What is wrong with PDP is simple :The Greed of Atiku Abubakar to become President by all means even when the odds are evidently against his ambition. He has assumed an irritating dimension as he continues to remain mute whilst younger party members in the PDP have formed a consensus whilst moving out of the party in droves for him Dear Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Don't allow anybody born of woman to deceive you on 2027, you can not win if you contest, rather throw your support behind a gallant southern candidate and have history write you name in Gold. Simple ! |
Sorry to say, but this particular Alaafin of Oyo started on a very bad footing. He disrespected the Ooni of Ife twice and unfortunately did it in full glare of the preying public. The new Alaafin is surely a slave of history portraying him as very petty and crude. The Ooni stands way way shoulder high than this petty new king. He started with enemies already. |

That's not money Banker on second level (ABO) after studying a 4 year B.Sc in any course including history earns N800k. Consultants are equivalents of Asso. Prof. Is that money. A specialist in the US earns an average of $150k per annum and you say they should wait in Nigeria ? In Naira equivalent it's N200m per annum inclusive of tax. Boogeymannn: |
That guy deserves double promotion for the fastest finger in shoplifting history. The guy is a kleptomania, he stole biscuits and sweets sha. |
One very big sized Journalist opened his mouth on National TV and said that there is no phrase like the People vs Government, I am sure the f*t toad will give an account of 2027 in his after life. I repeat 2027 is the suffering people vs the ruling party ! A consensus will be formed through hardship and misgovernace and we'll see who will stop Nigerians. Thank God the numbers are on excess of 50million. |
BudgIT brought it to your notice as at the beginning of last budget year 2024 when forestry budget in Ibadan allocation was given to Akwa Ibom. Why wouldnt they defect when they have serious money from FAAC ? Awon Omila. |

I am not condemning your write-up at all. It makes very valid sense especially the part where you anlaysed the 1/3 of the currency being the real value and the remaining 2/3 being the subsidies value. Very Apt with a blow by blow summary of valid and genius points. However, don't blindly defend information you dont have a full grasp of especially a country like Nigeria. 1, The current value of the Naira is intentionally being maintained to create a money illusion not the floating or market forces you think you are at play. It's not just a national embarssmebt and shame that CFA zone countries like Niger, Benin Republic, Cameroun etc have thier currencies x 3 of our Naira. In recorded history, Nigerian Naira has never been lower than the CFA or even smaller countries like Ghana, never ! The Devaluation has created so much illusionary money for Government that the PBAT Government benchmarked it budget to a shameful $1-N1500. Petroleum Tax, Royalties and Import duties are at an all time high because of this illusion. 2, Countries all over the World have a very strategic approach to its Currency Management and FX reserves. No sane nation leaves its currency to Market forces to determine its daily value! No where in the world. An example is the United State stating its moving it's FX strategic reserves from currency to another asset class - Crypto Currency with a 30-40% investment projection. The USA is also planning to strategically devalue its currency ($) to make American exports more attractive to it's major trading partners with a projected improvement in income revenues. DavidMm: |
Nairaland has been seriously infiltrated by paid APC minions and Publicist. I have been a member for close to 17 years and I can assure you that it hasn't been this infiltrated by any other regime since '99 post democratic government. Imagine a sane, normal and authentic person supporting $1- N1,625 FX rate when it has been revealed that the naira devaluation is a money illusion to enable the PBAT Government declare humongous revenues from proceeds of exports and FX denominated transactions without real productivity within the country. The TUC President- Festus Osifo on recorded TV programmes has consistently said that he has challenged Government officials on the FX devaluation and they appealed to him on the revenues being accrued from the huge differentials in the Dollar -Naira exchange rate to the current huge revenues experienced. Mr. Yemi Cardoso has supervised the Naira being one of the weakest countries in the world with smaller neighboring countries CFA zone triple (x3) our currency. Second in devaluation only to Lebanon and Argentina in the world as at 2024. With our FX reserves at $23B, the Naira can be defended to N500-$1 for a average of six months at the current import trajectory. However, once dollars drops to such amounts like 500, the FAAC reduces because taxes like the Petroleum Tax significantly will be affected since its denominated in dollars and import duties from customs will take a reduce significantly. Prof. Chukwuma Soludo called it a money illusion. CBN under APC moved from" ways and means" disaster to "money illusion" propaganda. |
If President Bola Ahmed Tinubu looses the 2027 elections which is very possible, the chunk of blame should be on two majo characters that he failed early to tame. These characters have given Peter Obi publicity and endeared sympathy votes to him emboldening the "Obidients movement" 1, Bayo Onanuga 2, Reno Omokri Let the Presidency take good notes now. |
You have consistently jumped from topic to topic whilst you also have the temerity, guts and audacity to throw tantrums at people unprovoked and render unsolicited advice. Hello Chuks, Let me clear your childish excitement on your paymasters new found hedonistic high. I travel between towns and I can tell you that once you step-out of Lagos State the excruciating poverty stares you in the face directly, Nigerians are poorer because of PBATs policies simple. Even if all the Paramilitary and Military establishments in Nigeria are Churned-out, This 2027 General Elections will be biggest shocker after the 2015 General elections. If PBAT is returned call me a ba*t*ard ! Nigerians were patient with Buhari, but the last 2 years gives them no alternative than presenting a red card to APC. Peter Obi has played the best opposition and resonates with the Youths in the middle belt ( Benue , Plateau & Taraba) and will earnestly need the core North's support for this one. If you like continue embarrassing your family on a faceless forum. Chucks13: |
An average Nigerians based on the years of long suffering, Government insincerity and trust deficit with Government seems not to be able to separate an upright and dutiful Public Servant and a Villain. Prof. Oloyede out of the conviction of his system was open to feedback invited interest groups, parents, associations, civil society and the Athemeta centre an independent data centre run by Chidoka Osita. The Prof. goes no where ! Instead he will be elevated with higher responsibilities. Let that sink-in. We know where the resignation vibe is coming from. |
Irrespective of jokes and jabs, I think Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is being just selfish and unrealistic with his ambition. Everybody I mean everybody advising him to content are purely deceiving him- In simple terms ; Alhaji Atiku Abubakar cannot win the 2027 election as it stands today. No where in Southern Nigeria can he boast of 20,000 as at today, so why attempt a project that is evidently dead-on- arrival ? Throw your full weight behind Peter Obi and you get a Northern Candidate in your bag in 2031. |
Prof is just an emotional Man. With the efforts he put at the JAMB, if replicated in an organisation like EFCC and ICPC then half of Nigeria's problem would have been solved. Weldone Prof., we see your sincere efforts and we appreciate. Technical glitch is no human's fault and based on feedback also you did your humanly possible best to ensure the exams are fool proof. |
Anybody that doubts the existence of an almighty supreme being call him God,call him Allah, call him Chi, call him Olodumare, call him Jehovah, call him Yehushua should look at this boy Victor Oshimen's trajectory. Leave football first ! Indeed the rejected stone has risen gallantly to become the cornerstone. This is not just awesome but a miracle. God bless you Victor Oshimen, Even your parents in heaven will celebrate you. Proud to be Nigerian today !!!! |
Prof. Ishaq Oloyede is one of the most upright Public Servants whose Intergrity has not been in doubt since his days at UniIlorin. Why the tears when it's a technical glitch ? Everybody knows that errors can be human what's the crying all about. |

