@AJ-Your engine parts arrived from China. Your package is also in Lagos-arrived on Thursday. We were to pick up today-but our man at the Post Office said Customs sent a note asking us to pay 50k. We have already paid almost 50k this week in Ekiti and Lagos. We have to delay picking up as our budget was 8k-not 50k.

biz2get: put yourself in newbie shoes, assuming you go from pag 1 to 100 and all yuu read was "thanks" "got it" "you deliver" and the you put your money in line expecting next week. and next week you get disappointed what would yuu say in you mind?? "if i had known, i would just find something else todo"

thats my point ... if we your customers face any difficulties we should come here and express our feeling to the general and not hide it to your mail box alone!

we all know its importation biz, but most of us are not importing to use this items but to sell.... and we all work with time
if yuu Bleep up then it means our bizness is fuc'ked up nd we begin to lose customers but on your side yuu have gottn your money which on a normal day isnt coo! so we should know what we are '"going into'" time = 31days

you need to state on your front page that yuu ship "once in two weeks" its better understood that way than "every wed/thurs" which isnt it.

And I have to come to the conclusion that either you dont understand how this business works or you have some score to settle. READ OUR POLICY BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH US. ASK QUESTIONS.
Its the same way you wrote last week that you have waited for 2 weeks for your item-when you had just ordered 6 days before-not that [i]that [/i]item had shipped 6 days before-but you just ordered 6 days before. And yet you told everyone that Lagetch had disappointed you-I asked you how we had disappointed you -and there was no definite response to it.
I really dont like responding to posts like this-it derails the purpose of the thread;but since its a public forum-not replying and correcting the facts gives room for more doubts.
Of course I put myself in 'newbie' shoes-how would we run a business if we didnt put ourselves in their shoes.
Why is anyone putting their money on the line and waiting week after week. This is a simple business-you order for something we ship it-if anything goes wrong-we give the customer options.

Whats with the 31 days that you say you are going? And who told you we ship every 2 weeks? Where you get these ideas from -I really have no idea.
Concerning your order-you said you would not be in Nigeria to pick up on the 16th (yesterday) and I requested 9 days ago for your bank account to make a refund-up to this moment you are yet to send that bank account-please dont say that we delayed refunding your money-kindly send the bank account.
This is an importation business-there will ALWAYS BE DELAYS-whether its 1 day or 1 month. Customs can hold goods-shippers can delay-government can change policies,but we ALWAYS guarantee our clients goods. This business is not for everyone. Just like no business is for everyone. You make your calculations and make your move. There is nothing better than peace of mind. No amount of money can equal peace of mind. As Sunnny Ojeagbase said: we prefer to make our money with peace of mind. If peace of mind is not part of the package -we are not interested-no matter the amount involved.
Over 90% of people who have ordered things from us have gotten their items in 9 to 12 days.
With the exception of 2 people EVERY SINGLE PERSON (of about 10 ) who has experienced a delay-HAS previously received items in good time -some as quick as 6 days.
No business can claim 100% perfection-its nor possible in an imperfect world-but we strive for it.
We have had clients who have ordered over 50 items- week after week. 90% of our clients have ordered things more than 3 times-me must be doing something right despite our imperfection-or they wouldnt come back. If you order from our inventory and are not pleased-we are more than happy to make a refund. We may be accused of delays-but never of fraud.

We dont Bleep up people in this business-we render service.

Every single week we get payments of 300k to 1 million naira and it increases week by week.
Every single week-we deliver items to people -in almost every state of the Federation.
Between March and August -we have had Nairaland clients from China, the UK, Singapore and Dubai.
2 weeks ago-we had our first Nairaland client from Ghana who made a 170K order and is set to make a 800k order.
Yesterday-we got our first enquiry from a Nairalander in South Africa.
We serve our clients to the maximum. Nothing stops us from giving our clients the best...whether it be rain, snow,storms, tornadoes, the sun...not even Boko Harem and Ebola can stop us.

Did you read Page 1 of the thread before ordering-where these points are clearly explained:

-We do not control shipping. Customers are free to choose their own method of shipping.
-We recommend Standard shipping. Our shippers are reliable and trustworthy. It takes an average of 9 to 12 days to arrive . Some times -items are delayed up to 21 days or more.
-There are forms of shipping that can land in Naija in 1 to 7 days with tracking number.

We have been in this business for many years. We started this Nairaland aspect on March 23rd-
-We have delivered over 20 shipments of over 500 items worth millions of naira to a large number of people-many of whom have imported multiple times. People have ordered once, twice, thrice and more. There are people who ordered in March and still ordered in August-if they were "getting into something bad"-they would have stopped ordering by now.

@Balogunsam- Bro I feel your pain-but why would you call yourself disposable. I know how much interest and plans you have for this importation businesss. And to be delayed like this can make anyone angry. We are really doing our best to make everything better. Please bear with us and try and understand better with us. There is no way we can take you or any of our clients for granted-haba-thats not our style -you are special to us.
We can never take you for granted. You know that all the other items you ordered through us-the HP Ultrabook, the netbook, the Camera were all delivered in record time-some as quick as 7 to 10 days. We even shipped the IPad and camera by USPS courier at NO extra cost to you and it landed in 7 days. We didnt even charge you ANY COMMISSION for the Amazon items: Camera, Batteries, BAG. Even the ultrabook you ordered-you know the stress we went through with the first seller-who wasted my time in Minneapolis. I drove all the way to that location-and the seller kept changing his location. I had to assume that he was a prankster or maybe an armed robber-and sharp sharp I used my Naija mind to vamoose. That was like $20 in petrol cost down the drain-a cost we bore ourselves-we didnt charge you a kobo. We go the extra mile for our customers, because when they succeed-we succeed too.
The May 28th orders were a serious issue for us and many items were 'lost' -though we have been able to put everything right. When we could no longer wait for the arrival-I had to ship new items for you and the other people in that category. And of the 7 laptops you ordered back then-5 of them have already landed almost 2 months ago-although you decided to rejected the Gateway laptops -I thought you would like that bigger Gateway especially since it has 320gb hard drive and a 11 inch screen. And when you complained that the the two acers sent to you over 2 months ago had batteries with low life -I ordered brand new batteries at no cost to you. You have to agree that we have never taken you for granted. Not replying your PING for 7 hours. That happens a lot. I get over 200 messages a day-sometimes I have 20 people pinging me at the same time-and because of the 6 to 7 hours time difference between Nigeria and the USA-many pings will be replied late. You usually ping me around 10pm to Midnight USA time-at that time Im usually working online and not with the phone-so its possible I may not respond till morning in the USA -5 TO 8 hours later.

Shipping can be a nightmare. Just this morning Customs asked us to bring almost 50k to come and clear our latest items by USPS -50K HABA-when we budgeted only 8k! We paid only 5k the first USPS delivery we had. Where do I get 50k from after already paying 50k to ship!!!. This week alone we have already paid almost 100k to clear goods in Ado Ekiti and Lagos. Now to pay that 50k-we are going to have to wait at least 1 week before we pick up-you can see some of the challenges we face. Customs in Nigeria has become something else. Imagine they valued 3 pentium M laptops at N180,000 value. Pentium M laptops that sell for barely 25k in Lagos.
