My Experience. I started my interview say around 9:50pm or so. I entered, greeted and sat. I was asked to introduce myself, I did. Mr Tonye even told me to clap for myself. I was already feeling like a Chief. It was time to pick a number from the basket. Of all the numbers my hand could pick, it was freaking number 9 . The topic was "Love is not a feeling but a business". I could argue for or against.I was blank, I kid not. I asked for some seconds to gather my thoughts. Is it not when you have thoughts that you can gather them ? My head, brain and all its components decided to betray me at the last minute. I attempted arguing for. I mumbled one two-line poem, and fuel finished. The Board tried all they could to juggle my head. They told me to replace the love with like. They said I should replace like with the person I like. They said I should scream out (one of them helped me scream but I couldn't scream 'cause I really can't consciously). One of them used Valentine to see if it could work. They even sang for me Lagbaja's Wherever You Go. Ladies and Gentlemen, my brain was just being silly. I now decided to argue against. I said some stuff I can't even remember. Mr Tonye had to thank me for my time . I felt I didn't do well and had to apologise (whether that was a wrong move or not, I know not). All in all, I really liked the Board. They made me feel super comfortable. They had nice, welcoming expressions on their faces; the kind that is interested in what you have to say. They were some young people there; people who are in their thirties, some forties, two or three in their fifties. Modified: Till now, I still can't conjure up what I would have said. I am not going to blame my head again. If you have any idea of what I could have said, kindly tell. |
Noel001:I see you, shaky shaky. You're now talking 'cause your eyes saw the back of your head, lol. Your question was even simple. You picked number 2, right? |
agroronnie:Thank you. I'm chilling in the Zenith bank around there pending when it's time for my interview. |
Good morning, everyone. Please, how do I get to Sahara HQ from CMS? |
agroronnie:It's like you refresh your email every minute. The mail was sent around the time you posted. |
Good afternoon. Please, how do I get to Sahara HQ from CMS? |
sirexpert:Yeah. Stream II Batch A 2016. |
Yay!! Final stage! April 21. I am on my way to my state of deployment |
aiphee16:Congratulations ! For posterity sake, kindly tell your experience and what you think your team and you did better. |
Thavybe:Bruv, what agroronnie wrote is the only thing making sense right now. That GAP and GAAP did their interviews on the same day doesn't necessarily mean they have to get mails the same day. |
GMTP Candidates, if you got a success mail, kindly signify. You may like to add your experience. |
Thavybe:Neither have I. |
agroronnie: You know when a public holiday falls on a weekend, the next working day (usually Monday) becomes public holiday. That's how you people started calling it Easter Monday.See the way I'm talking with authority. That's my opinion though. I don't know if that's the reason for today being called Eatster Monday. Agroronnie, do you suggest we write to the Pope to ask him? |
buygala:Fair logical deduction. |
buygala:I have a moral obligation to correct wrong opinions; so, don't take this personally. The Whistle-blowing thing is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Finance, not the EFCC. The EFCC doesn't even know the whistle-blower. I wanted to send the file (containing information on whistle-blowing) but it is larger than 250kb. So, I made screenshots instead. Find attached. (Page 1 is the Cover Page. There's no place to put it.) Cc: All Nairalanders.

agroronnie:Mr Cole and his partners would interview us. At my second stage, my interviewers mentioned it. |
Asiwaju12345:The DG is my uncle . |
datjobhunter:Thank you. |
datjobhunter:What if someone didn't work at all in her PPA, like there was no work portfolio, just pure joblessness? |
Asiwaju12345:If you want to open an accounting (audit) firm and you want to get a licence to do that, no matter what level of education you are, you have to do 36 months (or thereabout) apprenticeship in an accounting firm. In fact, if you like be a director in the organisation you work with but if you find you have an interest in being an auditor, you must start from the bottom in an audit firm. My point is this: It is very much possible for a CFA to apply for graduate trainee programme in PwC because of the reason I gave above. |
My experience (GAAP): Summarised version. After the initial getting to know ourselves and banter, they asked the reason I felt they asked me to bring the paper. Then, they asked I should mention two things (from the paper) that was interesting to me. The first was an economic issue. The second was a sociocultural issue. The chief interviewer asked for my opinion on the first issue, and asked follow-up questions that if you're not versed in Nigeria's economy, you're likely to stutter. For the second issue, I was told to give a thirty-second presentation; no followup question was asked. The interview was more formal than the first. Their expressions were the same from the moment they began asking questions. I wasn't nervous though, except for the first minute. It was a six-man panel (well, a woman was there). |
odutobi23: Who minds the details tele? |
mayoor15, please what time did you arrive and what time did you finish the whole process? |
ruky1:A-ha! You smart. |
Edakun eskiz me. On one of the forms, it is required that one of a candidate's referees be the HOD of his/her department in school. If a candidate is foreign-trained, does PwC expect the person to traverse the distance? |
Like play, like play, this thread would be up to 70 pages. |
Thedream1994:Me. |
Kookny:From antecedents, it is usually 10 applicants per day. If interview starts on April 10 and ends on May 12, how many working days would that be? |
r4blessing:We are actually 220 applicants, ceteris paribus. 22 days multiplied by 10 individuals equals 220 applicants. |
First name P, Last name O. Interview date, May 2. What I think made me scale through the OPQ: I think they're looking for balance more than consistency. However, the things you should be consistent with are "I'm organised", "I am analytical", "I have eye for details", "I like statistical analysis". For the other social questions, don't be so uptight. Have a healthy mix. Two sentences may mean the same thing but one is usually deeper than the other. May 2...here I come. |
You guys remind me of the movie Exam. |
mayoor15: 1849 is even close. |
