sleekd:Bros-I have havnt received any email or post on this thread from you in at least 2 weeks. Last email from you was October 21st and last post on this thread before today was October 29th at 10.37pm Nigerian time. We have many customers with items delayed for as much as 2 months-and who are very angry with us but yours is not the case. Your console is already in Lagos based on shippers information and should be available for pick up this weekend. Sorry of its slowier than you wanted-but your item is within the time frame of delivery we specified in the front page of the thread. |
madridfc:That is a dual core laptop. With proper planning, bulk cash and basic repair skills-you can land the same/similar laptops in Lagos for as low as 17k. And even if you are buying ready to go on Craigslist -you can buy and get to land in Nigeria for as low as 25k. Ebay is more expensive for individual items than Craiglist because Ebay and Paypal take about 12% and then seller has to also add the cost of shipping. If you are importing laptops as a business-the way to go is not by buying one laptop for 30k-unless you have a ready customer with cash but buying direct from source in bulk and shipping by sea. Craigslist and Ebay will give you 1 laptop here and 2 laptops there. If you are buying 20 laptops or hundreds at the cheapest prices possible-you go to the source where those selling on ebay and craigslist get theres-which is also where the computer village sellers get theirs too. But when you have ready customers-who can pay- or you can get good prices that can let you land the item in Nigeria at a low price-its good to start buying 1 here and 2 there on Craigslist and Ebay. |

chaloner:Thanks We always carry people along-any thing you want us to look for or update you on-let us know. Pick updates are ALWAYS sent to directly to the owners to avoid " impersonation" . I had requests from 4 different nairalanders starting with @homguy-thus the post of cars all last week. The posting of cars for sale-has nothing to do with updates and pick ups. Several months ago-I was posting clothes and shoes for some nairalanders who were buying items from Goodwill stores. We have hundreds of laptops for sale-but: 1) We want to clear all items paid for before advertising new ones. 2) We have about 30 laptops already shipped to Nigeria that we will sell on arrival at the end of the month. |

Scam Alerts As the year comes to end-scammers are becoming desperate -looking for money for Christmas!. On Nairaland-the method used to be scammers sending people emails while impersonating thread owners and then giving people fake bank accounts. Now they have taken a new direction-they register usernames similar to the owner/originator of a thread. For example-one of the scammers has registered the username Lagtech1 -and is sending messages to people making offers. Please dont fall for this-all offers we make are either on this thread or our website. USA Thieves People ordering items from Ebay and other websites should please make sure that they do the following: 1) Inform me before any item is shipped to our USA office 2) Ensure that the seller adds a tracking number 3) Track the items themselves 4) Make sure that I know the day the item is scheduled to arrive This is because thieves are now stealing packages left by courier companies. If you dont follow the steps outline above-you may loose your itemte and neither Ebay nor your seller may give a refund. The story below is about recent thefts here. Please dont rely on the last sentence in the story -Ebay wont replace your item! http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2014/11/05/champlin-residents-becoming-vigilant-over-package-thefts/ MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The holiday shopping season is around the corner, and police have a warning: Be careful when getting packages delivered to your home when you aren’t there. Last Friday and Saturday in Champlin, police received two reports of packages stolen from doorways in the middle of the afternoon. But one of them happened at a house where a security camera was rolling, and the face of one of the thieves is clearly visible. Champlin Police Det. Brian Wentworth admits that it’s an easy crime to pull off, with so many delivery trucks driving through neighborhoods every day, and homeowners often not home. “They saw the package there and they drove up, they knew what they were doing, they opened the door and put the package in and drove off. And … in less than 20 seconds, they were outta there,” Wentworth said. Police say they’ve been able to identify one of the thieves. His image in the video matches the photo I.D. of a man who sold a new vacuum cleaner to a pawn shop in Coon Rapids. That’s what was in the stolen package. “People could probably deter some of this by maybe having the packages delivered to the back of their residence, maybe to a porch or deck, or maybe even having the package delivered to a neighbor,” Wentworth said. Melissa Jurgens is an administrator of the Champlin Community Facebook page. She posted the security cam video of last week’s theft. “Within 24 to 48 hours, how many people have seen this video, seen the picture of the guy and spread this message and shared it with others,” Jurgens said. “It’s a great use of social media.” She says the crime has led many people in Champlin to make arrangements with their neighbors when it comes to package deliveries. People are also becoming more vigilant about what’s happening on their street. “People are saying they think they have seen this person, so it’s only a matter of time,” she said. “Social media and this community and how close knit we are, sharing the story, it’s only a matter of time.” Champlin Police say they were just contacted by Brooklyn Center Police, where they believe the same suspects committed a similar crime. Because the stolen item was valued at about $100, the thieves are likely looking at a misdemeanor theft charge if they are caught. Had it been a more expensive item, the charge would be more serious. It’s possible they are responsible for additional thefts. The woman who shared the security video with WCCO says she and her husband ordered that vacuum cleaner on Amazon.com. When she contacted the company to let them know it had been stolen, they replaced it for free. |
felibrain:Ok-will reply. |
papiforreal:Amen. |
Elemental:Good doing business with you. |
crudedude:Its a pleasure. Just replying messages. |
femexsp:Check your emails on Sunday-all items are enroute except the last set of boxes. |
tradeplusib:I have been away since Thursday-most emails and messages have not been replied-so I am just seeing this now. Thank God that the laptop was not purchased from a stranger on Craigslist-it came from a trusted seller who works with one of the top 25 companies in the USA. Infact it was @DrSodd-a Nairalander who first linked me to him and many Nairalanders have gotten laptops from him-directly and indirectly including Confluence , Nostalgia and the Prinicipal of one of the schools that we supply laptops to. I have gotten over 30 laptops from this seller. His items can be trusted. Many companies put security features on their computers and many months or years down the road-they are sold off-without the features being removed. I will contact him and reply your email. |
i cant even see my name on that list!!!!
