The super- greatest mistake any human being can make is marrying the wrong person.

If you want to know how "hell fire" looks like, marry the wrong person.

Which shoe my brother.

I major in this subject as a first degree to Msc and currently PhD.

If it his calling let him get proper tutilage and education on activism.

They pleaded off the radar for his release from the EFCC chairman and he came out and in less than 48 hours warning them on what allegations to level against him.

People like you na him go lead am into fire.

I saw VDMs appreciation post today and it was very heartwarming that he recognized Femi Falana (SAN).

My advice to him is that he should just stop the invincible above the law persona he thinks he has.

Asides from Barris. Adeyanju and Jojo of Lele, and his siblings, every other person did their #FreeVDM# move from the comfort of their phones.

The DSS and NIA may not be as nice as the EFCC and should tamper down on his mouth-running spree.

If he wants to do activism he needs proper education so he does it tactically.

The greatest activist in recorded Nigerian history was Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and he had his fair share with the authorities including the loss of his mother after she was brutalized.

VDM has organic love but let him know that no champion forever.

After God is Government, and if you like lay your life for people whey no send your papa.

PoliticsRe: IMF Debt Has Been Repaid, Move On - Kalu Aja by Lanruze: 3:43pm On May 08, 2025
I am surely not the person that wrote that the PBAT Administration borrowed $10B.

LegendHero:
Let’s not commit academic dishonesty here.

—If you say, Nigeria debt increase in Naira terms due to naira devaluation, you are right.

—If you say Nigeria debt increase in Naira because Tinubu government borrowed over $10bn more, then you are wrong.

This is a matter of English. Unfortunately, your own argument is the second one, which is wrong.
PoliticsRe: IMF Debt Has Been Repaid, Move On - Kalu Aja by Lanruze: 3:28pm On May 08, 2025
Which one is exchange rate differential.

Your AFREXIM loans signed with NNPC and are crude backed are what ?

Are they not loans ?

Those are not stated with DMO.

Putindbutt:
So, you didn't factor in exchange rate differential.
PoliticsRe: IMF Debt Has Been Repaid, Move On - Kalu Aja by Lanruze: 3:26pm On May 08, 2025
Lol ,

When allocations from FAAC improve based on the same devaluation of it's a selling point for the administration, but when the debts look humongous in Naira we should push to the background.

Also note that some AFREXIM Bank loans are not stated here and have two (2) consummated since PBAT became President.

Those one are backed by future production on crude.

LegendHero:
Bro read what you wrote nao. We borrow loan in USD, the difference you are seeing is due to the changes in exchange rate due to the devaluation.

--If you owe me $100 in 2023, you are owing me like 700K for example.
--If you owe me same $100 in 2025, you are owing me like 1.6M.

Can you say the increase is because "I borrowed more"?

Let us argue like learned people please. Tinubu has not borrowed any additional $10billion loan anywhere, who will even borrow us a lump sum like that?
PoliticsRe: IMF Debt Has Been Repaid, Move On - Kalu Aja by Lanruze: 2:37pm On May 08, 2025
The Debt Management Office is the go-to-agency which has the current stats and debt portfolio of the country and indeed our debt profile has increased from May 29, 2023 to Q1 2025.

May 29, 2023. = N91 trillion debt approx
March 2025 (Q1) = N141 trillion debt approx

N50 trillion additional debt from both domestic and foreign international lenders.

@ legend hero,

The IMF milestone is an achievement but we need to to be concerned about oil production in April 2025 at 1.5m bpd and crude at $60 per barrel.

The budget deficit if production is not ramped up may throw us into another set of borrowings or what do you think ?

LegendHero:
Oya show me proof from Worldbank website that showed we borrowed additional $10 billion + since Tinubu got to power.

If you can show me, I will deactivate my account.

Remember I said Worldbank and not all these useless blog.

I am the first person in the whole Nigeria to break this “IMF debt $0 for Nigeria news” and I did on Nairaland here. After I premiered it here, the FG spokesperson made a thread on Twitter and the useless mainstream media that can’t do simple research started writing about it.”
PoliticsRe: EFCC Quizzes AY Makun Over Naira Abuse by Lanruze: 3:07pm On May 07, 2025
You are the person clowning here based on the epistle below.

Finally it's obvious you have taken a position and I will leave you to it.

The case is still in court.

