samju100:It is not compulsory to exhaust the three minutes. So far you exceed ten seconds, you can skip to the next question. |
LetMyPeopleGo:LMAO! If I were at Landmark Towers, I wouldn't even sniff this thread...except you're the one screaming sha. |
First things first, I want you people to understand and appreciate the fact that the recruitment of Shell is highly competitive. You're up against people who might actually be smarter than you, and have better qualifications and more experience than you. Since you understand that, let's move on to other matters. Second: Once you see that there are a lot of questions to answer in a really constrained period of time, it is very much likely that the questions can never be difficult. They would most pro'lly be questions that students in secondary school know but because you're a graduate, they expect you to be faster than them in getting the answers. Don't whine to me; whine to the recruiters who believe so. Thirdly, we all can't have the same set of questions. How did I come to this conclusion? You remember in the mail or so, they stated that if your internet connection goes off while taking the test, that you should reconnect and you'd be issued with fresh set of questions? Yeah, right. You also read that. That's a clue that we won't have the same questions. Plus, someone else mentioned that. That's double proof. Fourth: It's not everytime that someone appears to be magnanimous that (s)he is really is. People came here claiming they had the questions to give out, and you honestly believed it would be for free. I'm sorry if I sound a little obnoxious but that's very naïve of you. Almost everything in Nigeria is business, my dears. So, please don't blame them. (I'm not affiliated to any one of them; don't think I'm trying to side them). In conclusion, we all should be oiling our brains well. You can't enter Shell except you have connections or you're really smart. Aptitude tests are the cheapest part of interviews 'cause they are objective. Other processes are highly subjective. |
I am yet to get a mail, and I'm just here looking at myself. |
Hello all. Please, could someone help me with the link for Associates (Chartered Accountants)? I can't seem to find it. Thank you. cc: nwagbaradav |
Benwems:MTN? Paid me? That's the joke of the century. |
YoungBlackRico:Lol. No. |
agitator:I'm sorry, you should have read "my poor Nigeria" in context. It means both that we don't really have Made in Nigeria goods and the fact that we hardly patronise such goods. |
IMF seems to know our country more than we do. They've bee on this interest thingy since last year but it doesn't look like our government is understanding what IMF has been saying. |
Where all networks are present in a location, Etisalat is the fastest but it is the most expensive. You can't blame them; speed comes at a premium. The comma is that Etisalat doesn't work everywhere. Glo is just a very useless network. The tariff plans are cheap but they also come at a cost, slow-breaking speed. I don't know about the speed of Airtel. I can't believe a time would come when I would use any part of my being to market MTN. They are truly "everywhere you go". The speed could rival Etisalat sometimes. The plans are not as cheap as Glo or Airtel but it is well worth it. Where other networks are frustrating you, MTN could be a sweetheart in terms of coverage. So, to answer your question, I'd go with MTN. |
This suitcase was made for people who live in countries with good and smooth roads. Unfortunately, Nigeria, as a whole, doesn't fall in that category of countries. Plus, the so-called sharp people would steal the suitcase without you even knowing when the act was perpetrated. |
I look forward to the century that Nigeria would restrict social media sites and create her own. By the way, do you know why China would continue growing? Because they usually consume Made in China goods and services, among other things...but my poor Nigeria . |
Johnholt2217:Your mind has not even started the tricks, you're complaining . This is just the preliminary stage where your mind gathers the tools for the tricks . Enjoy. PS: You know we would still wait the whole of June as well, right? |

I sent the link of this thread to one of my friends, a poem writer, performer and lover. She was now thanking me as if I gave her the winning numbers for lottery. PS: I didn't read it. I'm yet to appreciate the deepness of poems. |
LetMyPeopleGo:The call was to remind you of your interview with them. By the way, who else noticed that PwC calls its human capital "people" and not "employees"? |
...she just had to post the selfie here. |
agroronnie, when you see that Ramsey Nouah, ask him "Didn't I tell you that was disputable?". I heard he is the Recruitment Supervisor. |
I just saw my email. I didn't get into Sahara. I'm supposed to be sad but for some reason, the sadness isn't coming. All other GAAP candidates, which other person got in? |
agroronnie:Wow . That's very nice. Congratulations! |
agroronnie, how far? You seem to know when mails would be rolling out . |
I'm yet to see the female that hasn't snapped inside a fine toilet at any point in her life. |
agroronnie:Are you sure we interviewed with the same people ? The goal of the people that interviewed me was to make me feel as comfortable as possible. They were even massaging my brain (figuratively). |
agroronnie:Errm, I'm curious about something. Who told you this? |
We all seem to have had interesting experiences. |
Noel001: Tell us your own experience nah. |
agroronnie:Me sef, I'm anticipating gist from GMTP people. |
sawyer89:Thank you. PS: All ye GAAP candidates, I know y'all are on Nairaland, either as guests or members. Come and share your experience... agroronnie, I know who thou art. |
Noel001: When you people asked who LaRochelle is, did you guys really think I would raise my hand ? |
