End of the day the son (if any of this is true) has bleeped it up for his father bigtime!

This is one stain he cant wash. And I am sorry the kid is 19 he obviously was not raised well if this is how he behaves. Its takes two to tango so both parents are to blame.
PoliticsRe: "The N13 Billion Nanny Loan" Oceanic Bank To Cecilia Ibru's Ex-Nanny by LadyT(f): 10:41am On Aug 26, 2009
Mr.C:
Something about Nigerians I have noticed is that we are specialists in blaming and persecuting but not proffering sustainable solutions.

I have to admit, I am getting a bit unimpressed by the way the media is cashing in on this banking news crisis. From rough estimates, I would say about 70% of Nigerians are either badly educated or stark illiterate with no abilities to conduct thorough analysis (for themselves) before drawing a conclusion on the current situation. Such misinformation could further increase panic withdrawals which, if not well managed, could collapse all these banks.
Now imagine all the businesses tied to these banks,
• imagine the impact of a job loss on an already depressed economy (these banks employ about 30% of the banking industry’s employees)
• imagine what will happen to all the businesses that depend on the purchase of the staff for survival
• imagine the struggling real economy businesses & trader who rely on the instrument provided by these bank to successfully conduct transaction and do business (the cost of change and the possible loss if no viable alternative can emerge)
Putting all these into perspective will just reveal one simple fact; we are leading this country into a recession.

I really don’t care if these bank MDs messed up nor if this was a northern agenda. These are modalities that all our comments can not do anything about. The question on the mind of every educated mind, every commentator, and every media article should be:
HOW DO WE MOVE FORWARD??
We move forward by these idiots being shamed and forced to pay back every single naira they took!

The fault is not with the media(shock horror) but the useless greedy bastards in charge of these loans and the greedy RICH bastards who took the loans. We Nigerians have a disease of greed and constant 419ing it has to stop. If these people are shamed into repaying or they are jailed because of failure to repay maybe we will have a chance to rid ourselves of the greed that is killing our progress

Its not even a tribe thing!

Its a begger thing.  What makes me laugh who the hell dashed them busfare to come ALL the way to another state to beg!
Dont get me wrong some beggers are a result of certain situations.  But lets be honest all over the world there are many professional beggers and these northern ones are nothing special.

In the state where they are from money has been allocated (apprantly) to help them so why do they except another state to just allow them to litter the streets.

Lagos “Deports” 160 Northern Beggers    Print  E-mail

Another of the deportees, Hassan Ali, told LEADERSHIP WEEKEND that it is the failure of leadership that made them leave for Lagos to seek a means of livelihood. “As you know, we are aged and cannot afford the basic things of life, but if we had responsible leadership in our region, we would not leave our houses to a strange land to beg just to survive.

“They dumped us here and we don’t have food and Ramadan is likely to begin tomorrow (Saturday). We are also begging that we should be taken to Kano State, because I am from Albasu local government area of Kano State. Some of our women and children have gotten lost in Kaduna.”
Oh please many wanted to go home they just didnt have the means stop selective reading people!

And how many of you actually help beggers. Abeg carry them comot jor

was that how the issue was address in countries like the u.s,this is political and nigerians fail to realise it , some have come out to say their debts are performing so whats cbn problem ,u dont just start going up and down causing tension ,check your books first release real figures, this banks will be taken over by some elites up north or those who were not favored by the consolidation, nigerias banking system is one of the safest in the world because they dont give loans anyhow and if they give its for those with good collateral so ,if they default auction the collateral simple,we are not changing at all.its a shame that nigerians are brainwash over and over again
Stop typing trash. What bank were you sacked from?

I am sure we havent seen anything yet,by the time yaradua leaves office then u will hear more,or u think all those PDP big wigs no dey owe bank money too?
But i have a problem with the way sanusi is going about the whole thing cos nigerians as dem be will neva trust any bank again, infact some wil not mind to build a whole house and lock their money inside instead of going to any bank.He should have stylishly reduce their powers and force them to resign so that the average nigerian will still have some confident in the banks.Ppl working n banks should start thinking of another job very fast cos by this time next year bullon vans wil be carrying money to ppls houses not banks again.
Imagine a bank marketer goes to alaba market today and expect to get em moni grin
No this is the best way public shaming. Its about time these greedy fat cats were stopped. All the others who are yet to be disgraced better start repaying asap

frankkky:
before we all jump to conclusions i am sure the banks had their reasons for giving out these loans, these are proffesionals lets not forget, right now the world is in the middle of a great recession so things like this are bound to happen, even in the advanced world, bad bank debts are all over the place, just as the western world has learned lack of proper conttrol over the banks can lead to things like this, having said the way out of this is to call the debtors and find out how they intend paying back these loans, use all legal means for those who are not willing to payback, instead of publishing names which may yeild nothing at the end of the day,and dont forget inability to payback a bank loan is not a criminal offence but a civil one(at least in the western world where i live)
The list is full of people who are stinking rich there is no excuse for them not to return every single naira they owe!

They deserve to be named and shamed
