In a sane, egalitarian and morally upright country like Nigeria, Ganduje shouldnt be allowed to attend public functions.
His image of him stuffing his agbada with hard currency on camera and also the insistence of PBAT to retain him as the national chairman of the leading political party in Nigeria is bewildering and baffling.
Every sane Nigerian is trying to wrap their heads around this disgraceful decision to retain Gandollar as the APC Chairman, bad image and bad PR for the party. |

Stop it ! I mean stop it !!!!!!. It's the people Vs APC . We no dey give shi shi earned 6m Votes. Now we pull diaspora resource and legit clean money. How much is campaign when you have an organic love & resolve to conquer poverty. soojar: Some infants in politics will still tell you that as a governor he has just one vote.
Firstly just know that it is absolutely impossible for APC to have less than 30% to 40% of the votes cast in a presidential election in states the party is controlling, if you compared that with what they got in South South in 2023 then you know all these governors defecting is a big deal
Number 2, and the most important fact is that of finance. To run a party successfully, you need a lot of money, where will PDP get the money from, not to talk of forming a coalition, that one costs a fortune, where are they going to get the money for float the SDP coalition?
When APC was formed, the money of Rivers was there, Lagos money was there, Edo state money was there, the personal war chest of Tinubu was there as oil in the machinery of the coalition. Now, Delta money is gone, Akwa Ibom money is gone, Edo money gone, Rivers mega money about to go. All Tinubu is doing is just to starve the opposition of resources to mount any meaningful challenge.
summary, 2027 is already gone to APC except...

Political history is a relatable case study, did you ever give an Okada rider the benefit of being a House of Assembly member under LP in 2022. I say it will shock you. PBAT brought out his hand early, Opposition will rally around people not the elite in 2027. A man with no known structure won 6m Votes in 3 Months and you doubt the power of consensus. If you quote me sheepishly again.....Hmmmm Misterone: Yeye dey smell! You think sponsoring an election is like buying bread and butter? If the governor decamps, there's no way PDP will win Akwa Ibom state. As it stands, PDP is dead. No governor wants to fund the party. Wike that did so years back has withdrawn. |

That's the unfortunate scenario playing out in Nigeria today. theOracle17: If they ever release the money to them, it will end up in the pockets of the CV's and some other high ranking professors. Nobody will monitor what happens to the money. Tinubu taxes the poor heavily, releases the billions to governors and other ministries in a bid to get elected for second tern and goes to sleep and the money ends up in the pocket of few people. |

It's a good step.
Dear PBAT,
As long as your currency remains devalued, Medical Doctors will always migrate after you have spent humongous amount to train them.
The median salary structure of a surgeon in the USA is estimated between $500k- $1m per annum in Naira equivalent @ current exchange rate is N650m & N1.65Billon respectively per annum.
If your son Seyi- Tinubu sees such an opportunity will you tell him to stay back ?

Politics › Re: Tinubu's Government Has Failed On All Fronts, Says Sowore by Lanruze: 8:29pm On Apr 29, 2025 |
Propaganda doesn't last for long.
PBAT through the CBN and Ministry of Finance devalued the currency (Naira) to a point where once you earn in Naira, you are as good as a pauper.
Prof Charles Soludo said the depreciation and FX unification policy has created a money illusion, where you have more worthless naira in humongous proportion.
He gave an example of the over-hyped FAAC allocations that have surged in Naira terms and when converted to dollars is far lower than what Governors earned during the 2000's of the PDP years.
If you are broke and need money, just tell PBAT that you will help him secure victory in 2027, Voila !
You are in the good books of the President. |

What of the other cases mentioned including Ikpeazu, Beta Edu etc ? Senior clown. You better don't defend what you don't know and trust politicians at your own peril. .. AndroBlaze: Yes oooo, it must be EFCC's fault when a Judge refuses to convict someone who accepts that he paid his toddlers school fees from nursery to secondary school (14 years) in advance at one of the most expensive educational institutions in the world with cold hard dollars in cash ( in total I believe the sum was in millions).
Obviously the judge does not know that even if he was governor for 200 years his salary would never be enough to pay that school fees in lump sum the way he did for those kids and that no normal human being can act this way unless it was clear that he knew he would not be in charge of the source of funds any longer, thus the haste.
Surely EFFC and the people of Ikere-Ekiti deserve all the blame for providing such flimsy evidence and not the judges or the compromised judiciary that refuses to act on these things. Clown. |

