Just to add a little bit. Funding could be determined on the program you are pursuing. For instance with a first class in Economics, you may get no funding M.A. in Economics but with a 2:1 in Chemistry and addmission for M.Sc. Chemistry, funding is almost certain since it is a research program.

When you called their office and somebody happens to answer the phone, they feel as if they are doing you a favour. I dealt with them once to get an emergency travel document because my passport expired. The dude I spoke to was telling me it is not automatic. I basically told him off on the phone.

Those people don't care about how people feel. Imagine traveling from Calgary to Ottawa to find that Embassy closed. What a shame to the country. Beside why have only one office to serve Canada?

After reading all these comments, my impressions about we Nigerians have not changed a bit. We believed so much in miracles. Once the president is changed everything will be fine. So, as many people believe, Buhari will fix the nation once he gets to power. How will he fix it? He is a man of integrity. How will he reduce our high recurrent expenditure? No answer to that. How will he deal with the senate and house of rep? No answers to that. I will continue saying it, until our mentality changes there will be no change in Nigeria. It is time we start asking ourselves tough questions and not just who the president is.

There are some schools that do not recognize NECO outside of Nigeria. In Canada I know Univerisity of Alberta and Grant MacEwan University do not recognize NECo apart from if things have changed in the past 2 years.

@Cuddlemii  I can't say much about the school you mentioned. The most important thing is getting admission and performing excellently well. Each school has career fair and it's always time for employer to market their companies to students. In as much as going to a good school will enhance one's opportunity in getting a job, performance in school is also a very important variable. No one can guarrante you job no matter the school you go.

Ilegal businesses are not welcome here. Keep your South African passport to yourself.

@gel, Concordia University College is a Christian university (I'm not sure if it's private). It's a very small uni. There are only 2 grad programs which are Master of Information Systems Security Management and Master of Arts in Biblical and Christian Studies, As Rare said the school is not the most popular one in Alberta.

If anyone wants to apply for any Canadian visa the website to go to is http://www.cic.gc.ca. There is no need paying any agent to provide documents you don't have. Going to Jamaica will not change your chances of getting the visa. Don't allow any agent to decisive you. No agent can guarranttee visa and a genuine travel agent will include that disclaimer when signing documents with you.

There is no point in anyone going to Jamaica before going to Canada. What is the purpose of going to Jamaica? To obtain fake Jamaica passport and hopefully use that to apply for visa then get to Canada and claim refugee status? @Rare, thanks a lot for noticing that. That must be a recent change to the rule. I know people that have changed their status from visitors to workers or students recently.
