Family / Re: I Want To Cancel The Marriage Plans. Is It Worth It? by Larryhoover(m): 3:47pm On Dec 30, 2023 |
FanRong: The way women are wired is different from the way guys are and the truth is you can't always have it all as deduced in the 80/20 rule but there should be a minimum requirement. List out all your preferred minimum or Fundamental requirements in a woman, evaluate it to see if she meet your expectations to take an informed decision. My former Boss used to say "Don't advise anyone to get married but if as a guy you see a good woman, marriage is good". I think this should also guide you in your analysis. I wish you all the best Bro! 2 Likes |

It is indeed funny despite all the rumours about his health, he chose to ignore and stick with the Law 16 of 48 Laws of Power by Robert Green Law 16. "Create an air of scarcity around yourself to increase your perceived value. If you currently exist within an established group, intermittently withdraw so that others talk about you and admire you more. To do this effectively, you must learn when is the right time to withdraw" He definitely understands how to play politics. 318 Likes 34 Shares |

A decent profile and I hope he would lead the change in Benue through provision of democratic dividends. As a Rev. Father, he should be able to connect with people easily and provide the desired needs. There are blueprints he can tap from e.g Fashola of Lagos, Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Zulum of Borno. You don't have to do big projects before making significant impacts. With proper implementation of the right policies, he could be the pioneer of Benue liberation. Though, i haven't seen any of his picture smiling... Lol. But I wish him all the Best. 36 Likes 4 Shares |

Obagreatdatoye: The irony of this is that the SANs would cash out as usual but because of your bandwagon effect, your vacuumed head can't see a simple point I made because it didn't suit your narrative. Why should Obi reported to be 3rd on the result be declared when an Atiku that came 2nd isn't claiming same? Just try and drop the phone and think, think please. |

Mopolchi: And you can see how your big brain made you sound very dumb. An analogy of I was beaten and I wrote a petition to disqualify my opponent, it is common sense for the arbitrator to ask "on what ground". If indeed you have a big brain like you claim that shouldn't be hard to answer but I guess your upstairs is a vacuum instead. |

Web2020: Mr. Education personified. Noble Laureate, Island of Knowledge. If you cannot comprehend a simple question, let me ask simply by saying, why Tinubu should be disqualified should be highlighted in the petition but someone earlier mentioned it could be a tactics which I think that is cool. You should allow yourself to think sometimes and not always following the bandwagon. I only asked if the petition is solid but you resorted to ethnic banter. But needless to say, a mob would always act like one |

millionaireman: It was pre-election matter as it is the responsibility of the party and INEC to ensure a credible candidate represents the party. Secondly, i thought this was cleared prior to primaries and Chicago State University affirmed his studentship except proved otherwise. So present facts and not hearsays. The earlier you come up with facts the better as May 29 is just 69 days left. 1 Like |

Mopolchi: Try and make use of your big brain for once. In as much as I know you will like Obi to emerge, but you also need to look at the validity of this claims. You can't be objective in your analysis if you have picked a side. You need to be neutral to act as an arbitrator and this is the angle the court would judge from and not hearsays and conspiracies. So rather than screeching here on nairaland I would implore you think deep without emotions and ask yourself if this petition is a solid one. It is not everything you act on like mob. Sometimes self thought helps and that would help you in this situation. 2 Likes |

You can help yourself here https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/372652-why-supreme-court-sacked-ihedioha-declared-apcs-uzodinma-winner-in-imo.html I am not saying Obi can't claim his mandate but it has to be with strong facts for the court to take a stance. |

Web2020: You guys haven't learnt any lessons and I don't think you will ever learn. Court process isn't based on "wọ́n ní wọn pé" (them say, them say) but on facts. If you have facts, yes the court would hear your prayers but all you have said here is pure gibberish and you are asking who lack a simple education. Btw, it is one thing to go to school, it is another to be educated. So you should ask yourself if you only went to school or you are also educated. |

maintenant: Another one spotted. May be you should go and check the Tribunal petition of Oyetola vs Adeleke and compare it with this joke. Probably then you can tell who is a backward thinker. Courts are not based on emotions but facts, yes they may have the exhibits somewhere but you need to highlight on the ground of your prayers to the court. The petition only stated they are not qualified and nothing more. But like I said it would be nice to see how the court cases would go. I just hope some SANs won't end up sounding foolish in the end. 7 Likes 1 Share |