I was a full grown adult in my thirties and can remember every bit of Okonjo Iweala's regime. You see, there are "local champions" and international stars, Wale Edun combined politics and technocratic experience whilst Okonjo Iweala was a core technocrat from the highest International Finance Agency in the world. Nigeria has N149trillion debt as at date, let Wale Edun negotiate or restructure the loan first then we will start from there. Hope you know the Nigerian Governors Forum took Okonjo Iweala to court on the Excess Crude Account initiative and the FG won. The Governors just wanted to spend and she stood her ground on the long term benefit. lailo: Children are the ones speaking jargon up there or let me just say igbo youths. Ngozi was minister when Nigeria was swimming in plenty amid high crude oil sales. Despite this excess money, she couldn't diversify the economy, and Nigeria just wasted the all the plenty rains days. Only good thing she did was to save as she had no idea on what to use the excess money to do. Poverty in Nigeria was very very high amid plentifullness. Minimum wage for workers was #7500. It was her time Idris Abdul Kareem sang the song "Nigeria Jagajaga", Blackface sang the song "Hardlife", Nice and 2shut sang the song "Make dem talk", African China sang the song "Mr President" and several other artistes expressed the unbearable state of the nation as at that time through their music. This same Ngozi came back again during Jonathan and even performed abysamlly lower to the extent of borrowing to pay workers salaries. No single achievement. Her incompetencv was exposed bcs during Jonathan period especially towards the end of his tenure, the only cash cow of the country OIL price slumped. She had at least an opportunity of 10 years to change Nigerias fortune as Finance Minister and Coordinating minister of the economy but she failed. She shamefully left the economy a monolith economy depending on only crude oil. You now want to compare that with someone who inherited a completely collapsed economy and within the shortest periods of two years has diversified the economy to Exportation, Tax and crude oil all competing same space in IGR. This is the first time effort is being made to diversify the economy using homegrown policies and the dude is pretty getting it. Wale removed fuel and dollar subsidies, Nigeria's growth killers that Ngozi abd the governments she served didn't have the spine to do? Why are u people so dumb and unappreciative? Bring Ngozi at this time of our nation after COVID 19 and with her IMF foreign based policy and see whether she will not be stoned to death. |

I totally agree with you. However, there are indices to measure the wealth and prosperity of nations per time and season. Indices like GDP, per Capita income, GNP, Product Manager Index (PMI) etc. The dimension of poverty under PBAT is at an excruciating dimension. An economist likened PBATs reforms to removing the tyres of a car while in motion.Poverty has been institutionalized as a weapon in Nigeria. ganilas007: They will hail okonjo someone that is borrowing to pay salaries 😁😁 . Nigeria was not in anyway better then all na scope even in 1990s millions of Nigerians has been hungry since time immemorial.
I Remembered growing up my dad was hiding for his landlord in 1996 and I asked myself now how much for a room that my dad could not pay and you telling me Nigeria is good then many times we can’t even afford Rodo pepper to eat we buy Dry pepper to eat and cut big onion inside serve as protein.
From my school to house is 10 naira bus even though it now 150 or 200 now I don’t know but as at then hundreds of students can’t afford it they will trek thier life out to/fro most times with empty stomach. Memories of how Nigeria was in 1990s Dey my head steady.
Am a travel consultant when Lagos - Europe // US tickets was below 100k how many Nigerians can afford it. Even now that is ranging from 800k-3m they afford it more.
When local tickets was 5-15k how many Nigerians enter plane.
Never will I justify all those rubbish politicians and the elites coz they are all heartless set of people but saying anyone is better is like a joke to me.
Nigerians have always been on survival mode except if you are opportune to be among the Elites. |

Stop comparing Light and Darkness.
1, GDP in 2014 = $510B (PDP) GDP in 2025= $189B (APC)
2, One has supervised the worst currency devaluation in Nigerian history from ; N700 -N1,625 -to $1 whilst Okonjo-Iwela Govt had it at $235 -$1.
3, Okonjo Iweala has used personal international influence to negotiate the biggest debt relief in the the recorded history of Nigeria.
4, Mrs Okonjo Iweala, Initiated the Excess crude account from proceeds of the windfall in surging oil prices and left over $30B at the end of the Obj regime.
5, She initiated the IPPIS payroll scheme using a World bank model of payroll transparency and also the GIFMIS payroll model in the Civil service saving the Government tons of funds in Ghost Workers salaries. |

You are a political neophyte in your submission. President Muhammed Buhari removed the Pipeline Surveillance contract from militants and restored the military in the creeks, the Oil Production went down and Tomopolo and other militants were apathetic to Buhari's regime as they were out of the scheme of things. Now Tompolo has gotten his rhythm back singing like a messiah because the most lucrative Government contract in Nigeria has been awarded to him. You think he is a fool not to defend his source of livelihood ?
