Politicians have devalued academics in Nigeria making the office of a professor less attractive e.g during electoral processes that's where You will know that some of this professors are incompetent.

But I always cherish my Supervisor/Professor who supervised my final year project he made me fell in love with Chemistry from my year 1 till I graduated and I was fortunate to still be assigned under him in my finals, He made me enjoy the joy of doing research as an undergraduate then, I pray for him everyday that the knowledge of Chemistry he instill in me together with his colleagues I will continue to teach other Chemistry students till I attain that professorship level too.
