CrimeRe: The Uniabuja Attempted Rape Case (the Accused, Side Of The Story) by LaRochelle(f): 10:19pm On Sep 27, 2016
**claps hands in wonders-shall-never-end fashion**

There are always three sides to a story:
1. The victim's side;
2. The accused's side; and
3. The unadulterated truth.

We are waiting for the third side before we pass our judgment. Till then...
CelebritiesRe: Daddy Freeze Question "Tithing" & Says People Should Donate To The Needy Instead by LaRochelle(f): 9:09am On Sep 26, 2016
Tithing is a scriptural command (Malachi 3:10). It is supposed to be used to propagate the gospel and make the work of the Lord succeed. How else do churches pay full-time workers, print free (or next-to-free) magazines/booklets/pamphlets/leaflets and a host of other stuff?

It is quite a pity that some so-called Pastors have caused people to speak ill of a biblical something.

Oh Lord, Father in heaven, we, Nairalanders, pray that the spirit of divorce shall never pass through their marriage. Anybody that wishes to put asunder in this marriage shall be cut off. Thank you Lord for answered prayers.

Amen.

TravelRe: Immigration Delaying My Passport In Lagos. Help Please, Is Nigeria This Bad? by LaRochelle(f): 8:54pm On Aug 15, 2016
To answer your question, Nigeria is that bad and is even worse than you think. I applied for National ID card in October 2014. Up till now, it is not yet ready. They keep saying I should check one useless website, which, in my opinion, has been programmed to say it's not yet ready.

One of my colleagues, who claims to be a realist, says that using money to get what you want is the fastest way. Meet one top officer, explain your plight and watch your passport appear in one week!

Biko, hold it there. So, in your mind, you think baptising the car with those liquids make sense? Stick to the topic instead of looking for who to attack. After all, the so-called "9ja girls" include your sisters, female friends and girlfriend/wife!
Car TalkRe: Guys Pouring Wine On New Car To "Wash" It (Photos) by LaRochelle(f): 2:55pm On Aug 15, 2016
The car doesn't even look like a brand new one to me. This happens when "iberibe-ism" has consumed someone's soul, spirit and bodyundecided.

Music/RadioCover Of Kiss Daniel's "Mama" by LaRochelle(op): 11:07am On Jul 30, 2016
Hello NLers.

My colleague did this uber nice cover of "Mama" by Kiss Daniel. His name is Wolei.

He is a budding young artiste of immense talent, with a specialization in soul, R&B and Nigerian folk music.

This record is his interpretation of Kiss Daniel’s hit record, "Mama". With soft guitar riffs and an accompanying keyboard, Wolei shows off his vocals, making for a very memorable piece.

Download and enjoy!

PS: He's very much available if you need his serviceswink.

PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala And Ikemba Celebrate 37th Wedding Anniversary by LaRochelle(f): 10:36pm On Jul 28, 2016
This woman isn't exactly my role model but there are some things I admire about her (and her husband).

First, she is an intelligent woman (it doesn't matter if you agree or not).

Second, she and her husband have been together for thirty-seven good years.

Third, she (and her husband) gave their children the best of education. I read one time all of them attended Harvard. I know you know that Harvard's acceptance rate is quite low...which brings me to the fourth point.

Fourth, she passed on her good brains to her children (I mean, judging by the Harvard thing-y).

Happy 37th anniversary, ma'am. I wish you and your husband more happy years together.

BusinessRe: Folorunsho Alakija 40th Wedding Anniversary (Photos) by LaRochelle(f): 10:58am On Jul 28, 2016
I might not know her kind of lifestyle or her underground way of doing things. I might not know the extent of make-up that is/was padded on her face. I might not know a lot of things about her...but I know two things. She is a rich woman; and she has sustained her marriage (by whatever means) for forty long years. These two things are enough to give her kudos.

Congratulations, ma'am on your double celebration!
PoliticsRe: Police, SSS, Broker Peace Between Wike, Amaechi by LaRochelle(f): 7:59am On Jul 27, 2016
Politicians seem to be more dramatic than media celebrities. The people who are the silliest are the ones who join the thuggery profession, all in a bid to show "support" for their favourite parties.

BTW, I thought Nigeria is broke. Why do they now want to waste the small money we have on a rerun? What they want, is it greater than Nigeria's good? I hope it is postponed indefinitely...I mean, to 2019.

Jokes EtcRe: ACQUIRED POLIO SYNDROME: Newly Discovered Disease Among Nigerian Ladies. by LaRochelle(f): 12:03pm On Jul 18, 2016
The disease is really serious oo, and it mostly occurs in female aged 11 - 25. The other day, my sister (14) asked me to snap her with my phone. I refused initially because I was seriously busy with something. When I agreed, that's how she went to wear bum shorts.

When it was time to pose, she first did her perfectly normal legs to be like K-leg (no offence to those with it). She then did another pose where your derriere goes back, and your feet is made to look like an isosceles triangle, whose sides are not joined properly. Then, came the mouth pose as if she wanted to spit out saliva.

I couldn't even preach the "gospel" to her; it's what she sees that she copies embarassed.

When I first saw this thread on front page and found out only one post pushed it there, I was like shocked. That was when I realised I'm actually the first to comment. I now get the feeling all those who get to be the FTC feel. I feel euphoric. After almost three years...

Shout-out to all corps members camping in Keffi, Nasarawa state. Today is our camp fire night.

As regards the topic OP, sincerely I don't know what to tell you. I have no knowledge of or experience with that.
