Business / Re: CBN To Issue N5, N10, And N50 Notes In Polymer Substrate Like The N20 Note by Laibankz: 4:19pm On Sep 18, 2009
i freaking hate this country, this so called leaders lay more emphasis on monetary issues instead of seeing to the needs of the common Nigerians. what is my business with CBN issuing the lower denomination notes in Polymer. we hear billions everyday and we are not seeing the effect of this money they pump in. Electricity is the main problem in this country and i think they should find a lasting solution to the problem instead of wasting so much money on things that is irrelevant to the suffering Nigerians.

Religion / Re: My Friend Hates God. Don't Know What To Do. Advice by Laibankz: 12:31pm On Aug 14, 2008
@poster
i dont knw y people doubt d existence of God?
ask your friend how his forefathers were created, definately he cant answer dat.
though it can b confusung @times but we just have to accept that God lives and he is the supreme being
My dear if he tries to find the existence of God he would only be wasting his time.
Offer him a bible and as a christian brother make him know that what is happenin now is for a reason and it will end soon.
Good luck bro!!!!!

Politics / Re: Abuja CCTV's Are Not Functional by Laibankz: 10:26am On Aug 07, 2008
CCTV camera can NEVER work in NIGERIA,
if the goverment wants to make use of CCTV cameras they should start thinking of providing a proper database information of all Nigerian citizens in the through the world.
For instance, if there is an issue of crime in any part of the abuja and they successfully got his or her picture how would get their names and details through the picture?
let the government start with the database thing before thinking of CCTV.
Politics / Re: Ex Imo Deputy Governors’s Daughter Arranged Own Kidnap by Laibankz: 9:52am On Aug 07, 2008
Lets be straight we Nigerians are Corrupt because we were born into in it.
Corruption did not start 10yrs ago neither did it start 20 or 30yrs ago.
I dont blame that lady at all. if you check her father well he would have embezzled the whole of Imo state during his regime.
N5M is not a small money at all and for a Goverment worker who claimed to have been vindicated from Corruption will find it had to drop that amount of money if its going to cost his daugther's life.
The girl is wise and she has seen her father shady doing we he was in office.
i feel the girl and her friends should be punished for wasting the policemen time and made to face the court of law
Politics / Re: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by Laibankz: 9:35am On Aug 07, 2008
Weather demoted or not am not concerned,
The question i ask myself all this so called Efcc Officials are they above the word "Corruption"?
Just this morning i heard they arrested Bode George, Job well done!!!! now the next thing we hear is that he has been granted bail, case closed!!!!
So even if they demote him to a D.P.O i dont care because ALL POLICE MEN ARE CORRUPT!!!
Business / Re: Banks And Interswitch To Increase ATM Charges by Laibankz: 9:25am On Aug 07, 2008
In my own view i see ATM cards and Machines as a convinient means of withdrawing money.
The idea was to reduce the number of people in the banking hall, withdraw your money anytime you like and also for easy transactions.
Why then will these banks be charging customers anyhow? for heavens sake, N150 is too much
Recently i entered Oceanic Bank and they informed all customer who wants to withdraw any amount less than N100000 should make use of the ATM if not they would be charged.
Are ATM machines now by force or by choice?if they are encourging customers to use ATM Machines then they should improve their service, provide more ATM Machines and try to reduce this high charges.

Career / My Salary Account Was Credited Twice by Laibankz: 9:27am On Aug 04, 2008
Hi Nairalanders

I am a corper in one of this new indigenous oil companies in Lagos. I was asked to open a salary account in November 2007 of which i did.
In March 2008 i noticed my was credited twice and wanted to raise an alarm but i later changed my mind.
It happened again in April and till last month i have been recieving double of my salary.
I withdrew the money and placed it in my second account(still complete).
I later discovered that their system was the one given this "Blessing"
Am confused because i dont know how to go about this consistent issue.
I feel this is a blessing from God and its definately not my fault.
Should i raise an alarm now or still keep quiet?
really need your replies,
Thanks

Romance / We Just And Met We Are Talking Marriage by Laibankz: 9:59am On Jul 28, 2008
Hi guys
Firstly i thanks God for this Nairaland of a thing because various opinions has really helped me in taking decisions.

Recently i have an issue at hand and i don't know the best means on how to solve it. I met this lady through this text a pal of a thing(text CHAT to 3900). We had a brief chat and later lost contact. Months later she called and re-introduced herself. I welcomed her warmly and started chatting again. We exchanged phone numbers and started calling eachother. Till now we haven't met but we both have an idea of how we look like through pictures. Before i had this high taste for pretty girls but now i have chosen to go for the less pretty but presentable ones.To my suprise i found myself falling in love and started talking about marriage to her and i think she is showing some interests. With the little chats and phone conversations we've had, i think she's good and she portrayed herself to be a focused and ambitious type. Now my questions are
1. Am i taking a big risk and what will the outcome be like?
2.What if i dont like her physical appearance?because at times pictures can be decieving

Education / Re: Which Is Better? Covenant University Or Babcock University by Laibankz: 1:18pm On Jul 23, 2008
Simy what's your arguement? that convenant is better than babcock? i guess you graduated from convenant or still a student.
let me make this clear Babcock is far better than Convenant,
My dear its not all about the building structures or how fine the school is but how knowledge is being imapcted into the students.
No doubts babcock hasnt got the structures but remember they converted from a seminary school to a University so you dont expect much.
Harvard University of today made their name from there successful alumni.
so what makes a university is not only by the structures or rules guiding it but by the alumni of such schools
so before making any blur conclusion have you made your research on how both schools graduates are performing in the labour market?
i had an encounter with a convenant graduate, My God he was unable to express himself like a graduate.am not generalising but just want you to know that babcock graduates are well respected by employers. Most babcock graduates are ruling the labour market especially in the banking sector.
so before you open ur mouth to make such blur conclusions, please open your eyes and ears to concrete facts ok?
Education / Re: Information On Babcock University Ilisan-Remo, Ogun State by Laibankz: 10:45am On Jun 25, 2008
God Bless that school!!!!
i graduated from BU last year and i can testify dat the school is of high standard.
Though d social life was dead wen i entered but before i left it was coming up and i think by now it should be ranked 70%
Babcock University is a school i would like to go again and again.
your 4yrz or 5yrz depending on the course you want to study is certained and it cannot be extended except you choose to
so any speculation that babcock university is on the negative side is false.

Education / International Business Or Human Resources Management by Laibankz: 12:12pm On Jun 24, 2008
Hi
I am thinking of doing a postgraduate degree in Uk. I am kind of confused because i don't know which one of these courses will benefit me the most.
Looking at Nigeria as a practical example i have discovered women occupy the HRM positions and little or no men are interested for position.
I also discovered HRM is limited and may not be able to work in other departments.
I really don't know much about International Business and its benefits.

I will like to hear your opinion and would be very glad if your can share your experiences with me.
Thanks,
Olaide

Come to think of it,i tot guys value a lady that they fought so hard to get and take for granted or despises a lady they got so easily?or is it nw the other way round?if u play soft/easy to get they say u re cheap and loosed,u playing hard 2 get now and it's a different ball game all together.na wa oooo

Hey miss this senerio has happen to me. it was obvious the girl was in love and i took that advantage to help her out with a clean and honest heart but all i got was this hard to get attitude haba!!!!
its a different thing when a girl is dying to meet this guy and God answers her prayers and a different thing when a guy declares his intensions without the girl liking him at first.