Sermwell:
When you're done clowning around, just go and sleep! The EFCC chairman did not achieve the arrest of Yahaya Bello! He attempted severally to arrest him but failed. Bello went to EFCC on his own volition! Can a common man try that with EFCC? You claimed it wasn't EFCC chairman who was hailing Yahaya Bello but his men. Were those men queried or sanctioned for hailing someone who refused invitation and even resisted arrest by the EFCC? grin cheesy

I repeat, when you're done clowning, go and sleep cheesy wink
PoliticsRe: EFCC Quizzes AY Makun Over Naira Abuse by Lanruze: 3:04pm On May 07, 2025
Not the gestapo style but the timing of the arrest.

VDM was already carried away and started playing "god" with his SM followership and platform.

Once he comes for you even without thorough investigation you are finished and once you are in his good books you are his followers toast.

Visits the social media pages of Nedu Wazobia, Reuben Abati (PhD), Abike Dabiri after he lashed out on them. Some are yet to fully recover.

Let him too see how sweet it feels to call people out.

justwise:
You like the way they arrested him with guns and face cover? Beat, collect his phone and password? Locked him up for days without charge or clear official statements?

Do you also like the way they handled Yaya Bello case?
PoliticsRe: EFCC Quizzes AY Makun Over Naira Abuse by Lanruze: 2:56pm On May 07, 2025
You wouldn't understand yet sir.

But it's all good

Sermwell:
You're just clowning around! EFCC called the arrest of VDM by them as fake news, but later went on to state why they arrested him. The same people who initially denied arresting him. Is that the kind of organization you're claiming to trust? grin No worry sha! Keep lying to yourself!
PoliticsRe: EFCC Quizzes AY Makun Over Naira Abuse by Lanruze: 2:54pm On May 07, 2025
The Yahaya Bello was a case personally handled by the EFCC chairman who has publicly asserted that he would rather ''Resign" than push the case under the carpet.

He actually meant it.

The hailing of the Gov. was done by his operatives and not him, I guess.

When EFCC provided superior evidence in court the judge in his own wisdom saw it as a offence which was bailable whilst it continues in court.

EFCC has its own limits too and cannot be the Prosecutor & Jury in the Yahaya Bello case.

D00msDay:
Wat happened to him wen he finally visited efcc office? All the officers were virtually hailing him and calling him "the white lion" afterwards he was allowed to leave. Even wen he finally gave himself up, efcc never treated him like someone who evaded arrest for months. He was being escorted to court like a VIP.

Chief, I knw wat I'm saying. Stop holding brief for efcc.
PoliticsRe: EFCC Quizzes AY Makun Over Naira Abuse by Lanruze: 2:34pm On May 07, 2025
Which VIP treatment ?

Was is not a judge that granted him bail after EFCC had tabled their case against him ?

D00msDay:
Una too dey hype rubbish for this country. Wat eventually happened to Yeye Bello after repeated ignoring their invite and evading arrest?? Wat happened at the end? Was he not given a VIP treatment by same EFCC?
PoliticsRe: EFCC Quizzes AY Makun Over Naira Abuse by Lanruze: 2:28pm On May 07, 2025
Dear EFCC,

I like the way you have handled this VDM case.

I am not a lawyer, but belong to the 1% analytical, objective and logical few that sees the need for the arrest of this character irrespective of the agitation and social media uproar.

In the fullness of time majority of those criticizing the EFCC would fully grasp the essence and signal of VDMs ordeal.

Irrespective of it's politicisation we see a generational correction that has been enforced and signals that elders need to be respected and restraint needs to be applied in public utterances.

Weldone EFCC and God bless you.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Fully Repay IMF Loan By 2029 by Lanruze:
Dear 080,

You cannot cry more than the bereaved.

Except you are the Coordinating Minister of the economy or the Special Adviser to the President on Economic Affairs you cannot interpret it's debt management model from your own lens.

The are different categories of international lenders mainly Multilateral Development Banks and Bi-lateral Development Banks.

The Multilateral Development Banks has the IMF & World Bank as major players. The are specialised developmental loans for eligible developing country members which Nigeria can access.

The World Bank currently offers one of the lowest single digit interest rates between 1-3 % for periods ranging from 3 years to 5 years.

In the wisdom of the economic team, they have decided to liquidate all high interest paying loans for lower interest paying loans in agencies like the World Bank as such the reduction in the IMF loans and surge in the World Bank loans.

Ironically our debt Profile surged from N91trillion to N141trillion in 24 months making it an unprecedented high in Nigeria's history.

zero8zero:
No 1. According to findings by The PUNCH. Written on the 2nd of May. Meanwhile as at 6th of May, Nigeria has cleared her debts. Punch was too hasty to write this article.

No 2. The RFI loan, disbursed in full on April 30, 2020. It was a loan disbursed 5 yrs ago.

