Man, I went to the Cyber cafe to download Virus Updates, Dumps for my exams as well as new Vista wall papers and

themes all of these really took my time That was why I really stayed out late (With the Lap top)
CrimeRe: Robbed At Gun Point by LanreDaMan(m): 1:13pm On Jun 02, 2007
I had the same experience last week Friday around 10.30 pm. My Laptop and my Phones were taken from me by 4 Kids on two bikes.

Report this case immediately to the nearest police station. Only God knows what datardly acts those Bastards can do with your Original Certificate. at least the Police report can cover you incase your cerificate comes up in another robbery scene or things like that.

And the police report will also help you recover some of these documents back.

Good Luck
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fa Cup Final Manchester United Vs Chelsea by LanreDaMan(m): 7:28pm On May 19, 2007
Unquestionably Chelsea desrved the victory

It's Unbeleivable that this Same Squad lost to Liverpool.

Although I found the Idea of a solo striker fraustrating it eventually paid off
SportsRe: Liverpool End Cheseal Dream, shame To All Chelsea Fans by LanreDaMan(m): 11:43am On May 02, 2007
Very painful But what can I say the better team won,

Could have been worse if not for Superb cech

Although Cech is terrible @ Penalties

A low shot will beat him anytime

We will try again next year hopefully with mourinho as our coach
SportsRe: After 120 Minutes The Blues Turned Red by LanreDaMan(m): 11:37am On May 02, 2007
Chelsea werent really convincing yesterday (I guess the strain has started to show)

If not for Cech it woul have ended 4-0

Liverpool were just plain dominant From Reina to crouch everybody was on fire

How for God's sake can mourhino expect only drogba alone to get the goals

Mourinho's tactics yesterday was not okay .

May be things might be a bit diffrent if Cavalho and Ballack Played and Essien came to the midfield

I really pray Mourinho doesnt get sacked , But if he gets sacked Let them Bring Lippi or Klinsmann
CareerRe: Career Change: From IT To Investment/Business Analysis by LanreDaMan(m): 2:35pm On Apr 07, 2007
Changing a career @ 33 might not really be the smartest thing to do, Especially in this our country,

You will have to seek on the job experience for at leat another 3 to 5 years by that time you will be between 36 and38

I think the shortcut here will be an MBA , and a Certificate in Project Management (PMP or ITIL) or even CISA

I think these two are career neutral and will enhance your chances of getting to the board level.

Pls I am not the baddie here I already said I am not a "FINANCIAL ANALYST"

NO name calling plsssss
CareerRe: At Last, UBA Has Reviewed Its Pay Upwards by LanreDaMan(m): 11:09am On Mar 27, 2007
UBA has over 300 branches across Nigeria 7 in Ghana, 1 in New-york and Is Planning to open one in London

UBA has over 900 billion Naira Asset base, I trillion in Balance sheet and Contingents I am not a

" FIANANCIAL ANALYST" but this is enough to proove beyond any reasonable doubt that it is the biggest in the

country and West Africa

Although lets be frank The Take home pay is not much when compared with the other banks

(That Discriminate with Age, Type of degrees, and class of degree )

UBA could adopt their strategy and pay so much to so few I think then you would be Happy

Nairalanders can be soooooo funny at times you applied you weren't invited and the next thing is you start making conspiracy theories. First one person said it is for only Friends and Families of the board of directors of the bank, others are saying it for mostly girls.

You dont know whether it's in batches or not

Keep your fingers crossed and dont hate

Each tailor has his own area of Specialization some Like (IGWE) is a Master at suits He Picks the suit materials I just show him what I want from a Catalogue and He sews it.
Others Like seedorf Are handy when it comes to Shirts Oke handles my Trousers.

Dont risk Trying to explain cos they handle so much work and they might forget or put your esign on someone else's clothing

EducationRe: Is Yabatech Now A University? by LanreDaMan(m): 5:08pm On Feb 04, 2007
I know a lot of my people in Yaba tech will crucify me for sayinng this but what the Hec

I think the F.g should concentrate more on developing the already existing university facilities rather than "UPGRADE" Polyechnics to universities.
Beleive me this is setting up a Precedence where all Polytechnics will clamour to be upgraded
The Solution is to harmonise all degrees so that HND will  not seen HND as lower when compared with  a Bachelors degree

And by the way what happens to past graduates do they still retain their HND or Get UPGRADED to a Bachelor status
