How can u equivalent Phd with mbbs do u think we are daft here, after your mbbs you can still go for Msc in gynecologist, Msc in hematology, Msc in radiology, Msc in mental health, Msc in paedatric(child), and a lot. I've a friend that are doing Msc after mbbs, we have professor in O and G, Radiology and lot. Pls don't compare mbbs just a first degree with any postgraduate degree.

I said in the USA, not in Nigeria...... That's why you have to get a degree first before going to medical school, and that's why foreign doctors have to write all three exams before getting license to practice there....

The Nigerian system is a hogwash. If there was an overhaul in the education sector we would produce better graduates that can compete anywhere in the world... And we won't be arguing here because of NBTE job (I'm not even arguing with you anyway)

MBBS is equivalent to Bsc that's why is Bachelor of Medicine, and Surgery same with Bachelor of Science. If MBBS is on the list then you have an edge

Staff of NBTE are not working in any tertiary institutions, NBTE is a regulatory agency as such there staff are only deploy periodically to the concern schools for regulatory purposes particularly courses accreditation. There headquarter is in kaduna with zonal offices in the six geo-political zones across the nation. So if are employed you will either work at there headquarter or in any zonal offices across the country.

No one would ever dispute the importance of paramedics in any part of the world. They give basic first aid, splint fractures, give 02 and others if necessary, take vital signs, and still get basic history and quick general examination to the emergency doctors at the tertiary care...

Too many incompetent doctors in Nigeria. This boy should be administered with high dosage of CIPRO/Ciprofloxacin immediately with a lot of water consumption every two hours. Google Cipro and see what it does.

The Cipro/Ciprofloxacin is an off the counter medicine in the US for kidney infection, acute urinary tract infection, liver problem. I know a Nigerian with same health issue in the US that Cipro was the medicine prescribed to him. My friend began to urinate like every twenty minutes after taking Cipro. The swollen legs, hands and face disappeared within four hours after taking Cipro and a lot of water. He became healthy within 16 hours and normal.

Ask doctor in Nigeria to prescribe Cipro or Ciprofloxin to this boy immediately. The medicine must be taken every 12 hours. Take in the morning before taking any food and take 12 hours later in the night. He needs to keep drinking water even without being thirsty.

I hope they have Cipro or Ciprofloxacin in Nigeria

To make this comparison, researchers in Sweden conducted a study among 248 women with acute, community-acquired kidney infections.[2] Most of the women had uncomplicated infections.
