This was the post by the Finland IPOB member that infuriated ndi Anambra. Simeon Ekpa threatened the good people of Anambra if they flout Monday’s sit at home and dared Soludo. But in what seemed like a rage of anger Anambrarians gave him a serious warning and had his account reported on Twitter.

Anambra pple are no longer smiling with terrorists and they fully back their new Governor.

But I find it awkward that some pple are coercing the gov to engage the agberos with jobs and I lol .

We have graduates in Anambra state who are without govt jobs in d state and have decided to create jobs for themselves by being entrepreneurs but here we have some loud mouths saying the touts should be provided with jobs so that crime won’t be on d increase in the state

Agbero is a criminal act and shouldn’t be encouraged in our state...in fact, the act is alien to ndi Anambra. Anambrarians are hardworking pple...stop encouraging agberoism...let’s leave agberoism for pple of South west,that’s their way of life biko. Agberoism is stealing and not part of our culture. If govt decides to come in...they should be employed massively into ANS Waste ministry...these guys can be used as cleaners in d state...pack waste with govt trucks and get paid by govt. Most parts of the state is filled with dirt and garbage. We need a cleaner Anambra not touts hanging in every corner and discouraging outsiders from bringing money to us. Traders from all over d country shouldn’t be avoiding Anambra because of touts in Onitsha...we need them to come bring that money for our pple.

Terrible idea to invite the president of Nigeria to commission projects executed by the state governor. Is governor Umahi or president Buhari getting credit for the execution of those projects? I have been saying for years that Nigerian politicians don't read the constitution before or after taking office. In the 1999 constitution of Nigeria, federal government have responsibilities. And so are the states governments. President Buhari should commission federal projects and governor Umahi should also commission Ebony state projects. So, Gov. Umahi invitation to president Buhari to come to Ebony state to commission projects executed by Ebony state shows Mr. Umahi is ignorance of the Nigerian constitution in which he was sworn in to uphold. In a constitutional democracy, the president does not commission states projects, the governor of the state does. That is why I am calling for governor Umahi resignation, ASAP.

Soludo is stating figures from the audited report of Dec 31, 2021. It is no secret that the Obiano administration was wasteful and highly corrupt for the better part of 6 years. His Awka flyovers for example were costed at over 13 billion naira from just 1 billion the Obi administration projected. He was spending over 20 billion naira a year or 20% of the budget maintaining a retinue of aides and special advisors. All these figures are openly available from Anambra Ministry of Finance.

The going will be tough for Soludo. The state government receives roughly 4 billion from FAAC and 3 billion from IGR per month. It spends around 3.5 billion on operations and almost 1 billion on debt servicing.

Soludo will not have the capital to do anything significant for at least a year. This is why he was talking taxes removing agbero from streets to shore up revenue and volunteerism. He will inevitably have to beg anambrarians for money via a diaspora fund or adopt a school, adopt a clinic, adopt a road programs.