Sophia is naturally not a happy woman. I mean what level of punishment will be more than not being able to celebrate your first daughter's birthday because he didn't end up marrying you. HBD Omo Adeleke. |
He might be dead but definitely his "manhood" lives after him. Good stuff. |
If it's not your forte or has never happened to you, it's better to remain quiet and mute. Spirituality can not be broken down for your understanding on Nairaland ....Okay. This particular death is spiritually induced from the eye witness comments I read earlier. Keep your peace if you don't have a grasp of deep spiritual things. blesdman: |
I was like you some couple of years ago until I lost close people (more than 5) in succession within 8 years, theirs had a similar pattern with the young Prof. They were all early achievers ! Stay vigilant and be wise Oluwaseyi. oluwaseyi0: |
If other passangers survived in that car accident, I totally believe this was a very well planned spiritual attack on him. Without knowing him, with his written achievements on paper all at the age of 39 years is prey for jealous family members, colleagues, students and wider public. Rural and sub-urban location especially in Africa has similar trends in cases like this. Fact still remains that with an esoteric eye his death was purely unnatural from recorded events that happened. Its painful considering him even being a responsible family man. RIP Young Prof. |
Or sub-heads. That makes it an even more interested read ! Good stuff. EmmyMaestro: |
I can bet N10B that this woman has no evidence. I just pray she doesn't go to jail for defamation. |
It's like there is no other gist around the Presidency ? Just recycling the same information for the gullible followers and for the optics on the 2 year Mid-term assessment of a disaster induced Government. Let PBAT travel by road from Lagos State to Ibadan. Once you step out of Lagos you can see the reality of the 75% rural poor that World Bank listed. They talk as if it's possible to owe the IMF before when deductions are done from source. |
Mahmood Yakubu in more civilised environment(s) would not be allowed to talk in public function. He would have been behind bars. This man singularly brought untold hardship to Nigeria with his move against Nigerians. |
Nairaland Bots is on the look-out for me on this tounge-tied man. Dear PBAT, Kindly note that if you loose 2027 Election which is highly probable, Reno Omokri & Bayo Onanuga sold you out. If I type what is in my mind the Bot will suspend my acct. Let that sink in. |
