You will be seekng different takes like "I'm Yoruba but Yorubas are this and that" tweet all over Twitter.

Funny enough if Tinubu was not on the ballot and the APC presented a Northerner, I would've voted for Obi myself.

Yoruba Ronu was mouthed by unscrupulous elements in the build up to the elections to ask all Yorubas to vote for Tinubu who was on the ballot . Some of us Yorubas who didn’t consider Tinubu as our personal choice were openly called omo ale . The same line of thought was carried up till the Election Day and those whom they know weren’t going to vote APC were attacked openly .

I remember u condemned the attacks on prospective voters here.

Lapse of time did not dim anybody’s memory as to what was said and done by who and who during the elections. There’s no need denying what happened or trying to feign it didn’t happen .

Of course Yoruba Ronu was used by some people as a rallying cry for Yoruba yet Tinubu only won 60% of the total votes in the SW which means not everyone subscribed to that idea.

I'm all for everyone making their political choice freely without fear of abuse or intimidation. The violence that happened in Lagos stand condemned. Nobody should ever be scared to go out and vote for their preferred choice.

The only people I have issues with are those that join others to attack their tribe because of the actions of few.

Yoruba Ronu is used to called Yorubas for deep reflection and thinking during political times. Hurlbert Ogunde that first used it was during the political chaos of the old western region.

There's nothing to troll with. Yoruba's will continue to Ronu and take whatever decisions they want.

My own night vigil na constant k. My wife is still recuperating so na me dey assist grandma and all.

I havent really slept well for the last couple of days. A new born baby comes with lot of physical and mental stress.
