Romance / Re: Cheating Partner: Do I Confront Him Or Walk Away? by LadyT(f): 1:26pm On Nov 01, 2012

Family / Re: Fallen Out Of Love With Husband by LadyT(f): 1:59am On Nov 01, 2012
Dont waste your time. Take your kids and money and leave. Your life is more important. If he really wants you back he will get a job repay you all the money he owes and sign a contract saying he will never hit you again or be abusive. If he does so again he needs to go to jail. You need to be tough on him for him to really show if he really intends on changing. If he doesnt change dont worry someone better is out there and even if they are not your role as a mother is the greatest thing you have and need to complete dont let him kill you
Family / Re: Children And Their Parent's unclothedness by LadyT(f): 1:31am On Nov 01, 2012

Family / Re: My Story, Women And Men, Read And Learn From It. by LadyT(f): 9:49pm On Apr 17, 2012
bayooooooo:

What type of house were you building for five years? Did you go to the building site everyday?
You are very naive for your husband to be bleeping someone under your nose for five years undetected! Behavioral wise either from your husband or employee, you should have noticed something awkward. Go and adopt a child and move on with your life!

The house didnt take 5 years to build! They started it three years into their marriage
Family / Re: My Story, Women And Men, Read And Learn From It. by LadyT(f): 9:47pm On Apr 17, 2012
Its your house you slaved away to help build it, you must stay put. God will answer your prayers I am sure. There is no reason why she has to stay in YOUR house I dont buy that. It is not a crime to be childless and you are not a criminal.

Your husband should feel total shame and total disgust with himself while you were running around to better your lives he was sleeping around.

Stay strong and now you know the only person you can trust is yourself and God.

Your tears will turn to joy!
Politics / Re: GEJ Commissions Almajiri Model School In Sokoto by LadyT(f): 11:34pm On Apr 11, 2012
Can I ask what curriculum these schools will follow? Will the students be asked to go out and beg?

To me this is just a stunt to appease Boko Haram!

Death to all Boko Haram and their supporters may you never know peace. angry

oyb:

the horror of cheap internet

too many kids who are best suited to debating on who has the best house on mtv cribs come to the politics section with nothing but empty arguments

you can bet while most of us watched noi making a fool of herself on channels, they were watching some music channel or reality tv show.

i doubt if they even know what station channels is

all they have are the typical empty arguments by people who have no idea how to measure acheivement.

what have you done in your own life etal. because of these kids, one sometimes almost wishes the subsidy had come through.i suspect they are the ones who will be serously hit by it when dad/mum cuts credit money to save costs

Thank you!!!!
Politics / Re: A Strong Case For NOI World Bank Presidency by LadyT(f): 8:25am On Mar 25, 2012
This is a pointless debate if NOI supporters don't have any facts to backup why she is right for the job. Telling me I sound dumb for stating exactly what she said live on TV is pointless. You need to do better or stay silent.
BlackPikiN:

Mehn, you sound so dumb.
I mean flat dumbo!
Politics / Re: A Strong Case For NOI World Bank Presidency by LadyT(f): 11:21pm On Mar 24, 2012
PHIPEX: I don't engage in faceless warfare bt I find your reaction very funny, if u felt this bad by my comment how come u lost all respect for a woman that is old enough to be your mother? (U can go 2ru ur comment again). That some persons are public officeholders doesn't make them public slaves. One thing I know is that respect is reciprocal if u want to be respected then learn to talk to others wt respect. Make u no vex if u think I insulted ur ego. Moreso if u say the issue is about Nigeria alone then u hv missed the bigger picture, its nt just about Nigeria bt about Africa, its about developing countries, womanhood and general change in status-quo. Let's nt allow a mere subsidy debate rob us all of this bigger dream else we may all endup as "pennywise and pound foolish"

You dont have a point you asked me what I was doing when NOI was busy getting her creditals after insulting me with some wack comment about running after some guy in the village. If you cant take it dont dish it out. You are the one who lacks respect re read what you orignally wrote to me I dont know you from Adam.

You dont have a point its about Africa please for the the love of God almighty we must remove the tree trunks from our own eyes in nigeria first before we worry about the tooth pick in Africans eyes. How does a world bank really benefit the world

And how can you belittle the ridiculous fuel subsidy debacle. This woman was party to an unstainable budget and the only way to fund this budget was to inflict hardship on the masses. This is incompentance my friend!
Politics / Re: A Strong Case For NOI World Bank Presidency by LadyT(f): 7:57pm On Mar 24, 2012
PHIPEX: I didn't want to respond until I noticed that ur a lady who instead of being happy that for once someone of ur gender is being tipped to lead this great institution is busy with hatred and deceit. Where were u when she was gathering her credential? I guess u were busy targetting d richest boy in ur community to befriend. Pardon my anger but this discuss has truely opened my young eyes further to the saying that an enemy at home is more dangerous than the enemy without. Very soon another urgly news will emanate from 9ja and we all will as usual blame d international community for portraying us in bad light. How much of d Korean do u know to believe that he is better than NOI if not hatred?

Is that the best you could come up with cheap personal insults? you really do not want to start what you cannot finish.

