I do agree with patrick though, If it's for footballing reason Sancho do have a weak mentality because I shudder to think what could've happened to me if he get half of what Maguire get from sections of the fan base |

Depression is one mental state that you cannot pinpoint what triggers it and most times the cause is unexplainable.
It takes time and care to go through it and come out of it.
Hopefully Sancho comes out of it better. |

I just don’t like your language of blaming someone suffering Depression. It is not something you just sit up and fight through. I know several people who are incredibly successful in both business and family life, but suffer major depression. Please check your PM. |

If this had happened in Kaduna or Kano, shouts of genocide and the likes will have filled this thread.
Hypocrites. |

patrickmuf: Garnacho should just keep his head down and put in the hard work and he'll be a world beater. From hus looks, I suspect he puts in a lot into training and that's good for his future...
Mainoo looked a bit nervous and conservative in his approach but with more minutes, he'll get used to the pressure that comes with playing regularly for the first team abd will only get better.
I also noticed that Maguire now releases the ball faster compared to the sluggish Maguire that will dilly dally on the ball in the past couple of seasons. I don't know if it's because he is playing from the right now or if it's something EtH has spoken to him about or it's just brain reset after spending time on the bench... Playing from the right makes it easy a lil bit for Maguire tho. Playing from the left makes him a lot slower than he naturally is because he has to turn 160 degrees to make a simple pass. |

obainojazz: I understand Yoruba well and in my first post, you’ll see where I said that statement wasn’t that bad if you factor in where and when he said it.
The fact still remains a sick Tinubu sees the presidency as the cherry on his long political life and just wants to write his name in history.
He said Buhari lule until they joined forces… He said he gave Ribadu opportunity in his party and now it’s his turn.
Baba no come perform anything but to get his own share of cake instead of supporting Osibanjo and the rest That's why I keep saying the context of where and why he made the statement is important. Context gives meaning to statements. It is one thing to win the party ticket, it is another thing to win the general election. It is a fallacy to say Emi Lokan was Tinubu playing the tribal card when he was practically telling his party members that he has supported them and it's now his turn to be supported. Whatever else you think about Tinubu is your business bro. |

DissTroy: I understand Yoruba and I'm insisting on it. Osinbajo's campaign manager is a Yoruba, Richard Akinnola, and he condemned it. Several Yorubas did too.
You think you have exclusive rights to Yoruba interpretation? We could lengthy voicenotes this minutes in pure Yoruba and my sentences with it wouldn't falter. This very minute. Stop lying. You already admitted Tinubu said it's Yoruba's turn in your last response to me. Again you have begin to have hallucinations. I suggest you see a doc asap for medications. Osibanjo manager can cry for whatever he wants because the statement was directed at Osibanjo. Again, Tinubu made the statement in Ogun State, Osibanjo home state when he was talking to Ogun APC delegates. That is context 1 He practically told them how has he supported others, he mentioned how he has chose Osibanjo to be Buhari VP, talked about how he help made Dapo Aboidun as Governor and reminded them that ITS HIS TURN to be supported to get APC ticket. That's is context 2. He was strictly speaking to Ogun state APC delegates it's his turn to be supported instead of Osibanjo. There's a reason Tinubu didnt make the statement anywhere else till he got to Ogun State. Now shout Emi Lokan |

A001: Discussions about politics are usually boring to me.
People would waste time lying and twisting simple statements like this "If the President is to be given by whose turn it is, as an Igbo it's my turn but I am in the race as a Nigerian wishing to be hired based on my track record, competence and capacity."
Despite the highlighted part of the Obi's statement, I don't know how this is in any way equivalent to "emilokan".
The elections are slated for next month, but some people are making lifelong enemies for themselves over candidates that are mostly the same.
Make una continue fighting over politicians daily while the brainless ones keep posting their lies and hallucinations about Otem and his readers daily, planting silly things in your subconscious mind thinking you're joking.
Na una palaver sha May Otem bless you. |

obainojazz: Tinubu started his journey with it’s my turn unlike other candidates
That meeting probably shouldn’t have been recorded because even Tinubu knows that was a fail Again you are missing the context of where and why Tinubu said it's my turn and I really cant be explaining the same thing over and over. The clip is in Yoruba, get a someone that understand Yoruba to explain it to you. |

People have always just said Tinubu shouldn’t be president because he said it’s his turn. Tinubu said it his his turn to be supported to get APC ticket at the primaries. Has Tinubu asked you to vote for him because it's his turn? |

obainojazz: About to drag this thread few more pages because people don’t understand IF
There’s nothing bad with Tinubu’s own since he said since he’s helped people, it’s his turn…. Nigerians just don’t believe it’s his turn
Not with Osinbanjo and co in the same party The same context these people forget exist when it comes to Tinubu is what they want us to remember now. Tinubu to Ogun State APC delegates that he has been serving and supporting them and now it his own turn to be supported instead of Osibanjo. It is the same context that they are arguing against now and telling us its Tinubu playing the tribal card. |

Theflint1: One person hinged his right to office based on age and another based on competence, yet someone is trying to drive agenda that both statements are the same thing. You dont understand how party politics works so there's no point explaining anything to you. Tinubu has said it several times that hes the most competent and capable of being our President among all the contestants. You can go and watch his BBC interview again for confirmation. |

nihilistjnr: I am not playing any games about which is better or worse.
Those two statements are exactly the same thing
Tinubu: Yoruba lokan - It is Yoruba's turn Emilokan - Thus it is my turn
Obi: As an Igbo man, it is my turn.
The end. Tinubu even made his own Emi Lokan to his party members when he was trying to get APC ticket not when campaign has started. Since Tinubu won the ticket and campaign started, Tinubu hasn't told anyone to vote for him because he's Yoruba. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 8:03am On Jan 10, 2023 |
DissTroy: The joke is on you. I made this statement deliberately to forestall excuses like the one you just gave.
Tinubu said on video "Yoruba lo kan" which is it is Yoruba's turn and his entoruaged echoed yes, then he went on with, in Yorubaland, "Emi lokan". This isn't reported speak but what he said in an audiovisual. You cannot pick out words that interest you alone from a statement only while ignoring the rest of the word said that form the context. Its important to note that Tinubu made this statement in Ogun state during APC primaries consultations. Tinubu said he has always supported others and that it's his turn to be supported during the APC primaries. He clearly said its Yoruba turn to get the ticket and if we are talking about Yorubas it's his turn as the eldest among those running for APC ticket. You can claim to get whatever in Yoruba, your poor attempt at interpreting a statement made in Yoruba as given you out. |