OfoIgbo: Here we go again. Not dissecting the issues from emotions as always. You should go and read the constitution and the electoral act very well and if you follow the elections in Nigeria very well you will have an understanding. I asked on what ground would 1st respondent be disqualified if he was passed on by party as well as INEC. This has to be stated just like Oyetola is using to support his legal battle in Osun on the basis of forgery allegations on Adeleke. And if Obi is claiming this then, what should an Atiku that got 25% in 21 states do? You guys don't understand how elections work as you are headless mob and the reason that if this election is conducted a 100 times you will always loose. Btw, the result showed that Obi won 25% in 16 states and it would be nice you show us the result of how he won 25% in 24 states. 33 Likes 3 Shares |

With this petition, the case has ended even before it started. On what ground would you say INEC should disqualify a candidate and not eligible to contest. That INEC should disregard the vote of the 1st and 2nd respondent, and hence declare the 1st petitioner as the winner. Then what should Atiku that came 2nd with over 6.8m votes do? I think some SANs need to think deeply before filing a petition because these are pre-election matters that is the responsibility of the party not the opposition. Well, it would be interesting to see the outcome of the Tribunal but honestly I expected something solid from the Obi's legal team and not this joke. 201 Likes 23 Shares |
Politics / Re: Kano: Tinubu Assures Muslim Leaders Of Fair, Just Leadership To All Nigerians by Larryhoover(m): 7:12pm On Jan 04, 2023 |
shugamummy: This is the issue I have with most people supporting politicians. You mentioned he delivered on all his promises and he left APGA for PDP while still a governor. I remembered his PDP candidate contested against Obiano, so saying he handed over to Obiano of APGA is incorrect. You claimed he delivered all the promises of elections, let me ask, if what you said here is true why couldn't he at least ensure his foundation is continuous. We learnt Ojukwu had to beg Igbo political helmsmen for Peter Obi to run a second term why didn't they want to vote him without Ojukwu's interfere if he had done well in the first tenure?. You said Anambra is enjoying governance, the last time I checked, Anambra is one of the most unsecured state in the country due to the activities of UGM and IPOB. And your purported Messiah stays in Ikoyi Lagos, according to reports, not even any his children can be seen around. The recent Soludo's article claimed most roads he constructed are already dilapidated, meaning he did substandard road projects and you said he delivered on all electoral promises? Even though, his speeches sounds as if he intends to serve which I doubt, but one thing is certain which I know is that he is interested in serving his interest which Soludo also pointed out in his article because we know how elections play out in Nigeria. Like I tell people, if Peter Obi was to win, he needs a strong political alliance across the country. A popular Buhari couldn't win elections for 3 consecutive times before forming alliance with Tinubu and the same alliance is being sought by Tinubu in the North in the current expedition. With an Atiku, Kwankwaso, Obi, Wike in 2019, PDP lost the election and now all these Key PDP stalwarts are pursuing interest in separate channels today and you think they are not making the journey easier for Tinubu. Try and disconnect emotions from reality, though I am not convinced a Peter Obi can make a difference cause he was also part of PDP until May 2022 and we also saw he was antagonized while serving as a governor. But if truly he can perform as you all have claimed and he intends to actually win the presidency, I think he would need more than the current support as winning elections is different from running governance. |
Politics / Re: Kano: Tinubu Assures Muslim Leaders Of Fair, Just Leadership To All Nigerians by Larryhoover(m): 2:50am On Jan 04, 2023 |
shugamummy: Well, the hard truth is that all what you have been hearing from any politician now are all fallacy and hoax. All they are saying now is to cajole people to win elections either good or bad and I can bet you once they emerge, they would shift post. So, you holding on to what Tinubu said in campaigns is like expecting a white elephant project. Learning from 2015 emotional promises and campaigns and where it led us to, I can say it categorically, they are all projecting and only the winner would understand what they are up against after winning elections. So winning elections and governance are 2 separate things. Go and check in the history of Nigeria politics, how many presidents or head of states have been able to fulfill all their promises? 1 Like 1 Share |

Foreign Affairs / Re: One Third Of World Economy Expected To Be In Recession In 2023, Says IMF Chief by Larryhoover(m): 1:59am On Jan 04, 2023 |
Honestly, I think this IMF should be deprecated as they are always harbinger of bad news. Oftentimes I see this their projections as mind games like fundamentals analysis to cause panic across the world to enrich some powerful countries and force the less advantaged into loans so that they can always be at their mercy. I am not sure I have seen IMF said a year would be good for any underdeveloped or developing country. This is sickening and I think rather than sending panic across the world, why can’t they help the struggling nations on how to navigate the economy. Instead, they would always dangle loan at you so that you can be continuously indebted to them and they can now determine how your economy performs. 1 Like |
