I had this dream recently where I saw myself as a football player playing for one big Italian team, what happened was that we went to play a particular match at a stadium somewhere so when we finished the match I couldn't go with the team bus when it was due to depart so when I was arranging my boot into my small bag to leave another team bus arrived with its players to play too, at this stage I overheard the security guard in charge of stadium saying look at how poor this team bus is compared to ours that just finished playing, so unkempt poor and so on, the security was just lampooning the other team for been poor and using a very not Up to standard team bus. So I have to walk up to the security man and told him to not compare the two teams together cos the journey and experience of both differs and that what my team has passed through to get to where they are today this other team has not and I was able to explain to him not to judge the other team that way before I left the stadium.

After leaving the stadium I saw myself walking through a street in an estate and in this street there is a deserted estate or I will say village cos the buildings I saw were like huts and houses of old but no one was leaving there everywhere was silent so as I was passing through I was looking at the houses and saying in my mind that many years ago people reside in this place, and that they will even have a king and community heads but today it has become a story that most if not all that reside there would have been in grave by now. As I was deep in this thought I was able to see the back of this houses and there was a farmland where cassava was planted all through and I was like a once residential area has now become a farmland and it was at this point I woke up and since then this dream refuse to leave me....
I need someone to just help me break it down to my understanding biko..

You right bro but you know its this same hypocrisy Jesus saw among the priests also but that did not deter him from carrying out the work of his father, at some point he fought those buying and selling in front of the church who turn the sanctuary into buying and selling...
If you continue taking it that way citing Ibiyeime as an example for the reason you not going to church again you will be carrying grudges that will not allow your heart be free to serve God in truth and in spirit.

I think I have many reasons:

First I have issues with pastors and certain members. The Pastors think they are holier than thou. They feel they are closer to God..than you. Many pastors n their followers don't have the fruit of the spirit. We have seen their behavior can I start to mention? See the way Ibiyiemi behaved recently?...some xtians will tell u not to look at them but Christ. But when they want to collect tithe , they won't ask Christ directly for the tithe.. I remember I went to Mountain of Fire at Igbefun Round about Lekki..the ushers removed chair from my waist..I almost fell on the ground...I was waiting after closing for friend inside...not even up to 5mins, they came like rioters, dragging chairs...na wa for those people

Another reason is offering n tithe.i prefer to give to the poor than these jet and Aeroplane, designer wearing pastors. They are so worldly ..
they fry their hair and marry fair and the most beautiful ladies. They hardly marry the ugly ones.

Summary..in Nigeria, church is business.

I prefer to worship God at home and do good deeds. He lives in me. I love my God. I don't need a fellow human to tell me he sees God ..or God spoke to him

If these are some of your reasons then I must say you have a good heart but can you just be blind to the pastors and enter the sanctuary to serve God I will implore you please do...The church is a place of prayer Isaiah 56:7
