nwaanambra1: Walai dis EFCC handler deserves an Oscar!
though him ma need to attend the 9am class with the student.
it should be:
there is no 's' in million in this context.
NOT.
There is a "no 's' in million in this context"
- wrong use of first person singular and also wrong application of quotation marks He is actually very correct. First, the "no 's' in million in this context" serves as an adjective to qualify the class. So, if you replace the phrase in quotation marks with a subject, let's say Biology, it would read "There is a Biology class." That makes perfect sense. Second, "first person singular" is usually associated with pronouns. The EFCC replier did not use any first person singular. He only used a singular verb "is" and singular article "a". Third, the EFCC replier's use of quotation marks is appropriate. You are allowed to use single quotation marks inside a sentence/clause/phrase using double quotation marks. Next time, evaluate well before you throw punches . |

You can use the one CEB sent to you but use it on the first link (the SHL direct link) NOT the actual test link. However, if you are doubtful, register on SHL website using another email address. |

Sambest2: Using previous recruitment as a yardstick, PwC will shortlist on the 17th, SHL test invite will drop on 20th, we will be expected to complete the test on/before March 3rd.
For those still asking, the test is SHL based verbal and numerical. Hi. Would there be SHL Abstract Reasoning? How many questions is there likely to be and time frame? Is there likely to be general knowledge? Cc: TheRealAdonye |

iamrealdeji: why weren't Fela,Gani Fawehinmi, etc threatened? why wasn't Wole Soyinka threatened? these people did worse than protest during military, during Abacha regime for that matter meanwhile these people have everything more than 2face and yet, they never claimed to be threatened. a coward is a coward, period . shouldn't you ask yourself why cowards always have one excuse or the other? Tuface is not an activist. Period. The people you mentioned felt Nigeria was worth the hassle, was worth their blood. I doubt Tuface feels the same way about Nigeria. |

Maybe you misconstrued my post. What I meant by if that is how life is, is that how can someone be popular solely because she's perceived as someone's mistress? Like it's just unbelievable. |

sweerychick: Thank God you said Fela was an activists. Tuface wanted to be one that was the reason for his calling for a national protest, otherwise he would have just relaxed and release a song instead! Tuface wasn't the originator of the protest. He pro'lly felt he could use his influence to ginger people for the protest. |

sweerychick: my dear next time folks like him decide to engage in a national struggle let them consult widely and make sure the have the balls for such purposes. He shouldn't have initiated the protest without knowing the implications, great men like Fela boldly stood up against the military regime and of course there was a price to pay for it. You must have guts to stand up against something greater than you. Otherwise you keep quiet. Even the bible said it don't challenge those greater than you.. Tuface should have known better Everyone knows Fela was an activist, both lyrically and in reality. Has Tuface ever sang a song against Nigeria? The guy is just an artiste who has had enough of Nigeria's problems, the same way we all are. If he's a coward, then most of us are. We just type #IStandWithNigeria on Twitter and wherever, and never do physical peaceful protests. |

When I first saw "10 Facts About Controversial Actress, Rosaline Meurer", I started calculating (based on her surname) which country is from, 'cause I've never heard the name, not to talk of knowing she's an actress.
I opened the thread only to find out it is Churchill's infamous PA that is allegedly having romantic affairs with him. So, just like that, she don become celebrity? Is that how life is? Puhleaze, don't argue she was a celebrity before now. The argument doesn't hold water.
Ngwanu, as always, NL would be turned to a gossip site to discuss her affairs. |

Nigerians and their bad mouths...
Did those people watch the video where he declared his intention to back out of the protest? Dude was messed up, mehn. Did you see his eyes? He was not looking into the camera 90% of the video duration. He was sad, and I know he wasn't acting. The people mocking him, did they come out for the protest? Was he the only celebrity that supported the cause? Do you have any idea of what he was threatened with?
Please oh, when next you want to shade or mock someone, put yourself in their shoes and see if you would love another doing same to you. |
