The election is over and I think Obaseki should focus on governance rather than bickering. It might be surprising how 4 years would come and go. The day the Late Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo called himself The Constituted Authority when Lautech students protested was just like yesterday. I am certain most of these Lautech student would have graduated while only few would still be in school. Obaseki should tread with caution.

Another point was that Ambode ran a one man show and he was not a people person and neither a grassroot politician. He felt being loyal to Tinubu alone could save him without the party members. Truth be told, Ambode orchestrated his own predicament, even though Tinubu could have saved his ass but a lot of bad blood had developed with party chieftains prior to the elections. The irony is that if Tinubu had continue to support Ambode then, Tinubu's influence might have been revolted against and probably giving Jimi Agbaje a better opportunity during the last election as alot of people would prefer Jimi to Ambode then. Hence the need to bring in Sanwo Olu into the game. The same revolution against Ambode was done to Gbenga Ashafa, despite being a Tinubu boy, he lost Lagos East to Peperito that passed on recently due to Covid complications.

The same thing could have happened to Fashola in 2011 but when Tinubu saw the body language of the people, he had to align or else ACN would have lost Lagos to PDP then as PDP was ready to give Fashola an open platform should he be out of ACN.

In a nutshell, the saving grace for Obaseki was that he was a people person and got empathy after disqualification from APC which Ambode didn't enjoy.

However, I think the race for 2023 has begun and Edo election seems to be the Beginning.

The rate of container falling on cars these days is getting scary. It tells how bad our system is, from bad roads to poor safety measures and to crown it all, an inept government running the affairs. I think to live in Nigeria is synonymous to living in hell.

The numbers of containers falling on cars reported this year alone is alarming and as a precautionary measures that I take, I don't drag road with those trucks and BRT in Lagos, they always feel like the GODZILLA of the road and if I am to overtake I always ensure there is clearance and not caught in the middle, though it's the Almighty that protects but we also need to take the safety measures we can.

I salute the guy Gabriel Jonah. He is the selfless individual here for providing the relevant information to the family to conduct the operation. Unlike some people in this world, they will have the information to someone's problem but they ll prefer to see the person suffer than be relieved while forgetting the world is big enough for everyone to be successful.

I went to a birthday party with 2 friends in 2009, we got drunk on Napoleon and boom the drama started after 20mins. I first dropped the Napoleon bottle on the floor and it broke and a friend later asked of the remaining Napoleon and I was showing him my empty hand as if I was still holding the drink. After about 10mins I left with my 2 friends to go home, there was no bike or taxi so we had to trek for about 3km. On our way home a friend got to the main express and slept on it that we had to pull him up and plead that we were not yet at home and we had to hold him closely so that he won't insist again while on our way. My house back then used to be a lion's den and you dare not come back home late but on getting home we banged the gate as if we wanted to bring it down and at some point the Gateman got scared and opened the door with fear. Truly alcohol is a bitch.

Thereafter my Uncle's wife (Fearless Woman) asked us from her window where we were coming from at 1am and I responded without any remorse "Mama we are coming from a party ni jor"...lol

We all entered and slept anyhow and after like 20mins I threw up all the food and the alcohol I had consumed and I slept back without knowing. When I was informed about it the following day I couldn't believe it until I was shown the video made by one of us, it was so disgusting.

Finally, the following morning, the room was so unbearable with the smell of the alcohol vomit as all of us threw up all through the night that I landed in the hospital. I developed a serious body itch and after proper examination, I was advised by the doctor to do away with alcohol as it was not good for my system. This then became the end of my journey in the alcohol world.

This guy's life is an inspiration to hustlers.

For me, I think Atiku should forget ruling Nigeria as he lost his last chance in the 2019 elections. It is quite unfortunate that the state of the country is what it is today. I recall prior to the last presidential election, having engaged a good number of elites on their preferred candidate, they aired some views that actually battered the candidacy of Atiku even though Buhari wasn't the best choice.
1. His unredeemed pedigree orchestrated by Obasanjo in his book and other public avenue.
2. Accusation of massive stealing while in Government as VP and as the head of Customs.
3. Allocation of Government properties to himself and other laundry list of allegations against him.

Despite his perseverance to win the 2019 presidential election, I was bewildered when he was asked on live TV about his status and influence in the economy of Adamawa state but Atiku resorted to being defensive by replying the interviewer "Do you know what I have been through before reaching this position". Of course that would instigate a lot of questions from Nigerians when a presidential candidate is being defensive on question about his integrity.

In a nutshell, all odds were and are still against him. Because despite all the agitations, Southerners would fight for the next presidency regardless of the clamour of merit against zoning recently being debated.

Finally, is the age factor. Currently he is 73 years and if he should clinch power in 2023, he would be 76 years and should he get a second term, he would be leaving office at 84 years. Buhari is also 77years and would leave office at 80years. The question is, what difference would Atiku make to Nigeria at 76 provided he is healthy and judging from Buhari's Governance of today marred with a lot of health challenges and lack of adequate Governance skills.

So for me I think it's time for Atiku to retire his political career as it would be a Herculean task for him to become the president of Nigeria.

Aajo o le dabi Ile... But once all the global crises have calm down, please re-strategize your "japa" mission, though to a better nation and not Lebanon and the "Stan" like Pakistan, Afghanistan etc.
