It’s all but clear that local criminals are now part of the imbeciles causing insecurity in the state….and it was just a question of when not if they will get involved! It’s not a black or white thing! Analysing what’s going on in the south-east requires a nuanced approach based on the peculiarities of each individual case! For instance, a case of kidnapping for ransom and criminals demanding protection money from locals.…one can see this is plain criminality driven by greed, and the culprits in all likelihood could be Igbo! However, kidnapping a high-profile individual (Igbo)…holding them down and taking delight in cutting off their head while recording the evil act…then uploading the results on social-media for the entire world to see, while intentionally leaving markers pointing to IPOB/ESN….all this is obvious, even to a 10 year old kid that watches Colombo detective series on tv every weekend, that it’s a false-flag operation….a setup aimed at trying to implicate the secessionist organisation! In Nigeria, it’s mainly the muslim core north…and their cousins from as far off as Niger Republic and the Futa Djallon highlands, that produce characters capable of this kind of senseless and gratuitous violence! The statements are actually necessary. Not every "start work" rush is desirable. If it's not well thought out.

Soludo should declare 100 Meters on both sides of the expressway from Awka - to - Onitsha as a special economic zone. I honestly don't see any city in Anambra having a central business district. Unless this approach is implemented. Where they will allow only corporate headquarters of companies, business parks, etc along the stretch of the expressway from Awka to Onitsha. In that way, multi-national companies and indigenous companies can gradually transform that stretch into a true economic corridor easily accessed by a highway.

A similar strategy is used by the small state of Connecticut in the US. That dedicated its highway to New York as a special economic corridor so that companies that are choked by New York traffic can locate themselves in Connecticut - to - New York expressway.