No 3. Under the terms of the facility, Nigeria’s remaining repayment obligations are staggered over a five-year period beginning in 2025. Meaning the payment is due this year, which has been cleared.

No 4. Also, Nigeria’s debt to the IMF dropped significantly from $2.47bn in 2023 to $800.23m in 2024 — a reduction of 67.6 per cent, or $1.67bn, likely tied to repayments on the emergency and budget-support facility disbursed in 2020. Under a year, Nigeria's debt went from $2.47b down to $ 800.23m in 2024.

No 5. And concluding in 2029. From 2026 to 2029, the obligations primarily relate to charges and interest payments estimated at around SDR 26.7 million each year, translating to about $36.14m annually at the current exchange rate. An SDR is not money, it's a reserve asset. So, we are not owing money.

Go school, you said no.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Clear All Debt Owed To IMF — Otega Ogra Hails Major Milestone! by Lanruze: 6:56am On May 07, 2025
PBAT will be rolling-out his Mid term report in two weeks specifically May 29, 2025.

It's obvious that major achievements have been made especially on the significant improvement on our foriegn reserves and international economic & credit ratings in the last two (2) years.

However, there is an "unwritten" memo on the "overhyping" of milestones in this PBT Administration especially by the media handlers, to show that they should earn their pay.

Nigeria's total debt profile under PBAT has surged from approximately N 90 trillion to an all time record breaking of N141 trillion in two years.

The Poverty indexes for the rural poor is embarrassing and household grapple with the worst-cost- of- living crisis in a generation.

Based on the shortfall of the crude oil prices to $60 per barrel and the FG's projected benchmark of $75, there is every logical reasoning to believe except a miracle, the deficit on the 2025 Budget will be humongous.

PBATs media handlers overzealousness to throw numbers and overhype milestone shows the desperation to impress the public.

Don't think this is a faceless platform and spew what you are uncertain of.

The owner of the account in GTB was his mother and had only suspected fraudulent debit issues.

He announced previously on his platform that he will storm the branch the next day for resolution in his brandished ratel way.

GTB has only two (2) Branches in Abuja and he gullibly went to the CBD of Abuja - Wuse Branch and put it on live broadcast were he was apprehended by the law enforcement agents.

How is that GTBank' s fault please ?

Xmen149:
Lolz. Security agencies do that nonsense. They will get your bank to do one nonsense on your account and your bank will invite you to come and clear it ...once you are around they will be tipped off and will be waiting for you at the gate.
CelebritiesRe: EFCC Grants VeryDarkMan Bail, Reveals Why He Was Arrested by Lanruze: 12:24pm On May 06, 2025
Kemi Oluloyo apart for a proper psychiatric evaluation being conducted on her needs to be extradited and prosecuted by GTBank.

She went the extra mile on the defamation of GTB.

Segun Agbaje should take note and take action.

GTBank is still the pride of professional banking in Nigeria.

VDM or whatever he calls himself would still be picked up by the DSS if he does PIM.

He is too loud and disrespectful. Let him get proper education or a crash course on legal implications of leaking unverified & classified information in Public.

We must not hear his noise again, let him go on with philanthropy.

Chukwudi4naija:
After implicating GTB. Several invitations was sent and he declined, but quick to reveal that he was going to GTB the following day. Not knowing that GTB has only two branches in entire Abuja and can easily be tracked. This crowd mentality of Nigerians need to stop.

Dear Deji Adeyanju Esq.,

Kindly note that your client had the temerity and guts to affront Femi Falana (SAN) " unprovoked".

Also note that VDMs " Ratel" misguided mobs threatened Femi Falana's daughter with " death" also on her verified SM pages.

Folarin Falana aka Falz was also accused by VDM of being bi-s*xual.

VDM has burnt so many bridges that after this ordeal he will move from his mob-leader mentality to being a calm and reasonable man.

Femi Falana has been radical since the early '80s and also old enough to be VDMs father.

Oga Deji, VDM himself would have seen that social media support is different from real life when the chips are down.

He will learn the hard way !
PoliticsRe: Coalition Waits On Atiku, Obi On Harmonisation Of Structures by Lanruze:
If it's true that Atiku & Peter Obi have agreed on a coalition then you have a new president automatically by 2027.

No amount of rigging and intimidation will deter volunteers and party agents that will gallantly work for free.

Except APC does magic between now and 2027, I don't see Tinubu winning any elections with this coalition in 2027.

The rate of poverty is excruciating.

The Coalition will be the biggest PBAT karma for Occupy Nigeria that forced out Goodluck Jonathan. This coalition will assume same dimension as the goal will be to democratically take power back to the people.

Karma is a bi*ch.
