It's a herculian task to manipulate all polling units at once especially if you have deeply loyal Party Agents all over the country.

The results are known from polls on blow by blow accounts before the situation room gives you a headcount of votes.

I listened to his interview with Seun Okinbaloye yesterday. Adewole Adebayo is a highly celebral man who spoke strongly in favour of the coalition and Peter Obi.

The headline of this write-up is mischievous.

No Peter Agulu can stop Tinubu. Fayemi's first term was far better, structured and better planned than what is being experienced currently under BAO.

I have Ekiti running through me and also visit the place every month in the last 15 yrs with some assets there.

Fayemi dropped the ball in his second Term based on his Presidential ambition which was obvious as infrastructure and governance suffered significantly.

However, BAO's Administration is over-hyped by paid media supporters and sponsors like you.

Anytime I hear of developmental strides and endorsements of former Governors and Politicians for BAO, I always visit the state that weekend to compare notes with the word on the streets.

The optics are quite different from reality in Ekiti. I say it equivocally that in the first term of Fayemi as Governor in 206 I personally drove my Toyota Camry from the Osun Border Road (Aramoko Ekiti) to the Kogi Border (Omuo Ekiti) without experiencing a single pothole on the over 100km road.

All the Primary and Secondary schools had their classrooms renovated through the SUBEB and UBEC sponsored programme including "ALL" rural localites.

How will an overhead bridge of 1km be awarded for N18B haba ! This Bridge is built on Land and not in a water logged environment.

You are berating a working governor only to praise “oyinbo speaking” failure. Fayemi who couldn’t pay salaries of workers or embark on any serious projects. All he kept talking about was Ekiti is in debt only for Oyebanji to prove Fayemi choose to sabotage the people of Ekiti state.

Oyebanji’s administration came into office and consistently paid workers salary every month. He also paid pensioners their pension monthly which wasn’t happening under Fayemi. In addition, Oyebanji started paying the gratuity of the retirees which Fayemi said was impossible to pay. Mind you, all these started many months before the fuel subsidy money started coming in.

Saying Oyebanji isn’t doing any work is a lie especially in terms of road construction and renovation. If you are conversant with Ekiti very well, you will know that he has completed Ado-Ilawe road, Ayegunle-Ijurin-Iloro Road, Ilawe-Igede road amongst other roads. Work is currently ongoing (if not completed) on Ifaki-Ido Road, Ikere-Ilawe Road, Igbaraodo-Ikere Road, Awo-Ijero road, Igbole to Iropora axis, oye-Are road among other roads.

Funny enough, the Efon-Aramoko-Igede road you are talking about is a federal road and that road has been a topic of controversy for many years now. If you remember very well, Fayose (when he was the governor) once constructed a billboard along that road during Buhari’s administration stating it was a federal road. Afe Babalola, the Ewi of Ado and other prominent people of the state have appealed to the federal government in recent time concerning that road and other federal roads in the state and the federal government claims the contract have been awarded. Hopefully work will commence there soon.