You really think true intelliegence is measured by studying text and cramming it and then answering a set of SET questions with a set answer
Where was I when she was doing her studying Probably in my mothers womb. And not chasing some rich boy maybe there was what your mother was doing when NOI was busy getting her credentials I dont know please ask her.

That is not intelligence. You have not addressed any of the points I bought up such how could you even dare claim she spent 4 months on a budget where the president spends 1billion naira on food!

We dont care about the world bank we are concerned about Nigeria and the task at hand.
Politics / Re: A Strong Case For NOI World Bank Presidency by LadyT(f): 2:58pm On Mar 24, 2012
Please let's be serious for a mintue. NOI is the definition of incompetent let's cast our minds back to the fuel subsidy drama. During the interrogation at the senate or wherever is was. I watched NOI live state that her first 4 months in office were spent doing the budget so she had no clue about subsidy cabals etc. someone who claims to be educated spent 4 months signing off one of the more greedy corrupt inexcusable budgets known to man. She is a useless entity maybe it's the puff puff in her cheeks giving her problems I don't know. But it would be a big insult to every Nigerian for NOI and the word development to be used in the same sentence.
Health / Re: Please Help Save Oke's Legs And Life (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT..........) by LadyT(f): 9:20pm On Mar 21, 2012
ifyalways: LadyT, I asked him how come the legs looked ok and very different from what was posted online and his reply is up there.

And from what I saw, I came up with 3 guesses, dunno how you missed the last one which was that "the legs are healed or cured now"

I might be bling or silly but the bandaged ankle I saw is most definitely not any thing as "bad" as the leg posted on this thread.

I didnt miss anything. But you are missing my point. Stating that you think the legs are cured /healed now is still saying this is a scam. Anyway each to their own. But you are already recieving phonecalls I just think its not smart to state things if you are not 100% sure you didnt see what was under the band aids we know that for a fact. Just be careful please people are crazy.

But I guess you believe you know what you are doing. Each to their own sha.
Health / Re: Please Help Save Oke's Legs And Life (WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT..........) by LadyT(f): 8:56pm On Mar 21, 2012
I think the problem here and the reason the word SCAM is being branded about the place is the fact IFY made a mistake. Im sorry to say this but to state that maybe the pictures of the rotting feet are someone elses is saying that this is a scam.

We need to be careful if we are not 100% sure of a certain situation. Its already all over twitter that Narailand people are claiming this is a scam and people are getting pissed off. I would not expect him to have the wounds wide open. And you cannot know what is under the bandages his feet are covered in.

It was a brave thing and kind thing to go and verify but maybe the questions you had should of been put to Oke while you were there like how comes he is able to wear shoes or walk.

I would of beat her too!

People need to learn if you want to shout shout but lashing out is uncalled for.

Next time just leave the room. Why she was goading you is beyond me.
Family / Re: thank you by LadyT(f): 11:36am On Mar 01, 2012
Some of you are making me laugh.

Write a set of rules out?
Pack out of the house?
Plant drugs in brothers room?

This is over the top and crazy we are nigerians remember!

Simply tell your husband you want to talk to your brother in law because you feel you may have offended him thats why he does what he does and treats you somehow (use sympathy method). Talk to the brother in law himself and clear the air (do this calmly). You said your husband notices the younger brothers behaviour. Im teling you one day his brother will snap and address the issue himself.

You need to ask yourself whats more important your marriage or some immature young boy? As long as he is not threathning in anyway he will leave soon enough. Try to bare it.
Family / Re: thank you by LadyT(f): 8:09pm On Feb 28, 2012
This is a horrible situation but its good your husband notices too.  But now it needs to be addressed have you considered talking to your brother in law and asking him why he treats you the way he does?

What budget are you speaking off? The way you guys pull numbers out of thin air is just remarkable, 75% of National budget goes to Wages and Allowance?

PointB:

There in no way in this world that Nigeria would accept subsidy removal without protest. However, the organisers lost the plot when they started murmuring 'regime change.'

My opinion on this saga is that since NOI resumed in September 2011, she has been taking a lot of time trying to unravel the mesh that is subsidy fraud. The decision to stop the subsidy was the missing link in the mesh. Being able to come this far into unravelling this mess in less than four months is very commendable.

Now let the heads roll!

Her head should roll first shes responsible for the budget. Have you seen that 75% of Nigerians money goes to goverment wages and allowance??
Politics / Re: Okonjo-iweala Testifies Before Subsidy Probe Committee - Live by LadyT(f): 2:09pm On Jan 19, 2012
Beaf please only a failed human being would inflict hardship on millions just to help expose corruption when she could of easily stated that certain practises needed investigation.

please stop your shameless and pointless over the top support.

I dont care shes only been there 4 or so months she herself stated that she spent 3 months on the disgusting and disgraceful budget where the president eats 1billion naira worth of food amongst other outrageous expenditure.

The budget is an awful piece of work

I am trying, really trying to understand what she is trying to justify with these rants. The dude asked a simple question. What level of sunsidy can Nigeria sustain without increasing just like it is done somewhere else? Just quote figures lady and stop the merry-go-round.

If we cannot afford it, let's just say so. I don't care how much oil Suadi, Quate and the US have got. How have we channelled ours?

She has no clue what is going on!!! A total disgrace
