ties via lagos webform one month after submitting out application but did not get any reply if it is now part of our application. I would really appreciate any help on what to do? I also had another question regarding how travel history affects chances of approval. My husband (the spouse applying form Nigeria) has never left the country before. Will that count unfavorably for him?
Thank you for your insights on this issue. |

Please is it possible to apply for a masters in Nursing without any work experience and BSC in nursing. I have MBA in Healthcare management and also going for a masters in public health idolda: Why not apply for Masters in Nursing with preregistration? After completing this you can easily get your licence and apply for a Tier 2 visa which is a cheaper alternative than post study work visa route which is not counted towards ILR |

Can someone help with this please LadyIE: Good day all, For medicals Can one schedule and do TB test in advance even before getting CAS?
Also I am Trying to prepare my POF. Applying with dependent (child). Spouse will apply at a later date.
Bank accounts to be used are 1-joint account for me and spouse's 2- Spouse account.
1-Is joint account ok? If yes does spouse need to provide consent letter authorising use of funds for studies?
2-Should spouse transfer the required funds to my account or can it be left in spouse’s account as my spouse will not be in the same application with me and child at the same time.
If spouse is to transfer the funds to my accounts must there be activity on the account for the 28 day period? Your response is highly appreciated |

Thank you SirWellington: From the little I know, if while filling the dependant form, the said spouce had highlighted the country he/she will be applying from and then proceeds to do the biometrics in that same country, that won't be a problem. In all, the country selected while filling the dependant application form is where the dependant is to do their biometrics. |

Hello gurus, can someone help with this response as I don’t know if it’s difficult to get admission in social work so I change my course immediately. Thank you LadyIE: Hello all, I applied for Masters in Social work and I got this response from the school [Unfortunately, we cannot accept applicants who require a Student Route (SR) visa onto the MA Social Work. This is because the work placements for this programme amount to 170 days unpaid, and constitutes more than the 50% limit imposed on students studying on a Student Route visa. Similarly, we cannot accept applicants who intend to use Student Visitor Visas for this course, as this visa is normally only valid for six months and so does not cover the entire study period required to complete the MA Social Work. Please confirm whether you would like to be considered for a different, full-time course, or if you would prefer to withdraw your application. You can check the full range of courses we offer at https://www.ntu.ac.uk/.] Does this clause mean international students can’t come in for MA in Social work? |

Thank you so much for taking our time to answer my questions. Please for the account being a joint account, can an account which I’m a signatory to be used? Although if the statement is printed, it would bear my spouse’s name. Is it possible to attach a bank statement saying I’m a signatory to that account? Or it’s just safe to make it a joint account Patnuel2015: Hello, Let me help answer some of your questions and make clarification to the issues. To this question ( How much should be minimum balance in statement of account? Maintenance £9207 Tuition balance for 1st year £12 ,000 Total = £21,207). What you wrote was totally correct, and you do not need to provide POF for subsequent years of studies. Even if your program is 4 years, you only provide one academic POF. Again, as long as your maintenance fee is in the PoF, you don't need to prove any accomodation as your accommodation is already considered in the monthly maintenance cost.
As for your statement, you can print it today, and it will still be valid till next 31 days to application. You can have your PoF in multiple statements as long as the accounts belongs to you. If part of the money is in your spouse account, it is supposed that the account should be joint account of you and your spouse.
To your number 4 question, mmmmm, it's a little bit technical but let me try to explain it. You can not use same account you use for your application to apply for your wife's application since she is applying for student visa. I suggest you transfer the money to her account, to be on the safe side.
To your final question (q.5), You have to show sufficient PoF for each of the child. I don't think the kids being American citizens undermines you from showing their Pof.
Please I stand to be corrected in any of the answers above. Thanks. |

Hi all I have read page 1 of this thread but need some clarification on POF ( proof of funds)
If School is outside London 2 years masters programme School fees per year is £15,000 Maintenance for 9 months (1023*9)= £9207
Before visa application
Deposit before CAS = £3000 (remianing 12k which can be paid installementally)
How much should be minimum balance in statement of account?
Maintenance £9207 Tuition balance for 1st year £12 ,000
Total = £21,207
1-Is this value correct? Or should the balance include the total fees for the 2 years programme? Should it also include accommodation or is accommodation already considered in the monthly maintenance cost?
2- If am to submit on 1 November from what date should the minimum balance have been in my account? Is it 1st or 3rd September to say 30th September? Also the statement can it be printed 1 day before submission or can be same day as submission?
3- Can one submit multiple accounts statements if part of the money is applicant and a major part from spouse.
4- After student applicant gets visa can the spouse same account used to support student applicant ...but printing out an updated statement?
5- For kids who are USA citizens and plan to apply same time as spouse must we show sufficient funds for them?
Thank you |

Good day house. When applying to schools There is request to state the available funds that would be used to sponsor your study. Am i to state the entire balance in my bank statement? Or just a balance that would be required to pay my fee and 1 year maintenance. Also, Is it ok apply directly to a school that accepts applications from students and also apply to the same school via UCAS?
If it is not possible to apply twice from different sources which is better ? Applying directly to the school or via UCAS Thank you |

Good day all, I am trying to apply for a post graduate program and found this clause on the school’s website. Please what does this mean as I’m totally new to UK procedures. Thank you. “Please note: This course does not meet the UK Visas and Immigration requirements for Tier 4 sponsorship and therefore we cannot progress applications from candidates who require a Tier 4 visa under the Points Based Immigration System” |
